Herbert Armstrong's Tangled Web of Corrupt Leaders

LCG's Super Mario

From my favorite LCG source:

He's an extremely virile man who likes to flirt with the single ladies at church. The sermon is actually about a literal marriage we have with Jesus - from courtship to consummation.

  1. That first clip is just too funny.
They make it so easy. You run the funniest blog in the world by merely repeating what they do or name them by the names they assign to themselves.
It makes me wish I had invented the paperclip another of those clever and simple solutions.

  2. How dare you pick on Mr. Hernandez! God is using him for His purpose here on earth. He speaks the truth that others fail to preach.

    1. Oh, you must mean the consummation part.

  3. This is a riot! I can't stop laughing. I know this asswipe.

  4. The short clip above robs him of his dignity. There is no need to hit below the belt. Christ never did that.

  5. I actually used to like Mario Hernandez when I was in LCG. I never saw the side of him that others here have commented about although I will agree that he is narcissistic which is a trait that is rampant within LCG ministry.

Ultimately, he has been a huge disappointment though. I always thought he was courageous and powerful but after knowing him for 10 years I can say without hesitation that he is actually cowardly and weak.

I always thought he would make a stand against injustice and untruth but instead he just walks away from it with his tail between his legs.

His power, position and authority over others is far more important to him than doing the right thing as is the case with 99.9% of LCG ministry. He would rather have a secure place to suckle from Rod Meredith's teet than risk his high and mighty position doing the right thing.

Poor character is the defining trait of LCG ministry. Especially at headquarters.

  6. Just keep coming back, 1:29. It'll all sink in eventually.

  7. Since when has any minister in the church ever respected the dignity of the regular members? They are disrespectful, abusive, routinely mock members and gossip about their problems they counsel about. Since when has any minister ever respected Jesus enough to do entire sermons on what he taught without quoting Herbert Armstrong or the Old testament? If Super Mario wants respect then he needs to start dishing it out.

  8. Mario now shuns ex-LCG members in whose home he lived for over a year. He knows the character of these people to their very core; knows they are good, loving, God-fearing. They fed him countless meals, did his laundry, shopped for him, drove him about and did 1000 other daily things for him. But because he is a weak follower of Rod Meredith, he won't even speak to them now that they aren't in LCG.

THAT is who Mario Hernandez is. A yes man who is follows a corrupt church government instead of standing for the love and mercy our Lord spoke of as the greatest commandment.

  9. Wow, aren't there a number of vile commenters on this blog? Remember that your words reveal the inner you.

  10. Who's being vile???????? Honesty is the best policy. The best thing about the internet now is that people are not afraid to tell the truth about the abusive ministers in the church. Yes, Mario is one of them!

  11. I've been at the brunt of Mario being superman minister, through no fault of my own. I refused to back down. I will not be intimidated by this fool or any other minister in the church. Those days are long gone. When the ministry starts acting like true shepherds then maybe church members will be more "kind" with their words.

  12. 12.50PM Christ on several occasions quoted the old testament. So why discard it?

  13. Vile comments?? In others words, we are not to recognize the evil in Gods church, especially the ministers lawlessness. What happened to 'the truth shall make you free?' 'Prove all things,' and 'you shall know them by their fruits,' means passing moral judgment, rather than suspending it.

  14. 42.50pm you are right about ministers gossiping about members that they counselled. They also gossip to their wives about this as well. I know since when I was a church member, the ministers wives would look and react to me a certain way.

    1. Ministers wives are the biggest gossips going. Don't forget many tend to be insecure and wildly jealous of the least thing. gossiping about brethren is quite a fun pastime to them.

  15. The old AC shibboleth wasn't "vile". The word was "crass". It was one of the most overused words on campus. "Sick" came in a close second, though.

Excellent point! Who wouldn't want the evil exposed in God's Church? Christ exposed all of the hireling ministers who profess to be "of Christ," but are in reality "of someTHING else." Christ told us what about virtually all of those scattered HIRELING ministers who fled, leaving their ministerial credentials behind in Pasadena, to became part of their own man-made groups and thus be allowed to "do their own thing?"

John 10:12 But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep.

:13 The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep.

Those hirelings, including Mario, did not and do not care for the sheep! Either Jesus Christ's words are true in that a fleeing hireling cares not for the sheep or Jesus Christ is a liar.

The fleeing/fled hireling ministers can't have it "their way" with Christ, nor can they have their cake and eat it too. The brethren, the sheep, are seeing through all of them as they continue to expose themselves and their evil fruits/works. Time is telling, isn't it?

How do you define a "vile commenter?" Was Jesus Christ, in whom was no guile, a vile commenter by exposing fleeing hirelings who did not care for God's sheep? Did Jesus Christ's words reveal His inner SELF? Yes, and he exposed the hypocrits, whited walls, "snakes," etc. In fact, one time He said this to about somebody giving good gifts to his kids:

Matthew 7:11 If YE then, BEING EVIL, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

Jesus knew what was in man. And Paul knew it too. Here are some of Paul's inner thoughts about himSELF:

Romans 7:17 Now then it is no more I that do it, but SIN that DWELLETH IN me.

Huh? What kind of inner thoughts are those, because that is true of you (and me, as well) too? So, huh?

:20 Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but SIN that DWELLETH IN me.

There, Paul repeated himself! Paul was part of God's Church and sin was dwelling within himself...therefore, within God's Church too. Is that a vile comment? And evil was present with Paul.....as it still is with those of God's Church today!

:21 I find then a law, that, when I would do good, EVIL is PRESENT WITH me.

Why is that true? It's all about what makes up that inner you/me/us. Here is one hint:

"...The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy..." James 4:5

Is that just some evil comment from James...nothing to do with the self-righteous James Malm, or the self-righteous hireling ministers who fled WCG of a bygone age?

If you think those thoughts of Jesus Christ, Paul and James are evil comments, then you won't like John's comments regarding sin either:

"He that committeth sin is of the devil..." I John 3:8

    John
