These days, Church of God self-appointed false prophets are a dime a dozen. So many now think they are conduits of secret knowledge from their pissed off little god who is perpetually angry about everyone and everything imaginable.
This is the latest from the sleazy false prophet Wade Cox.
- 2013-2019 "Week of the battles against 'Amaleq"
These years did indeed see the wars of Amalek develop full scale and the Churches of God and the Chosen people will be engaged in pitched battles and conflict both spiritual and physical with those that seek to destroy them.
In 2012 we told the world of the Arab Spring and its spread into the wars which spread from North Africa all over the Middle East.
From the end of this period we expect the wars to develop to the wars of the Fifth and Sixth Trumpet and the sequence build up to the establishment of the Witnesses of God of Revelation 11 for the Fourth Reading of the Law and the return of the Messiah thereafter, and the last great battles of Armageddon or Meggido and the wrath of God.
The Biochemical war of the Fifth Trumpet is developing now in Syria and will explode into the nuclear conflict of the War of the Sixth Trumpet over the last year of the sequence. This war will kill a third of mankind.
- 2020-2026 "Week of standing at Mt. Sinai"
At the coming of the Messiah after the Witnesses between 2020 and 2024 Satan is placed in the Bottomless Pit of Tartaros. His religious system is then destroyed completely and the nations purged of the false religions both in Christianity and Islam.
No priest of the Sun system of Baal and the mother goddess Easter that does not repent will be left alive.
This week is the last period of the consolidation of the saints waiting on the Messiah as they did at Sinai when they spoke to him face to face and they had their leaders appointed over the tribes and the Council of the Elders of Israel were appointed. They were given the law progressively and their leaders were educated over the six months from Abib to Elul, where Moses went up the mountain six times to converse with Christ (see the paper.
In the Seventh month they kept the feast and in this Seventh year the Trumpet is blown for the Atonement of the Sabbath year, and the Jubilee year begins and the restoration of all things is accomplished.
The Treble harvest follows the completion of The Wars of the End and the Vials of the Wrath of God (No. 141A).
In 2028 the Millennium begins and all people are back in their inheritance and the world is run by Christ and the Saints from Jerusalem for the next 1000 years.
2028 begins the Fiftieth or The Golden Jubilee and the Millennium (No. 300) of the millennial system measured from the final restoration under Ezra and Nehemiah. In this period the Temple will be rebuilt by Christ and the structure of Ezekiel will be established at Jerusalem. The Jewish false systems of the Rabbinical Priesthood and their false structures will be eliminated completely and those who say they are Jews but are not will repent and/or be removed. That involves over 90% of the Jewish people. They will be made to acknowledge the Philadelphian Church and the Calendar of God (No. 156) (cf. Rev. 3:9). The Hillel System and the oral traditions will be purged from Israel forever (see Hillel, Babylonian Intercalations and the Temple Calendar (No. 195C)).
We will explain how that will be commenced from the Witnesses in a subsequent series.
The Bible is clear that the only warning given is from the voice of Dan/Ephraim which forms the tribe of Joseph in Revelation chapter 7 (cf. Jer. 4:15-16), (see The Warning of the Last Days No. 044)). Then the warning is by the Two Witnesses for 1260 days.
These things will happen suddenly and God will deal with the earth for man’s sin and unrighteousness. Can you imagine the pure hell of living through WWIII and then be put under the authority of Wade Cox and his little minions?
Who knew at first exposure to the Armstrong false prophecies in 1957 that 1975 would eventually postpone itself beyond our natural life cycles? It was scary to a young boy who thought he’d never be able to live a full and normal life. At this point, though, I doubt if the specter of “the end” is effective in leveraging many baby boomers. We already won. We got to live the lives HWA tried to convince us that we were going to be cheated out of.

