For All Those Considering Joining Dave Pack's Restored Church of God
Dave advocates for religious communism. Unnatural it is for humans to be altruistic to the point it ruins them. So why are these people making themselves poor? Fear of death. The poor goddamn fools.
If the testimony of his past victims is an indicator here, the RCG exit door gets pushed fairly frequently. People seem to discover that Dave does not have the answers they seek to their deep spiritual and philosophical questions. Unfortunately, during the time period that is required for this to be made manifest, they end up leaving a sizable chunk of their net worth in his bank account. Pump and dump. It is spiritual and financial rape. Caveat Emptor!
I have to wonder if there are any people of advanced education with that group. People that have learned to think critically surely see the fallacy there. Dave calls the foolish of the world.
Just because those early Christians had all things in common does not mean that it was a good idea. The church was immature then. Later, when those communist Christians were starving because they had disposed of their Capital base, Paul had to travel around collecting money in other churches for them, creating a burden on the rest of the church. Do you think that other churches of God will collect such an offering to help out Dave's pack?
High on a hill is the lonely Packer Yodelodeladee yodalay he hoo! Fillin the bank dont you be a slacker Yodeyodelay he hoo!! Give all you can just to fill his coffers Yodeyodelaydee yodelay hee hoo! Just dont walk up to him as a scoffer Yodeyodelay he hoo!!
Oh dont give him all your money you'll be poorer than you know It will make your life so crummy where did all your money go!
Livin it large by the Giant Eagle! Yodeyodelaydee yodelay hee hoo! Taking the Common from all the People! Yodeyodelay he hoo!! Listening closely to all the murmers! Yodeyodelaydee yodelay hee hoo! They are all wondering what happened to Schurter! Yodeyodelay he hoo!!
Yodelay-hee!!!! Yodelay-hee!!! Yodalay-hee!!! You don't want to be in RCG!!!
The great danger from communism is not the ideology per se but those who control it. The people who have hijacked communism in the West and the former USSR were not communists. They just used that ideology as an excuse to take power. They still control communism today, and in my view they seem to be trying to collapse capitalism so they have an excuse for another communist takeover. That's why all the efforts at gun control.
Giving all your money to Dave is not having it in common. That just means Dave has it all. Is he going to let you live in his house and eat his groceries? I don't think so.
I don't get how selling everything is having everything in common. The buyer now has it. And when the money gets sent to some guy far away, there isn't even that available. What a perversion!
Dave Pack got off to a good start with his Restored Church and sounded quite convincing at the beginning. The result was that many sincerebutextremely unlucky people tried his Restored Church. After spending too much time and energy and money on Dave's RCG, they are reluctant to admit that they made a truly colossal mistake.
Dave's insatiable greed, combined with his hanging out with that Prince Money Seminar guy from Nigeria, led to Dave “restoring” the doctrine of “common” which in Dave's version meant that everything is his own. It does not get distributed to anyone else as they have need like in the biblical example.
Dave then used the fact that he had “restored” this “common” doctrine to help “prove” that he was the Elijah who was prophesied to restore all things. HWA had taught near the end of his life that he was the Elijah. So in hindsight Dave conveniently and reverentially and posthumously promoted HWA out of the way to the office of Moses, and took for himself the title of Elijah.
At the start of his RCG group, Dave had written a book called I Will Send Elijah to Restore All Things that had proved that HWA was the Elijah. Dave had taught that the understanding that HWA was the Elijah who had restored all things was a great wall of defence against doctrinal heresy. That book of Dave's has now been deleted from the RCG's website. Now that Dave has breached the great wall of defence against doctrinal heresy by claiming to be the Elijah himself with the power to edit/change/delete/restore doctrines, anything can happen.
RCG members cannot even comfort themselves with the idea that they are at least supporting the truth as they become destitute, since Dave has now replaced HWA's prophetic teachings with his own lengthy “First Dominion” series of prophetic nonsense that totally garbled everything that HWA had taught about the matter.
Some WCG members who did not want to go along with the Tkaches' Great Apostasy of January 1995 are now being torn to pieces by extremely vicious false prophets like Dave Pack. If one did not know any better, one might think that there is a satanic rage backed up by more cunning and deceit than most could imagine to utterly destroy anyone who thought they were going to hold on to what HWA had taught.
