Fake COG Prophet Still Cannot Get Any Respect

It has to be so frustrating sitting in your home office day in and day out, stymied by the fact that all of the Church of God's laugh at you and members ridicule you.  How can God, who has personally set you apart as a witness to the world, allow such things to happen? But alas, the way of a martyr is always painful and fraught with tests that God allows because he has let Satan run the world.  Big bad meanie Satan is out to make sure COG members do not follow the real prophets of the church. Or, that is what these self-appointed deluded professional liars of the COG believe about themselves.

Almost-arrested and almost-ordained Bob Thiel, God's most highly favored COG leader in the history of the world, and the most disappointing "son" Rod Meredith could have ever imagined, is upset once again that Living Church of God has failed to see that he is the one true prophet of the end times.

This arrogant self-appointed fool has this to say about himself and Living Church of God's stance that there are no prophets in the Church of God today.

Living Church of God members must be devastated to know that when Almost-ordained Thiel left to start his own personality cult, that there are no longer any prophets in the church. Talk about narcissistic arrogance!

LCG’s position is that it has NO prophets (which is apparently the case as I stopped associating with LCG on 12/28/12). And it has had Dexter Wakefield publish that:
We are aware of no prophets in the Church today (Wakefiel D. Living Church News, July-August 2015, p. 26)
But it should be noted that its top leader had repeatedly taught in the past that God may consider Bob Thiel to be a prophet (see How To Determine If Someone is a True Prophet of God). Consider also:
  • On August 26, 2012, LCG Evangelist Dr. D. Winnail told Bob Thiel, “We all think that you might be a prophet.”  In order in order to determine who “We all” was, on September 7, 2012, I asked if this was a reference to all three of the LCG Charlotte-based evangelists and Dr. Winnail concurred.
  • On January 7, 2013, Dr. Douglas Winnail sent me an email, which included the statement, “we made comments to you  that “you may be a prophet.””
Now that I am not in LCG, it seems obvious that LCG does not have any prophets. As far as LCG and other COGs go, they have at least 38 prophetic errors, which are cited in the article The Laodicean Church Era.
It is no wonder that Rod Meredith denied Thiel for many years and the things he taught.  Meredith no more named him a prophet than Gaylyn Bonjour set him apart to be a splinter cult leader. Everything Elijah Thiel does is because his deluded brain dreamed it up.  God is no more part of Amos Thiel's splinter cult than he is with Dave Pack's or James Malm's.

The false prophet of Africa continues to lie about Rod Meredith calling him a prophet. Elijah Thiel believes that because he is younger than most COG leaders, that HE and HE alone is that younger prophet.  Rod Meredith laughs from his grave at this idiocy!

LCG’s late Roderick C. Meredith taught that Elijah would be a younger man than he. Its Dr. Winnail has taught that the Elijah is not a person but an “Elijah-type work” which fulfills the Elijah prophesies in Matthew 17:10-11 and Malachi 4:4-6 (Winnail D. The Mission of the Church. Living Church News, March-April 2006, p. 7). The Bible shows that ‘Elijah’ will be a person (see also The Elijah Heresies).
As far as rarity goes, I would ask, “How many people were told by an actual top evangelist in the Church of God that God may consider him to be a prophet?” In the 20th and 21st centuries, there is only one who comes to mind (details are in the article How To Determine If Someone is a True Prophet of God). So, while prophets are “rare,” and being told one is a prophet by an ordained evangelist is also rare, rarity does not mean that there are none.
Thankfully, 99.99999% of the LCG membership know Amos Thiel to be a liar and a fraud.  That is why he has to run to Africa to find members.  Members who are using him for all they can get, but apparently the prophet is too limited in visions to see that.

  1. The Almost Arrested For Mail Fraud Elijah has to overcome a consistency problem.

If LCG taught so many lies as Bob says, why shouldn't we assume that RCM was lying when he said Bob might be a prophet?

In Bob's mind, LCG was lying about the Falling Away and the Marriage Supper and many errors in their booklets, but LCG taught vital new truth in proclaiming and ordaining him as a prophet.

To the rest of us, LCG was lying about the Falling Away and the Marriage Supper and the booklets and RCM's favoritism toward Bob.