ReplyDeleteAgain, we see how each of these people thinks they have the inner connection to the mind of God and they alone can see how prophecy works. And each and every time, history constantly, and more importantly, consistently, proves that each of these men is absolutely and resolutely wrong. Not just a little wrong. Absolutely wrong.
Why anyone ever gives any of these presumptuous people even the time of day with what they are spewing is absolutely beyond me. It's always the same program over and over again.
1. Hey, they might be right this time.
2. Ok, it's almost time!
3. Wait for it......
4. Huh. Okay, nothing happened....
5. Well maybe the timing was off just a bit. Wait for it....
6. What went wrong? Oh. We weren't ready.
7. Work harder to be ready.
8. The NEXT prediction might be right! Because...
9. Go back to one and repeat.
Someone needs to add a little something to the formula to break the loop:
1. Hey, they might be right this time.
1.5 Go to line 10
2. Ok, it's almost time!
3. Wait for it......
4. Huh. Okay, nothing happened....
5. Well maybe the timing was off just a bit. Wait for it....
6. What went wrong? Oh. We weren't ready.
7. Work harder to be ready.
8. The NEXT prediction might be right! Because...
9. Go back to one and repeat.
10. Come to your senses and exit program
11. Exit program
12. Delete program
13. Reformat operating system.
Otherwise, it's just the same old tireless definition of insanity...doing the same thing over and over and over again in a constant loop that does not end. The result NEVER HAPPENS because the FORMULA IS FLAWED. Yet people somehow cannot accept that the Armstrong Formula is flawed, is stale, is obsolete, is incorrect, and will never, ever happen. But that is what history has proved, and that is what will continue to be proven.
Cox is a deluded idiot because he relies too much on the proven liars of the main-steam media.
ReplyDeleteIt doesn’t matter what experts or media these wankers rely on. It’s the Armstrong prophecy mold that’s problematic, and it always renders them null and void. Reality is, they go to any source that seems to support Armstrongism. They’d even quote Mother Jones if they thought it’d strengthen their case.

Who are the two witlesses? Cox and Gerald?
ReplyDeleteArmstrongists ruling the world, would bring the world back to the dark ages or an underdeveloped s--thole.
ReplyDeleteI give the ACOG cults another decade and they will all die out.
ReplyDeleteEndless prophecy speculation keeps the members distracted from the fact that they are learning nothing worthwhile from their church.

ReplyDeleteAnd welcome to the MMM: the Mickey Mouse Millennium!
Where did Christ say He would be?
"The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool?" Matthew 22:44
The last enemy is death, which is not conquered. Another enemy is Satan, who will be in a pit for a temporary 1,000 year period of time, but also not yet totally conquered.
What happens at the end of that MMM? Death is still occurring, and Satan again is allowed to cause deception worldwide.
Rev 20:3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.
:7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
:8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.
Even that "Armageddon" happens on the other side of that MMM!
If "the world is run by Christ and the Saints from Jerusalem for the" MMM, then what a failure Wade Cox' Christ is!
If "the world is run by Christ and the Saints from Jerusalem for the" MMM, then what a failure those "Saints" are!
Wade further states: "These things will happen suddenly and God will deal with the earth for man’s sin and unrighteousness"
Blame/judge man, again! But give Satan and his angels a "pass?" Well, okay, so they go to some pit for 1,000 years. What kind of a "deal" is that?
Thankfully, God's Plan for man and Satan is much more merciful than what Wade Cox has in mind:
Man: "To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation." 2 Cor 5:19; Rev 21:3-4
Satan: "All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt thou be any more." Ezek 28:19; Matt 25:41, 46
However, this will not be reality until after the MMM, plus a short/little time/season, has elapsed.
Time will tell...

ReplyDeleteWhat goes around, comes around. Some observations:
These faux prophets seem to engage in product differentiation. Each seems to market a slightly different prophetic package. No doubt this encourages their followers to believe they have the one and only correct package. It is like a contest among heretics.
We should not underestimate the mark that fear makes on people. An elderly woman who attended the nearby WCG years ago raised numerous children in the WCG. Her children, as adults, migrated away from the WCG yet would periodically check in with their mother for any WCG news. They were afraid they would miss the flight to the Place of Safety and be left behind.
Faux prophet followers can become mesmerized with faux prophecy because of deep psychological needs. They "buy the Brooklyn Bridge" because it is a palliative to their low self-esteem. They believe, broadly smiling and eyes glistening with joy, that they are going to be saved from the Tribulation while you, as a bonus effect, are going to die in a concentration camp. For them, this is vindication and brings their world back into balance - they ascend and you descend as it should be. Their low self-esteem drives them to be ego-centric and heartless for all to see. And nothing is likely to dissuade them from this psychologically nourishing belief.
I have received some mild criticism for drawing a parallel between the Branch Davidians and the Armstrongist fragments. But the parallel is there. You have a strange Millerite leader uttering nonsense and deeply, even insanely devoted followers. And observers like us are left wondering what dangers will eventually ensue. What is the spark that will trigger another disaster, whether violent or non-violent? I do not think this concern is unfounded.
You can be 100% accurate in any Armstrong related prophetic announcement, at the very least, you will know what will not happen on a given date.

