for about the 500th time...
Many years ago, before he was sent off to prison for a biblical 3 1/2 years, Ron Weinland claimed Jesus was returning in 2012. As everyone here knows, nothing happened in regards to this prophecy except for its mouthpiece being sent to prison.
Ron Weinland claimed that God had stepped in and delayed the return of Christ in 2012, because if he did return, far more millions of people would have been slaughtered. Since God delayed that vengeful Jesus, humanity now has a better chance of being saved from the next slaughter.
Of course, all one needs to do is listen to and believe Ron Weinland and dingy prophetess Laura and you will be saved. Woo Hoo!It was also mentioned earlier that if 2012 had remained the date for Christ’s coming that the devastation and vast death toll around the world would have been exceedingly greater. With that first date for Christ’s coming, mankind had already been judged and the execution of that judgment would have been far more severe than if it could be moved to 2019. However, God has revealed the vastness of His great mercy and love by extending that judgment for 2012 by an additional seven years so that millions could yet be saved.
God's desire was that JC was to rerun in 2019, even though God had previously revealed that JC was to return in 2012.
God has not revealed what significance or meaning there may be in the other three periods of 1,260 days that lie in between that first and fifth period, or even if there is any significant meaning in them other than the fact that they add great meaning for the total being 5 periods of time. The total of those five periods of 1,260 days is 6,300 days. That leaves 70 days remaining (from the total of 6,370). This too is not a matter of chance, but of design, and signifies God’s purpose—that mankind had been judged and that Christ could return on the Pentecost of 2012, if time was to remain cut short. However, it has already been shown that God’s greater desire was that Christ should return on the Pentecost of 2019.
Beyond 2012
After the Church had moved beyond 2012, God finally began to reveal that the countdown for Christ’s coming had been extended by exactly 7 more years, from Pentecost of 2012 to Pentecost of 2019. It was revealed that His purpose for doing so was to create a greater transformation in those who were in His Church so that they would be prepared to accomplish an even greater work in the end-time that remained.
Christ returning in 2019 gave the Church a new focus. God could now work to create far greater potential for those of the Church that had been scattered after the Apostasy to be saved into the Millennium. This later date also made way for a vastly greater and more complex work to be accomplished whereby a far greater potential could exist to deliver hundreds of millions more people into the Millennium.
This period of additional time revealed another remarkable total number of days that contained even greater meaning. This could be described as an extended deeper meaning to Christ’s coming. This change from 2012 to 2019 added another 2,570 days to the countdown for Christ’s coming. This too is awesomely significant, as this now gave the addition of two more very specific prophetic end-time periods of 1,260 days to that overall count.Deluded Ron is trying to pull a Dave Pack here. He also believes that tens of thousands of COG members will soon be so astounded by his revelations that they will leave their COG's and/or come back to join Ron's crusade. This will no more happen than 10's of thousands will ever join up with Dave Pack.
With JC returning in 2019, this has given Ron Weinland and dingy prophetess Laura some more time to be a witness to the world.
This second additional end-time period of 1,260 days runs from the 8th of November 2015 to the 20th of April 2019. This count concludes on the weekly Sabbath that is in the midst of the first Holy Day season of that year, the Feast of Unleavened Bread. This period is now recognized as the time for God’s two witnesses to complete the physical fulfillment of their witness to the world.
Revelation 11:3-6 reveals that for a period of 1,260 days God will send His two end-time witnesses to prophesy with power through-out this time. Much of that witness and the power given to it is the writing that is contained in this very book. Toward the end of this period of time, they will be able to shut up the heavens so it will not rain wherever and for however long they say. They will strike the earth with plagues as often as they choose. Much of what is fulfilled during this period will have to do with the Thunders of Revelation that will be more completely fulfilled by those things they proclaim.Be prepared for something miraculous to happen in April 2019. Watch the sky above you as you will see JC return on a specific date.
That 50-day period has already been mentioned. It is the time when God begins to pour out the Seven Last Plagues, which will lead to Christ coming to a world that has been humbled and ready to listen to him. As it has been stated, the day when his coming will be manifested in the atmosphere above the earth is the 21st of April 2019. It appears that this manifestation will be at the moment that the Wave Sheaf would have been waved before God on that day, which was in the midst of the Holy Day period of the Feast of Unleavened Bread (Lev. 23). This manifestation of Christ coming will be on the morning of the 1st day of the week that follows Passover that year. All of this calculating and postulating over dates is wearisome. A person almost needs a calculator to figure it all out. It is all useless in the long run as every single prophet the church has had in the last 80-90 years has been a failure. Putting ones faith into dates that some crazy COG minister sets show how little COG members actually know the Jesu they claim to follow.
So many TRUE PROPHETS and so little time!
ReplyDeleteThere are so many now that there needs to be a database with a search engine to find them all!
Really...the lives of these men and the time they spend on pretending to know what cannot be known , living fake lives in the future and missing their real lives now as well as dragging others with them is pathetic isn't it? Yes it is... It certainly is.
ReplyDelete"God's desire was that JC was to rerun in 2019..."
ReplyDeleteThe Jesus Show: syndicated in 50 AD and has been in reruns ever since!
