Exposing the underbelly of Armstrongism in all of its wacky glory! Nothing you read here is made up. What you read here is the up to date face of Herbert W Armstrong's legacy. It's the gritty and dirty behind the scenes look at Armstrongism as you have never seen it before!
With all the new crazy self-appointed Chief Overseers, Apostles, Prophets, Pharisees, legalists, and outright liars leading various Churches of God today, it is important to hold these agents of deception accountable.

UCG's Creepy Sock Puppet Back To Help You Make A Difference
Again, another guy with a hat in the muppet skit. They sure love their hats. The theme is so churchy, and so incorrect. The biggest virtue is productivity ('to him who overcomes'), rather than thoughtfulness, or giving away ones goods and services to parasites.
The hat dude is a pretend hipster minus the tattoo's and originality. UCG gets as close to the world as they can while pretending to not be a part of it. Creepy is right!
This is the first of the Jelly videos that I have actually watched. Looks like they had fun doing it, and it did require a certain amount of talent to produce. Obviously, they owe a huge debt to Sesame Street. I also thought the message was positive, over all, because each of us has the capacity to make a difference.
The problem is, we know who this organization is, its underlying philosophy, the ethics involved, and how they would structure this "difference" if given free reign. That is what makes it ugly. Although the individual actors are most likely sincere, it is disingenuous propaganda for a toxic system, and an attempt to make that system appear normal and wholesome.
If you see a jet airliner sitting on the tarmac, and knew nothing of flight, since the plane's weight was measured in tons, the idea that it could fly would appear preposterous. Why? We are all familiar with the law of gravity. However, in flight, laws governing thrust and lift are used to overcome gravity, and to control it. So the ability to counter one of the laws of the universe is facillitated by applying other (higher?) laws of that same universe, in ways that benefit mankind.
The thing is, Jesus taught mankind how to apply this same basic principle of applyng higher laws, (the two great commandments) the laws behind the laws, to the dos and don'ts of the Old Covenant, in such a way that the spirit or moral intent of the law would be fulfilled without all of the physical rituals and legalism.
Oops, spastic thumbs caused a premature conclusion!
The thing is, if we give Jelly a pass, we inadvertently give legalism a pass, and in an era of particularly cruel enforcement of all the legalism as we see in the ACOGs, we miss the slavery and suffering the legalism is causing in the lives of some very real and often sincere people. Who would want to see more people recruited to such misunderstanding and nightmares?
Whats that all about.I bet the dancing dude must be the life and soul of the FOT parties hey. Who thinks of these films ? The hat dude allegedly. Wow if ever that was being paid money for jam. Feel sorry for the home schooled ucg kids that have to endure that on a regular basis.
Byker Bob, your metaphor also reminds me of "voodoo cult cargo science". The natives would build airplane effigies in order to entice the gods to drop more food or aid. That is as far as their religion would allow them to think. They could only emulate so many things through the various rituals from their culture.
Maybe Jelly could explain how HWA should have not screwed his daughter for over 10 years at the beginning of his ministry. Now that might be an education...
12.13 PM 'Bad Moms' not bad either. Technically, it's high quality. It's a myth that air pressure differences on the wings (lift) enables planes to fly. Mathematically, this doesn't give enough lift for flight. Also, this cannot explain how planes with symmetrical wings can fly, how a paper plane can fly or how a plane can fly upside down in a straight line. The answer, Newtons third law of for every action, there is a equal reaction. In order words, air is being pushed down, keeping the plane up. It's still not fully understood. NASA has an article on it on their web site.
LEAVE JELLY ALONE! YES I AM YELLING. I HAVE BEGGED YOU BEFORE TO LEAVE LITTLE GUY JELLY ALONE. OH THE CRUELTY. OH THE ROTTEN PUPPET PREJUDICE AND BIAS OF THIS WEBSITE.
Leave jelly alone ? Noway, that thing represents a demond as far as I'm concerned. It's blue not human and why oh why couldn't they have used a child actor.
6:16, in the mid to late '60s, as drag racers were approaching 200 mph at the top end of the 1/4 mile in their "rail jobs" there were sometimes problems with lift-off and spectacular crashes until ground effects were developed for the cars to keep them on the asphalt. This, of course, was a completely different problem from the wheel stands resulting from extreme torque that sometimes ended racers' runs as they left the line. A lot of interesting development has emanated from the speed trials at Bonneville Salt Flats as well.
In the field of aeronautics, there's a lot of science not only behind flight, but also in attaining progressively greater speeds and altitudes of the planes. The shapes of the wings changed dramatically with the advent of the jet era following WW-II. But, the point still remains that a different set of natural laws of science were applied in such a way as to defy and control the law of gravity, so that flight could be possible. That's kind of neat when you think about it. No laws are being broken in the process, there is simply a confluence of other laws applied in such a way as to take precedence over the law that is generally dominant in practical situations. It's a kind of sublimation principle not realized, practiced or preached in Armstrong theology, and it's totally legit.
Anyone else notice that the examples given are of the little blue guy being humiliated while "helping" a little girl? Not to mention that the examples were attempts at male gallantry not doing something that was actually helpful. Blows the mind to think about the subtexts.
I'm torn on this one. At least it's not "Jelly learns principles of proper Sabbath-keeping living in the Arctic circle" or "Jelly learns the Plain Truth about Pigs". I'll take the absence of law-thumping where I can.
But I want to know more about WHY Jelly wants to make a difference. Is it because Jesus told his followers that they would be known for the love they show for one another? Because Paul told him to esteem others better than himself? Because His Savior said that the greatest love was to lay down one's life for his friends?
Or is it because a crochety old sock puppet named Herbie told his parents and grandparents about the "give" and "get" ways of life, profiting handsomely from their living the "give" way?
I'm anoy 11:39 and I won't shut up. It represents alot. It's voice alone is not representing a childs voice either. Like that awful bird fountain HWA had bespoke made for ambassador halls. That puppet is awful.
Well, it could be a lot worse- the Jehovah's Witlesses have their own children's superstitious garbage indoctrination video demonizing a made up plastic toy...
"Also, this cannot explain how planes with symmetrical wings can fly, how a paper plane can fly or how a plane can fly upside down in a straight line."
Anon 6:16 PM
I don't think a paper plane will stay up long enough to make it from Cleveland to Chicago...
It concludes with the following, which to me implies they still haven't mastered the topic.
"The real details of how an object generates lift are very complex and do not lend themselves to simplification. To truly understand the details of the generation of lift, one has to have a good working knowledge of the Euler Equations."
Hahaha! The problem with that stupid Jelly puppet (ripped off from Jim Henson and Disney) is that it's used to recruit and retain people into the UCG cult.
Has anyone reported Jelly to Disney, as being a possible trademark violation? Disney takes trademark and copyright violations very seriously (you could maybe even say "rabidly"), as do many other holders of trademarks and copyrights.
Wouldn't it be great if Mickey told Jelly to cease and desist?!