ReplyDeleteGreat post, I love the points. Reminds me of high school programming class for basic computer class and listing out all of the steps to make a program work.
I was actually in the church, and basically followed this same logic over and over until, as you said, we went to point 1.5. After listening to Pack for years, thankfully, my family and I came to our senses. I remember the whole 2013 thing all to well. Then Pack naming by name, certain men who had died and would be risen in a physical resurrection. Which if his prophecy had come true, these men would be alive by now. But, point 4 always seems to happen over and over with these "prophets"; which of course, makes them no prophets at all. (Maybe only Profits for themselves.)
Then of course the cycle continues, point 5 and beyond. Yes, it is hard to abort the program, but well worth it. It can be done, just need to use your brain, and yes actually listen to your gut. When you sit and listen to these messages and your mind is refuting the things you are hearing, don't just think, as they like to tell you, that it's only Satan trying to deceive you. No, it's your brain trying to save you!
TEN YEARS!! --- YEAH!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd here all this time I thought it was suppose to be 12 years!
When we get to the "Millennium" do I get my own jet too? (or at least a brand new Buick fleet car?) BTW- I have first dibs on the Czar's gold dinnerware too!
One of the reasons why “Chicken-Little” prophets gain traction is that there is no shortage of bad news which is either based on potential existential threats, or can be magnified into existential threats. We read of the Holocene Extinction, or the melting of Antarctic glaciers from below, or the latest reports on the size of the huge plastic garbage gyres in each of planet Earth’s major oceans. Armstrongists will generally not exploit existential threats such as those, because they aren’t a precise fit with what they have taught as the Armstrong prophecy mold. For some unknown reason, though, they will deny the science of global temperature change, even though increasing intensity of the sun is one of the phenomena outlined in Revelation.
ReplyDeleteArmstrong “prophets” will generally home in on military activities around the world, possible runaway diseases, weather patterns and other natural disasters or cycles that appear to punish, perceived emerging religious ecumenism, incidents that could lead to global economic meltdown, disharmony amongst racial lines, and the metamorphosis of cultures spawned by ease of travel. Those are the recurring themes, the Erector Set parts or Legos used to build and support the Armstrong version of prophecy.
All of these splinter groups have one thing in common. They need a spiritual component which has up until this point been lacking. God has not validated any of them by providing this spiritual component, so they are left vainly fanning flames, not taking into consideration the propensity of mankind to find or negotiate solutions to the huge problems which often confront him. AIDs is no longer a death sentence. There is a well-funded international organization cleaning up the garbage gyres. Our allies may appear to shun us because of the crudeness of our president, but will join us in punishing Syria for gassing its own citizens. And religious ecumenism suffers from the same shinking impact of religion in general around the world. Man averts danger while navigating a collision course. It’s what he does. Some outside event would need to impact our closed system in order to trigger the events which Armstrongism forecasts. This has not happened. The blob of mercury which once was Armstrongism has splintered and dissipated ino negligibility. HWA was once powerful enough that he could credibly make himself appear as the gatekeeper. No leader has emerged in the intervening decades with anything close to that stature. But the band plays on.