Dave Pack came along claiming to be simply, humbly trying to hold on to what HWA had taught. He criticized everyone else and every other splinter group for making doctrinal changes. Then, Dave went on to make truly massive doctrinal changes that totally outdid anything that any of the more normal splinter groups had ever done. As time went on, being a minister was not enough, so Dave promoted himself to the office of apostle, and then Joshua the High Priest, and then Elijah, and even That Prophet of Deuteronomy 18:18-19. Dave Pack's book called Is 'THAT PROPHET' Alive TODAY? that had previously explained that “JESUS CHRIST OF NAZARETH is 'That Prophet'” also had to disappear from the RCG's website.
You might not know exactly what a demoniac like Dave Pack will come up with in the future, but you can now be certain that it will not be good.
Communal living (let's call it what it actually is, because I'm quite sure that Dave calls it "common" because he hates hippies) was done in one extreme era of history for the purpose of survival. Christians banded together after having been expelled from the temple, losing their livelihoods in many cases, their dwellings, and even their families. They did not indulge in this survival maneuver to build a college campus or a radio studio (there weren't even any disciples we know of named Marconi, or Tesla!) Jesus had taught the disciples to go out with the bare minimum of clothing and no extra supplies, and the new disciples they made would render unto them their daily needs. This was by no means an exploitative money-grab, Dave Pack notwithstanding. He does not have the authority to rob you RCG people of your blessings!
"A scientific truth does not triumph by convincing its opponents and making them see the light, but rather because its opponents eventually die and a new generation grows up that is familiar with it. – Max Planck, one of the other fathers of quantum physics"
And this is true of Biblical issues and human spirituality as opposed to mere beliefs which are often off limits to criticizing or examining objectively because the blow back is too great. Beliefs challenged is a very uncomfortable experience for those who hold the belief being challenged.
There is not much hope for those who foolishly adhere to the beliefs of Flurry, Pack, Weinland, and all others though they be few in reality, who mix their real or imagined convictions with foolish speculation and narcissistic personalities. Just as with WCG, the true believers, who will not examine their views, simply have to pass on and it is their children who have been able to both experience it and hear other and better explanations of all things Biblical who will tell the tale of their parents mistakes in religion and Biblical application to real lives. They will live better mentally, emotionally and spiritually than their parents who followed the fairy tales of delusional religionists did.
David Pack has been quoted many times as saying "The campus should reflect the Glory of God". Which I mean is somewhat reasonable, but the opulence and the gates and the millions spent on trees that keep getting replanted because they can not figure out the chemicals being used on the million dollar grass is seeping into the same water killing the trees and is being mixed with salt from winter. I was heard dave pack quietly tell another minister as he walked up to the podium to speak, that this message was gonna rile them up to give.
Seems like multiple ministers he has by the balls are in on this scheme. The scheme is "agree with dave pack, get nice things" all at the expense of people who are tithing on an extremely low income and giving offerings from their social security because the majority of RCG membership are elderly people. One entire feast site was full of the elderly.
Now one tree alone is the salary for one person for an entire year at HQ's pay rate for their employees. "one tree". As several watch trees transplanted into the ground many would verbally say, "that tree right there, could have been my pay raise".
There is a complete disregard for the comfortable living of people inside and even worse, outside the perimeter of Headquarters.
Money is not evil, money may be "a" root of evil according to them, but the people in the church are very good at being frugal and in being able to give vast amounts tells you they are good at managing money.
I was told yesterday by a member who reached out and asked me why I left that "dave pack has humbled himself and the prophecy has become much clearer than you left." NO...What happened was that Dave most likely back peddled on things he knew were extreme and peppered his sermons with stories of humbleness and God's mercy on people leaving. He is a sorcerer. DAVID C. PACK is the very sorcerer he accused splinter leaders of being. The backdrop of everything he preaches and the foundation of it has ruined peoples lives for decades.
If what has transpired during the years of worldwide and restored are suppose to be a FORESHADOW of God's Kingdom, then that is the closest feeling to a hell I have ever experienced. I could never fathom living an eternity in a religious system that has so evidently destroyed and left damaged more families than it has repaired and turned around as commanded in the book of Malachi. I'm sorry, but I'm not sorry for feeling this way, This is an observation of many witnesses not just one.
For this reason I find it hard to even attend any other COG that feels more mainstream christian or more loving because hearing that same message knowing what ive been through, feels like slapping on a different look to the same message and its very difficult to get excited about it all over again.
For some leaving where you left off in a less restrictive COG means no guilty conscience, for me it feels like an aweful repurpose of an experience gone horribly wrong and having that in the back of my head would be such an impediment to my growth.