  2. Does anyone recall any hint in scripture of a real prophet finding it necessary to spend all of his waking time arguing that he is a prophet, and should be considered as such? Of course not. It didn't happen. There were a few "thus saith the Lords", fulfillment, and then the person was known to be a prophet.

Let's face it. All that an Armstrongite "prophet" ever seems to be able to do is to advocate in favor of the Armstrong prophecy mold! That is not being a prophet! It is plagiarism. So LCG is right. There are no prophets.

"Dr." Thiel is making and attempting to defend an indefensible point, even as the world is waiting to hear about Kim Jung Un.

  3. ...arguing that he is a prophet...

The same thoughts come when I read Bob's recurring post. Maybe he feels he needs to do this because he doesn't really seem to do things that real prophets did.

When I read his 'I am a prophet' posts, I keep thinking of the episode of Big Bang Theory when Adam West said, I never had to say, "I'm Batman!"

  4. On Christ's death, the veil in the holy of holies split in two, giving everyone direct access to God. Hence no prophets are required.

  5. I believe Bob when he says the LCG thought he MIGHT be a prophet. That got his hopes up, and now he believes he is a prophet. He did not patiently wait for the LCG to be sure of themselves. But it's good enough for Bob.

If Bob were a true prophet it would probably be the first time ever that a prophet came to be ordained without those who ordained him thinking that they were ordaining him.

This would be strange because God is not the author of confusion.

Was there ever a minister or even a deacon (much less a prophet) officially ordained under such ambiguous circumstances, either in the bible or the COG's?

Of course, nobody in the LCG has the authority to ordain a prophet anyway.

  6. Well, this is a bit off topic, but I don't know where else to post it. Here is a video I just found of a COG minister deconstructing Flurry's claim to be That Prophet. Maybe he'll do one on Bob Theil also.

  7. If this nutjob Jim Jones wanna-be puts so much weight on those in the LCG making comments about him, like he MAY be a "prophet", then why did he leave the very group he is relying upon that makes his case that he "may" be a prophet...??? Why would he elevate himself above that particular group that he his using as evidence to prove his "prophet-ness"...?? Oh, sorry I forgot that any one claiming to be a prophet in this day and age is bat shit crazy....my bad.

  8. frankly no one would even know the man exists except for the fact that pages like this keep publicizing his name and rants...get a life, folks...

  9. ...they have at least 38 prophetic errors...

The article cited is not a list of failed prophecies, such as the 300 some failed prophecies made by HWA, Dr Hoeh, RCM, etc. It is actually a list of interpretations of prophecies by not only LCG, but other COGs, and why Bob thinks they are wrong interpretations. Bob considered them false simply because the interpretations differed from his.

  11. Since prophets outrank evangelists, and since Meredith could not and would not ordain anyone to a position higher than himself (he would lose control), there is no way Meredith was going to ordain Bob or anyone else a prophet, unless he made himself an apostle first.

    1. Oh, but according to Bob, thats exactly what should have happened: Meredith was supposed to recognize that "a prophet is a higher rank than an evangelist" and just hand him the keys to LCG.

      Bob is a damned fool.

  12. ...there is no way Meredith was going to ordain Bob...

Bob documented this issue, and claimed RCM was considering making himself an apostle, or something to that effect, so that he could ordain him as a prophet.
It seems if God wants to appoint someone, He must work within the hierarchical system...

  13. If they had carefully read the first two verses of Hebrews and believed them, LCG would have known that there are no prophets. Period.

  14. I don't think that prophets outrank evangelists, etc. The list of position in the church, "He gave some to be apostles, some to the prophets, evangelists, pastor/teachers" are not ranks, as in the military. They are positions, duties, side by side, not top to bottom.

  15. Steve D

I do agree that the listing of titles is more of position than of rank.

Perhaps a small amendment that when some people within an organism are exercising their authority based on their particular skills and duties it becomes apparent that shifting with each topic some are better equipped to adress certain topics. But all in all for lasting success it must be a group/team effort to succefully adress and assess the next steps toward future developments of a product. Steve Jobs may be in a different category, however visionaries have the tendency to autocracy.