Yes it is Dennis. It's also sad, tragic, disgraceful and shameful. Their own life is one thing, when they start messing with the lives of others, that is something else entirely.
ReplyDeleteThe suffering that has been endured by those who have naively fallen for this deception or, worse still, the innocent family members who have been subjected to this twisted thinking, by reason of powerlessness, just makes me sad.
Definitely need some mending, healing, binding-up and restoring! and deliverance!
What gets me is how lacking in any thinking ability his followers have to be. I began seeing in the early 1970s that our expectations about 1975 were a lot of hot air. It took me a while to realise I had to vote with my feet and get plumb out of there. The depth of delusion some of these people are experiencing is way beyond comprehension. I guess they've just invested too much to be able to bear turning their backs on it.
ReplyDeleteI like the attitude my wife's mother expressed to her many times. She used to declare rather emphatically that there was not a single person on the face of this earth that she could not live without. That's sort of been my attitude also. I don't absolutely have to have anyone, although losing some, like my wife, would be devastating.
ReplyDeleteWhen is Ron's stupidity going to end?
ReplyDeleteRon believes in that Mickey Mouse Millennium, which is coming soon, which is delayed, which is really coming? Is it? Ron's theories make God look like an idiot.
Ron said: "...However, God has revealed the vastness of His great mercy and love by extending that judgment for 2012 by an additional seven years so that millions could yet be saved..."
God giving "more time" saves more humans? Huh?
Ron, have you not read about God's love in John 3:16?
:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
How is that for the love of God? It indicates God loves the world. God gave His Son. Can God give more love than that? God desires the world have everlasting life too. Can God work that out? There is no mention of time, additional years needing to be added in order to save more!
Ron, do you want more love and mercy from God? How about the next verse?
:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved."
God is not interested in condemning this world! Isn't that nice? It appears that God desires this world be saved. Jesus Christ wan't sent to condemn the world! Can God's love and mercy get any better than that?
Then the Apostle Paul reminds us about God's concern about the world's trespasses:
"To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the WORLD unto himself, NOT IMPUTING THEIR TRESPASSES unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation." 2 Cor 5:19
Ron, it appears that God already has a plan with lots of love and mercy without getting involved with any of your stupidity and foolish ever-changing theories and timing about God's love and mercy.
For Ron, the 7 Vials are only enabled by the 7th Trump, but will not be poured out until AFTER Satan is released from some "bottomless pit." It is time to abandon your Mickey Mouse Millennium, but you just can't do that. So, you're expecting Christ to return soon? Jesus Christ just needed another 7 years? Well, your theory appears to be just another satanic theory full of stupidity.
Time will tell...
John
Apparently such posturing by various apostles and prophets makes them feel important. Their followers feel important, too, because they are following such an important individual. The most important thing is to feel important. Otherwise they might feel impotent.
ReplyDeleteThat man is a pathetic moron.
ReplyDeleteWhat a joke, just goes to show coming from RCG how each group manages to superimpose their own thought process and individuality into the prophecies in the Bible. Cunningly so too, obviously when you are unaware of the history coming into these organizations with no prior knowledge of them, you are susceptible to believing you are doing the right things so your'e willing to hear all the vomit these guys spew. But yeah, its pretty eye-opening to see how they all interpret the end time prophecies.
ReplyDeleteI haven't read his calculations nor do I want anyone telling me what they are. What will be will be, and my job is to keep on keeping on....and maybe to dig up some new cliches.
ReplyDeleteRon said: "...However, God has revealed the vastness of His great mercy and love by extending that judgment for 2012 by an additional seven years so that millions could yet be saved..."
ReplyDeleteOh, give me a break! That bullshit has been going around for centuries now based on nothing but the mad ravings of zealots that happened to get incorporated into a book people stand in superstitious awe before. I can get about as much good about listening to the ravings of some street preacher. And, just how is he going to engineer the so-called "salvation" of all those millions of people he imagines he's going to "save?" What a study in nonsense and wishful thinking!
"...if 2012 had remained the date for Christ’s coming ..."
ReplyDeletenice wording...he can be wrong without being wrong....he was right about 2012, but God changed it, so it's not his fault 2012 was wrong.
words mean things, so listen carefully and you can spot the frauds.
You see, there is no downside risk for these people. They invest their words and it produces a monetary return for them. If they are wrong, people forget about and wait for the next wave of titillating fabrications. What's not to like.
ReplyDeleteIf there were a law that if a prophecy turned out to be false, the prophet must apologize publicly and turn all of his assets over to a reputable charity, we would see the prophecy well completely and immediately dry up. Dixon Cartwright's newspaper would shrink by half, monthly Armsrongists publications would be a lot thinner, many Armstrongists would die of boredom, Armstrongist groups would fall on severely economic hard times and a lot of religious hobbyists would have to get a real job. And the world would be a little better place.
This is off topic, does anyone here know whatever happened to a minister from WCG by the name of Boyd Manzanariz ? I hope I spelt his surname correctly, the last known address was Logan, Utah.
ReplyDeleteAnd it seems everybody has gotten off the topic of the original post. This is the reason I hardly comment here.
ReplyDeleteYou are right Anon. I cleaned the comments out. I thought I could let comments through again without much moderations, but apparently not.
