EXCLUSIVE: UCG Stance On Allwine Murder Case

UCG brass met with their brethren in the Twin Cities today to discuss the tragic Allwine murder case.

Reports from people who attended today's special UCG Twin Cities meeting about the Allwine case:

1. UCG is "not taking sides" in this case.

2. BUT Steve Allwine has been stripped of his eldership and isn't allowed back to church.

3. Amy's family has taken custody of their 9-year-old son.

4. Allwine's family has raised his bail, reportedly. I'm told he could be out of jail this week.

5. Steve Allwine will be pleading not guilty at his February hearing.

6. Some believe he is smart enough to get away with this. This is someone who "takes pride in gaming the system" in daily life, a self-styled lifehacker with a high opinion of his own intellect.

7. While to the layperson, this looks like an open and shut case, if he manages to sow enough reasonable doubt in the state's case, this trial could go sideways. While they do have definitive evidence that Amy was murdered, showing it was Steve beyond a reasonable doubt may prove more difficult.

8. That said, first degree murder charges could be forthcoming once the state assembles a grand jury. Second degree is all they could initially charge him with due to the nature of what they could directly pin on him and what they can't, along with state protocol. But in Minnesota, a grand jury makes the determination to slap someone with first degree murder charges. First degree murder in Minnesota is a life sentence if found guilty.

9. Most in the congregation are sad, aghast, confused and hurt amid this crisis. But above all, there is palpable anger over this betrayal.

Lets see how long it takes for James Malm to copy these specific points and post them as if he received the information.

  1. Neutral? What ever happened to "suspended" pending the outcome of the trial?

These statements and steps are hardly neutral. They are damage control measures designed to protect the reputation of UCG. I have no idea whether Allwine is guilty or innocent, although the evidence reported in the media doesn't exactly elliminate him as a suspect. One of the factors that influences juries is support of the family of the accused, and if they are bailing him out, it demonstrates that they somewhat believe in him even if his church has thrown him under the bus.

  2. UCG are not taking sides???? What an absolute cowards way out to take. They should be ripping their clothes and putting in sackcloth and ashes in sorrow at their decision in making this dark man an elder. The evidence is stacked agains him. This could break UCG. Was not Amy Allwine a upstanding Christian if UCG doesn't she deserve better from the UCG Ministry. Shameful.

  4. BB, the church throws everyone under the bus. That's standard operating procedure in all these daughter churches, just like in the Mama church. Top ministers have doctorates in throwing members under the bus. The we-throw-you-under-the-bus churches of god.

    Years too late.

  6. I see the weasel Malm did exactly what you thought he would do. Stole the information here and posted it as if he had received it first. What a con artist.

  7. UCG assumes the man is guilty. And remember, they gave class's on throwing people under the bus. The course was called "plausible denial 101".

  8. It has the making of a good real life crime drama with a cult background...

  9. IF FOUND GUILTY, I HOPE THIS WILL BE ALLWINE"S FAVORITE SONG..

Sing along to the tune "CHAIN GANG" ... Sam Cooke
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E-AW_l_Wmbg

Uh, Ah, Uh, Ah, Uh Ah, Uh Ah
    That's the sound of Allwine
    working on the chain ga-a-ang
    That's the sound of Allwine
    working on the chain gang

All day long he work so hard
Till the sun is goin' down
Working on the highways and byways
    And wearing, wearing a frown

You hear him moanin' his life away
    Then you hear somebody sa-ay
    That's the sound of Allwine
    working on the chain ga-a-ang
    That's the sound of Allwine
    working on the chain gang

All day long he is singin',
My, my, my, my, my, my, my, my, my work is so hard
    Give me water, I'm thirsty

My, my work is so hard
Oh my, my, my, my, my, my work is so hard

  10. With just the evidence that the police and media have reported, I'd say it's about a 99.9% chance that this so-called "minister" killed his wife. I am surprised that he hasn't been denied bail. Apparently, they don't consider him to be a flight-risk or that he will harm anyone else.

It's possible that he has a clean record and that his being a "minister" will
allow him some leeway. He'll probably have an ankle monitor. He's a good candidate for suicide. Maybe, that's how some want this to end.

There are a lot of sneaky, rotten people like that in the UCG. That is why the UCG just splits and splinters rather than grows.

  12. I watched the news report but they didn't mention motive, other than that he had an affair (hardly motive for murder). Found his internet name "dogdaygod" interesting. Anyone know what was going on?

    1. He was trying to pin it on someone in the dog community. Amy was highly regarded as a dog trainer

  13. Annoy at 8.17 mentions no motive being mentioned and considers having an affair as no motive for murder. Are you kidding me. Since when did an evil and wicked heart need more motive than pride, jealousy. Who knows what motivated him. Do you wonder about the motive of Satan ? Did Cain need a motive to murder his brother Abel? Did King Saul have a good motive against David?what motive did king David had to send a man into battle to die so he could committ adultery.
Evil is evil and this man is no 1 suspect in an evil act if murdering his own wife.

  14. If UCG doesn't take a stand for many Truths of The Bible, why would they take a stand for either party in this case? They are the wishy-washiest bunch that I have ever been involved with. Left them several years ago.

Has anyone heard if they are going to start sending members door-to-door to get more members?

  15. The UCG was originally formed in 1995 to stand up for the paychecks of the ministers, and to plan for their retirement packages.

Sometimes the UCG also stands up for the godless perverts in it and helps them to get rid of any of their victims who complain about their bad behavior that they refuse to repent of.

There does not appear to be any other great purpose for the UCG, other than to try to attract new members just for the heck of it. Of course, this never worked out well. All the UCG's efforts to show that it is better than HWA's WCG have always proven just the opposite.

I would say that goes for Armstrongism in general.

GOD:DOG, good:evil, is schizo-type confusion rampant in armstrongism or is it more self-contradicting narcissists?