God has to clear up this confusion if the world will be preached to. This is utter chaos and confusion and no one in the world pays any more mind to these COG's they are just as jaded and careless as they feel about politics. RELIGION and POLITICS the two things people feel best without.
David C. Pack appeared to get off to a good start with his Restored Church and sounded quite convincing at the beginning. The result was that many sincerebutextremely unlucky people joined his Restored Church. After spending too much time and energy and money on David's RCG, they are reluctant to admit that they made a truly colossal mistake. It is very difficult for them to accept the fact that they were unable to tell a true servant of God from a raging false prophet.
David Pack's insatiable greed, combined with his hanging out with that Prince Money Seminar guy from Nigeria, led to David “restoring” the doctrine of “common” which in David's version meant that everything of everyone's is his own. It does not get distributed to anyone else as they have need like in the biblical example.
David Pack then used the fact that he had “restored” this “common” doctrine to help “prove” that he was the Elijah who was prophesied to restore all things. HWA had taught near the end of his life that he was the Elijah since all the doctrines in the WCG had come through himself. So in hindsight David conveniently and reverentially and posthumously promoted HWA out of the way to the office of Moses, and took for himself the title of Elijah.
At the start of his RCG group, David Pack had written a book called I Will Send Elijah to Restore All Things that had proved that HWA was the Elijah. If one did not know any better, one might think that there is a satanic rage, backed up by more cunning and deceit than most could imagine, to utterly destroy anyone who thought they were going to hold on to what HWA had taught them.
David Pack originally came along pretending to be simply, humbly trying to hold on to what HWA had taught. He criticized everyone else and every other splinter group for making doctrinal changes away from what HWA had taught. Then, David went on to make truly massive doctrinal changes of his own that totally outdid anything that any of the more normal splinter groups had ever done. MY GUT TELLS ME THIS GUY PACK IS GOING TO JAIL AT SOME POINT. HE MIGHT JUST GET A PUSH FROM AN INSIDER THAT IS AWARE OF THE SCAM. Sorry about the caps.
It's the spouses and children who end up paying the price for this nonsense. The relationship gets "sold", once all the money is sent in and the family relationships are broken, one finds out what they are worth in the eyes of the member.
For an upright and honest person with an open mind, a thorough reading of the passage in Acts 5, will show that the mistake/sin of A and S was not the fact that they kept part of their money back but the fact that they lied. They tried to deceive the apostles as well as thought they could get away with lying to God's Holy Spirit. No one ever before Pentecost had even imagined that a Power could discern the intentions of the heart and that created the fear that is mentioned in a later passage. In light of this, I for one, do not want to be in DP's $300 shoes!!!
So he says they had $11 million in income? So why are the ministers still not being paid? Why are they still working for someone who clearly doesn't value their time and effort? Is that why the sheep are not being taken care of? Instead of proclaiming he is an apostle, his title should be Pack of Lies.
What goes around, comes around - especially with Millerites:
Dallas Morning News, 1993:
"Rick Ross, a cult deprogrammer in Phoenix who has worked with former members of the Branch Davidians, told the Associated Press that "good salaries earned on the outside were plowed back into the sect." Koresh is "very much into money," he said.
...
In a briefing Saturday, a federal agent said investigators found that the people who joined Koresh gave up their personal goods and homes. All of their money went to Koresh."
This is the last post from David C. Pack after his devastating prophetic failure of all COG reunification under him on Elul 24, 2013
"An enormous and detailed prophecy is now being carried out by God. He is preparing events to soon bring His people back together—all of them. It is not my task to convince you the prophecy is true. God will do that! My job is to systematically lay out the specifics of what will happen and WHY—good and bad, pleasant and unpleasant. This is one of my last announcements in this long series covering one of the greatest prophecies in the Bible—the reunification of God’s people." --- Special Announcement #25 Friday, August 2, 2013
Elul 24 came and went and shortly after all of the announcements came down as well as many articles warning and mocking other COG's, at that time, I felt both eager and critical about what was going to happen to those in the splinters, a feeling is known to well to many in RCG. An environment filled with critical thinking about people in the splinters and a sense of being better because they are in rcg. In the end, both the leadership and membership have suffered catastrophic embarrassment.
I implore any of you, use way back machine to search through the earlier pages of the RCG sites, and the massive amounts of material alone on the splinter main site that has been removed just since 2013 (5 years) will SHOCK you. Todays rcg splinter site is a skeleton of material compared to the massive amounts of literature touting economic growth, prophetic understanding, and upcoming developments they believed were pointing to Elul 24 as being the time this prophetic event would come to pass.
