Dave Pack continues his downward spiral into madness. The problem with what you read below is that his members will do exactly what he told them to do. After all of this time, and with all the things on the Internet about this slug, they deserve everything that will happen to them when he goes belly up or is institutionalized.

This are notes from Dave Pack's last few sermons (end of May 2017 to probably first week in June):
He states that the "fire" (ultimate testing of God's people) has already started. He talked about not hiring any more ministers and said that we do not need to build any more buildings because the end is just about here. Then he said that the coming "fire" before the Tribulation period (which is right around the corner) means to totally commit to the end-time Work by pulling their wallets out of their pockets to fund the Work. References Luke 12: 32 and 33: "Sell that you have and give alms."
Talks about how he knows there are millions of dollars that "God's people" are sitting on right now and they're trying to get themselves to release it but it's hard. Family, spouse, kids--they are catching 'heat' from family, but of course, this heat is nothing compared to what is coming on the world. But "God is literally going to cook it out of you with the coming fire." The early birds into the coming kingdom must do this. He said he truly fears for those who do not sell all that they have. He says they can't play games. God will not be able to let people "escape" the coming Tribulation unless they are willing to do everything. They will or won't obey that command. Says that is the fuel for the coming fire (or testing of God's people). Says you can't be saved unless you do this.
In the next sermon Pack talks about faith. He finally gets to the point of his sermon during the second hour. Sell all you have, release your funds to prove to God that you trust Him completely. Pray for those who have significant funds (implying they won't let go of their money). He reads verses referencing denying God, or denying Christ, by not doing good works. He talks about knowing that we are close [to the end], as his own trials are telling him that. Mentions the verse about selling all you have, references fundraising, saying he never talks about that. Says he truly fears for all those who don't sell all they have and sit on their money. He says he really feels afraid for those people as they won't be saved. Think of the guilt you will have not giving all your money to God. Don't hide money. Don't deny God in this way. --[name removed]
Why does he need money if the end is nigh? What a con artist.
ReplyDeleteWouldn't it be just awful if the teenagers in RCG got fed up with eating beans, going to school in thrift store clothes and having no college fund, so decided to swarm Dave by boxing up the dog droppings from their parents' lawns and UPSing them to Dave?

"Sell all you have, release your funds to prove to God that you trust Him ."
ReplyDeletecompletely.
Why doesn't he stop talking about money to prove that he is trusting God to provide for the Work? George Mueller, who operated an orphanage in England in the 1800's never asked for money from anyone. He demonstrated faith in the fact that he was doing the work of God and that God would provide.
RCG Recently Hired A Minister From UCG.
ReplyDeleteThese stories are true. My family attended RCG for a time, we are finally out now, and what a feeling of freedom. Dave does want your money, and does threaten salvation "if you don't send it all in!"
ReplyDeleteDavid Pack(rat) must sell his house, car, and belongings. He can sleep under the stars. He is a crook, con artist, and at best a nut job.
ReplyDeleteIf he had a billion dollars he would still not have people joining him.
ReplyDelete"...they deserve everything that will happen to them..." Is this the consensus here?
ReplyDeleteDid the members of the Peoples Temple, Heaven's Gate, etc. deserve what happened to them? Or do you just mean financial ruin is deserved?
maybe Dave can get his show on TBN....he certainly twists and perverts the scriptures in order to bring in the cash.....he'd be a perfect fit.
ReplyDeleteIn God we trust, David Pack, not so much.
ReplyDeleteWell, if any RCG woman is about to become codependent to her husband who has been snookered by Dave's "common" doctrinal crap, I'd advise her to listen to some Miranda Lambert, specifically to the song "Gunpowder and Lead"!
ReplyDeleteDon't let a madman jeopardize the financial stability of your family just because he can spin some stupid yarns involving prophecy.

No. I hope any and all of us, if and whatever we might need to change and do differently, would come to right /good understanding without being "beaten" (anymore). That's my hope.
must be the "gun lap"....
ReplyDeleteI can't help wondering if Dave and other ministers are also motivated by a desire to ruin their members. Last time I noticed, envy, cruelty, sadism, malice, murder etc, still abounds in society.
ReplyDeleteCount Packula from the Transylvania church of god, wants to drain you of your financial blood.

Yes, that is exactly what the Devil sent false prophets like Gerald Flurry and David Pack to do. They are here only to lie, steal, destroy, and kill.

Some sincere and decent people got tricked and harmed by David Pack. Some well-meaning people just wanted to do what they thought was right and hold on to what they had been taught in the past by HWA. David Pack initially claimed that he and his RCG were going to do that more faithfully than anyone else and their splinter group. Later, David Pack made some of the most massive and outrageous doctrinal changes around. If people really, truly, solidly believed in holding on to what HWA had taught, they ought to be out of the RCG by now. Unfortunately for them, if they were true gullible believers and already obediently handed over virtually everything they had to David Pack, it will be unbelievably difficult for them to accept that he is actually a demoniac who has deceived them, and robbed them, and utterly betrayed their trust. The fact that God allowed such things to happen to them at the thieving hands and lying mouth of a raging false prophet like David Pack could discourage them into withering up and dying. They won't have the heart to carry on. That was clearly the Devil's plan all along.
David Pack expresses the extreme and perverse wrath of Satan against anyone who would try to remain faithful to what they had been taught in the past by HWA. Just try reminding David Pack now about what HWA had taught and watch him go into a satanic fit over it. It is becoming clearer all the time that Jesus' warning to beware of false prophets who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ferocious wolves is something to be taken very, very, VERY seriously.
Hopefully, any sincere and decent people who made the mistake of following David Pack will somehow manage to smarten up, and escape, and survive, and not be utterly destroyed by that bad, bad, BAD experience.