Let's not involve occult magician mickey mouse. The truth behind Disneyland is all over Utube. The is video evidence of supernatural spirits walking around Disneyland itself. Dealing with the jelly muppet is enough.
Was the guy in the hat Bill Nye?

What a difference religion makes!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see Sausage Party. Tells it like it is about religion, apparently, as opposed to this propaganda indoctrination drivel.

You wonder if the janitor and the guy in the hat have something going on, if you know what I mean!!
ReplyDeleteSuper Marionette, ala Fireball XL5 or Thunderbirds is better. Jelly, should go that direction career wise.

ReplyDeleteMalcolm Murray probably spoke badly of Jelly and thus, lost his job.
ReplyDeleteJelly should be telling the kids to study hard and get good grades in school. Other wise, they could end up a dancin janitor.

If Jelly wants to make a difference, maybe he could volunteer at a soup kitchen or for Habitat For Humanity.
ReplyDeleteSince when did apocalyptic Armstrongism ever advocate making a difference? Clearly they haven't started now either.

Adjustable flaps and good old thrust do the trick.

I believe it's inaccurate to say that one can "defy and control the law [or theory] of gravity"
ReplyDeleteI won't get into airplane design, Newton's laws of motion or misapplication of Bernoulli's principle, here.
I'll simply say that in the case of a helium balloon, if you let go of it, it rises because of....... gravity!

ReplyDeleteOMG! I just watched videos showing the TRUTH behind Disneyland.
ReplyDeleteDisneyland is CHOCK FULL OF SATAN!!!
After I saw the Satanic symbol on the Dumbo ride, I couldn't watch any further!
It's SHOCKING!
Satan is amazingly tricky, using a cartoon mouse to open thousands of childrens' minds every single day to become DEMON POSSESSED!
THANK YOU FOR ALERTING ME TO THIS!
I will now call Glenn Beck and Breitbart so that they can warn others.
If a cartoon mouse can do all this, I shudder to think what a REAL mouse might be able to inflict on our children. It is truly MIND BOGGLING!
Blasphemy gets you nowhere. Never answer a fool according to his folly.