Dave Pack has given up on sharing any more information with the splinters and is instead mostly preaching to the members about things that they cant physically retain because so much has changed or it is just utter fluff and nonsense that is filling them with hope and not really giving them much in terms of focused christian growth. NONE OF THE MEMBERS, I REPEAT NON OF THE CURRENT MEMEBER WILL EVER GO BACK AND REVIEW MATERIAL BECAUSE IT IS MISINFORMATION OVERLOAD, IT WILL TAKE TOO MUCH TIME FROM THEIR "LIMITED" TIME.
I also happen to have all the material from rcg inexplicity proving that David C. Pack believe irrefutibaly HWA was ELIJAH.
Dave is using code words to the effect that if people give him all their money, he will let them into the kingdom. It's like the Catholic church selling indulgences in the old days. So according to Dave, you can buy eternal life.
I also was in RCG. Everything said here is true, thankfully, my family and I have finally escaped from their mind control. Many people stay there, because I believe, unfortunately for them, they have given everything, and there is nothing left. I think they know Dave is a fraud, but what can they do now. If they leave they will have nothing, and in their minds they only have the faith left that maybe, just maybe, Dave could be right and they will "get" their salvation if they can only hold out for another 3-5 years.
As I sat there listening to the same repetitious salesmanship for "Common" and the threatened consequence of HELL FIRE for not giving it, Mr. Pack then doubled down, quoting Zechariah 11:11-13 and stating that Christ's statement to the poor of flock; "If you think good, give me my price" was a statement from Christ and that his price is all that you have (Common). I almost couldn't believe what I heard, but then again, Mr. Pack's obsession with money had been building for some time. What started as a "Clarion Call" progressed to how a Small Church Does Big Things. Then came "Common" followed by fundraising. Then the booklet "Some Gave ALL". To cap it all, it was now "Christ's price".
The RCG is not God's church. It is headed by a man that worships the god of mammon. It is therefore the church of mammon.
Well do I remember the countdown to Elul 24, the day nothing happened. Dave and other COGseers fail to see that the "come together" prophecies relate to Israel, not the Mythical True Church. For COGs, BI and dispensational supersessionist replacement theology seem to get in the way.
Hopefully Pastor General David Quack can have a May Day Parade and have his goons walk down his driveway at his "Headquarters" carrying old soviet era type posters of HWA, himself , V.I. Lenin and Josef Stalin to celebrate his new form of "Church Government" Watch out for the nkvd ushers.
It's noteworthy that Dave followed Herbs 'life script.' Herb in the early days of his ministry was humble (or acted so) and used the bible (to a point) as his guide. But when his wife died and the church was larger, he fell away, instituting tyranny and a abusive cult culture. Dave followed Herbs 'bait and switch.' Once he had enough numbers, it was 'common' and 'money, money, money, here I come.'
All together now (from '42nd street' soundtrack):
We're in the money We're in the money We're got what it takes to get along We're in the money
In answer to this comment by Gordon Feil "I have to wonder if there are any people of advanced education with that group. People that have learned to think critically surely see the fallacy there. Dave calls the foolish of the world."
It may surprise you to learn that there actually are many people of advanced education in RCG. There is a HQ minister who has a PHD and JD and another HQ minister who is a geologist. There is also an MD who is a field minister. If you look at the RCG website and the quality of their video productions, you will agree that their is a very high quality of technology skills in evidence. While the majority of members are working class people, not highly educated, there are many individuals who have university degrees and impressive careers. It is quite apparent being foolish is not exclusive to the less educated. Satan can show himself as an angel of light and is more than capable of deceiving the educated as well as the uneducated.

ReplyDeleteDavid C. Pack appeared to get off to a good start with his Restored Church and sounded quite convincing at the beginning. The result was that many sincere but extremely unlucky people joined his Restored Church.
David had taught that the understanding that HWA was the Elijah who had restored all things was a great wall of defence against doctrinal heresy. That book of David's has now been deleted from the RCG's website. Now that David has breached the great wall of defence against doctrinal heresy by claiming to be the Elijah himself with the power to edit/change/delete/restore doctrines, anything can happen.
RCG members cannot even comfort themselves with the thought that as they become destitute under David Pack they are at least supporting the truth as taught by HWA, since David has now replaced HWA's prophetic teachings with his own lengthy “First Dominion” series of prophetic nonsense that totally garbled everything that HWA had taught about the matter.
Some WCG members who did not want to go along with the Tkaches' Great Apostasy of January 1995 are now being torn to pieces by extremely vicious false prophets like David Pack.