But, but, there are horror prophecies in the book of Revelation. A army of 200 million IS mentioned. Many seem to be throwing out the baby with the bath water.
ReplyDeleteIndividuation of concepts appears lacking.
Baby with the bathwater? Nah. You might want yo realize that this is Jewish year 5778. If the extra-biblical teaching about 6000 years for man is true, then we’ve got 222 years to go.
DeleteThe problem is this: Once the tribulation starts, the math in Revelation is specific and kicks in. There just isn’t any math in the Bible to tell us when the tribulation starts. 6,000 years for man is a guess based on the weekly cycle. Instead of going to the Jews as with the rest of the oracles, HWA consulted with Usher for his creation date. And because he told us he was “God’s Apostle” everyone fell for his “hook”.
BB
"Many seem to be throwing out the baby with the bath water."
ReplyDeleteT.K., are you saying that Yeshuhuawa was a baby?
"...punishing Syria for gassing its own citizens."
ReplyDeleteThere is ZERO evidence that Syria gassed anybody. They would be stupid if they did. They were wining the war, and the only thing they would gain by gassing people would be to invite external aggression. The whole thing is a baseless and stupid rush to judgment. The gassing was no doubt done by ISIS.
Ok. So where is your evidence that OSIS did the gassing, 8:31? Evil dictators do bad things to their own people whether they are winning or losing, and that is a matter of vetted history. There are just some “leaders” who rule by fear. The things they have done are often illogical and counterintuitive. Those of us who shared in the Armstrong experience should know that better than anyone. Perhaps you couldn’t see it through your navel observatory.
DeleteBB
BB, the problem is that you can't have the year 5778 and the baggage of Armstrongism. Not only does 5778 invalidate every meaningful detail of the HWA timeline, it removes all sense of urgency that we are now in the last generation and had better send our tithes and offerings to some end-time prophetic nutcase who must "finish the work."
ReplyDeleteYou are right, however, in that many in the ACOGs have now privately latched on to the idea that their HWA framework is sound except that it came about 300 years too early. That way they can keep most of their beliefs and practices intact, and not lose family and friends. As a side-effect this also kills the "we are Philadelphia" attitude in those who want to believe in church eras. As a matter of fact, if we use HWA's framework for church eras, doesn't the modern-day scattering of the tiny, ineffective little ACOG groups look a lot like HWA described Sardis?
How did hwa and the jews come to different calculations of the start of creation? Anyone an explanation to the 300 year difference?
ReplyDeleteNck
Well, we could have a new TV program, nck!
DeleteLIVE!!!! From Hollywood!!!! It’s “Fudging for Bias Confirmation!” Starring that uber rich and cultured apostle, Herbert W. Armstrong! With musical guests Alexander Hislop and the Unwarranted Leaps! And to entertain us with numbers, savant, and mathematician, Irish Archbishop, James Ussher!
Seriously, nck, HWA knew the value of a hook and just latched on and exploited it for all he was worth. This was tailor-made for the WaWa II generation that was raised during the depression, had watched Germany descend into national insanity leading up to and during the war, and was petrified at the prospects of humanity’s first existential threat (bomb).
Who even knew what the Jewish year was for 1956, 1972 or 1975, or how it had been preserved and passed down pretty much the same as we had been told that the sabbath was. In 1975, the internet was still almost two decades away, and the information superhighway to undo Armstrongism was not yet available to anyone seeking that nasty old second opinion before voluntarily succumbing to an additional and very toxic authority structure, lowering expectatuons and accepting a totally useless life.
And, 2:46’s analysis is spot on! Knowing the current Jewish year eliminates all artificial stimuli. Add correct information about a few haplotypes, and freedom appears on the horizon!

ReplyDeleteReally funny how you wrote that.
I thought everyone with a job and an accompanying agenda would have known about the jewish year. Especially the three jewish top consultants of wcg. Therefore I assumed hwa or hoeh had come up with some kind of explanation as to why there would be 300 years in between.
At least I got aware of the difference in a high school first grade project when our christian school discussed the jewish feast days and I entered a colored and animated version of "gods sacred calendar" for the project.
My high school agenda had all the festivities listed upto kwanzaa.
Internet was but a dream for a far away distant unseen future.
nck
At the time HWA had written 1975 in Prophecy, there were no Jewish consultants, nck. In fact during that era, he was regularly stating in his rambling sermons at the F/T that he had never known or met a converted Jew. I don’t believe that Rader was yet on the radar. When Jewish people later became powerful in the WCG, like any other members, they didn’t generally correct HWA.
ReplyDeleteBB
I just found an incredibly long winding article by frank nelte explaining away the missing 200 years. The jews seem to say that it took them 200 years to compile the calendar in persia between the ot and nt.
