Prophet Claims He CANNOT Be Scammed

The world's ONLY end time witness has put up a post on "scams" and how people are unable to scam or con him. As God's only true prophet he has a secret agent whispering in his ear as to what scam to avoid.  Yeah right.

Overall, the nation’s most prevalent scam remains a fake check con, which involves “overpaying” for a product or service and asking the recipient to refund the difference. By the time the victim realizes that the check used for payment was bogus, the con artist has walked away with the consumer’s money…
The top six scams in order:
1. Fake checks
2. Bad Internet sales – products never delivered or misrepresented
3. Sweepstakes/prize/free gift cons that request payment to get your winnings.
4. Advance fee cons that promise a loan or line of credit, if you pay them first.
5. Phishing scams that attempt to get personal information to get access to your accounts, your tax refund or to open credit cards in your name.
6. Recovery/refund cons that promise past victims a recovery of swindled funds in exchange for a fee. http://www.cbsnews.com/news/top-6-us-scams/
Of course, there are also other scams.
Almost arrested, but not arrested Elijah, Elisha, Amos, Joshua, Bob Thiel continues with this:

As far as these six go, a while back someone tried the fake check scam for a business I own. I did not fall for it. The only one in the list that someone has not directly tried to involve me in is number 4 (although I may not have read every loan offer enough to see if that was the case). Otherwise, numbers 3, 5, and 6 are very commonly pushed to me. But other than number 2 (I have made some purchases over the internet that were misrepresented, so took action), I have not fallen for any of the scams.
Sadly, many people are greedy and do not care how they harm others. Scams are based upon lies, theft, and deception. Scammers are, according to what Jesus said, a type of destroyer and murderer:
44 You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it. (John 8:44)
10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. (John 10:10)
The major scam he has forgotten to add to that list is the "One True Church" scam that he and other church leaders are committing. Oh, and the tithing scam too

  1. When someone decides to make a movie about all these idiots, I hope Adam Sandler plays Bob.

  3. Bob Thiel appears to have overlooked the Nigerian scam. A potentially fatal oversight.

  4. Anybody can be scammed. Bob is telegraphing a message to all of those who have raised issues about or are criticizing his African ministry. Probably conducting a foreign-based ministry is the best approach for Bob Thiel. On the other hand, financial scamming is only one possible category out of many. Perhaps the Africans have more to be concerned about than Bob does. It is doubtful that becoming part of CCG would improve their lives in any way.

  5. He was part of the old WCG, GCG, & LCG...he has already been scammed!

  6. Absolutely free! No cost or obligation! No one will call!

It sure worked for HWA. Offering his articles and booklets as downloads deprived Bob of getting snail mail and email addresses, leaving him only Alexa bragging rights...

  7. The more I read about ol' Bob, the more I'm convinced he is genuinely and completely delusional. I don't believe he thinks he's the victim of a scam, I don't believe he thinks he's scamming, I don't think he thinks he's wrong. I think he thinks he is who he thinks he is, and is running on the idea that he really is some sort of biblical giant worthy of the greats of the first century.

I also think that the more people point this out to him, the more he grinds his feet in the dirt, and plugs his ears. I believe he feels any kind of resistance to his message is satanic, and any kind of disagreement to his message is persecution, attack, and evil. He is as all of us at one time, in one degree or another, were. We see that is a shame. He sees that as a compliment.

I honestly think that it would take a divine experience from a divine entity to ever convince him that he has been and is wrong. He has spent his whole life as an Armstrongism Apologist. Of the COG types out there that are on their own personal mission, his type is the worst - because they really believe with all their heart they have some kind of divine backing. This makes them pretty fearless.

If he took one step into some other world then Armstrongism he'd be a lost puppy. True religious scholars, scientists, doctors, philosophers, and theologians would make minced meat out of his sheltered ideas. Which is why, I believe he stays very close to his own comfort zone.

In conclusion, he'll never believe he's scamming. He believes he's right, and that is why, in my opinion, he is the textbook definition of one who is thoroughly and totally - and humanly speaking, irrevocably - deceived.

  8. Well put, 1259.
You reminded me of my brief delusional days when I was the only kid on the block who knew about "The Truth".
Even inside the world of Armstrongism, Bob is like David against Goliath, but without the stones.

  10. I think the leaders of these groups fall into 2 basic groups. The 1st are those who know that what they are pushing onto people is wrong and they do it anyway and the other are the ones who really think they are Gods chosen leader. Neither one would listen if Christ himself came down and tried to explain the real deal to them. The 1st group because of the money and power and the 2nd because of the delusions they have.

  11. Bob sells health foods and dietary supplements. The only proof that he can offer for most of what he promotes in his business is anecdotal evidence, not empirical evidence (scientific facts). He confuses correlation with causation as when he gave a testimonial of a woman who didn't have full range of motion of her arms until she took his supplements. If I can't trust his critical thinking skills, his scholarship in the area of health, how can I accept what he has to say in the area of theology? Anyone in his line of work can't be trusted in his theology.

  12. Bob would never express it quite this way, bit as we all know, he could truthfully say “You can’t con a con!”