As time went on merely being a minister was not enough for David so he promoted himself to the office of apostle, and then Joshua the High Priest, and then Elijah, and even That Prophet of Deuteronomy 18:18-19. David Pack's book called Is 'THAT PROPHET' Alive TODAY? that had previously proved that “JESUS CHRIST OF NAZARETH is 'That Prophet'” also had to disappear from the RCG's website.
You might not know exactly what a demoniac like David C. Pack will come up with in the future, but you can now be certain that it will not be good.
MY GUT TELLS ME THIS GUY PACK IS GOING TO JAIL AT SOME POINT. HE MIGHT JUST GET A PUSH FROM AN INSIDER THAT IS AWARE OF THE SCAM. Sorry about the caps.
ReplyDeleteCommon means S-h-a-r-i-n-g
ReplyDeleteDave NEVER shares [How do you spell "p-a-r-a-s-i-t-e"]
Hey Dave, do you REALLY know what "common" means? Where did you learn the English Language
You should invent another name, Dave, its not "common" what YOU DO
It's the spouses and children who end up paying the price for this nonsense. The relationship gets "sold", once all the money is sent in and the family relationships are broken, one finds out what they are worth in the eyes of the member.
ReplyDeleteFor an upright and honest person with an open mind, a thorough reading of the passage in Acts 5, will show that the mistake/sin of A and S was not the fact that they kept part of their money back but the fact that they lied.
ReplyDeleteSo he says they had $11 million in income? So why are the ministers still not being paid? Why are they still working for someone who clearly doesn't value their time and effort? Is that why the sheep are not being taken care of? Instead of proclaiming he is an apostle, his title should be Pack of Lies.
ReplyDeleteWhat goes around, comes around - especially with Millerites:
ReplyDeleteDallas Morning News, 1993:
"Rick Ross, a cult deprogrammer in Phoenix who has worked with former members of the Branch Davidians, told the Associated Press that "good salaries earned on the outside were plowed back into the sect." Koresh is "very much into money," he said.
...
In a briefing Saturday, a federal agent said investigators found that the people who joined Koresh gave up their personal goods and homes. All of their money went to Koresh."
8:28 "Very Insightful".
ReplyDeleteThought you might get a kick out of this:
ReplyDeleteThis is the last post from David C. Pack after his devastating prophetic failure of all COG reunification under him on Elul 24, 2013
"An enormous and detailed prophecy is now being carried
out by God. He is preparing events to soon bring His people back
together—all of them. It is not my task to convince you the
prophecy is true. God will do that! My job is to systematically lay out
the specifics of what will happen and WHY—good and bad,
pleasant and unpleasant. This is one of my last announcements in this long series covering one of the greatest prophecies in the Bible—the reunification of
God’s people." --- Special Announcement #25 Friday, August 2, 2013
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of David Pack until I came to this site. RCG is just another Armstrong cult hell-bent on destroying it's members lives.
ReplyDeleteI also was in RCG.
ReplyDeleteAs I sat there listening to the same repetitious salesmanship for "Common" and the threatened consequence of HELL FIRE for not giving it, Mr.
ReplyDeleteThe RCG is not God's church. It is headed by a man that worships the god of mammon. It is therefore the church of mammon.
Pack should buy time on TBN...he's fit right in with them....but then again, the others on there might not want the competition.
ReplyDeleteWell do I remember the countdown to Elul 24, the day nothing happened. Dave and other COGseers fail to see that the "come together" prophecies relate to Israel, not the Mythical True Church. For COGs, BI and dispensational supersessionist replacement theology seem to get in the way.
ReplyDeleteHopefully Pastor General David Quack can have a May Day Parade and have his goons walk down his driveway at his "Headquarters" carrying old soviet era type posters of HWA, himself , V.I. Lenin and Josef Stalin to celebrate his new form of "Church Government" Watch out for the nkvd ushers.
ReplyDeleteIt's noteworthy that Dave followed Herbs 'life script.' Herb in the early days of his ministry was humble (or acted so) and used the bible (to a point) as his guide. But when his wife died and the church was larger, he fell away, instituting tyranny and a abusive cult culture. Dave followed Herbs 'bait and switch.' Once he had enough numbers, it was 'common' and 'money, money, money, here I come.'
ReplyDeleteAll together now (from '42nd street' soundtrack):
We're in the money
We're in the money
We're got what it takes to get along
We're in the money

ReplyDelete"I have to wonder if there are any people of advanced education with that group.
