End of the World COMING:
Doomsday prophet claims apocalypse less than ‘ONE YEAR AWAY'
Ron Weinland, our favorite Church of God felon, has caught the eye of the British Press due to his prediction the end of the world will begin in June of 2019. Like all of Weinland's previous asinine utterances, come July 2019 the world will once again see that Weinland is a liar. Weinland has had one embarrassing failure after another since he claimed 2008 was the end of time.
Though the article is brief, it is very apparent that whoever wrote it has been checking out COG blogs related to Ron and his loony family. There is no escaping the Internet any more for these charlatans!
Ronald Weinland is the founder of the Church of God Preparing for the Kingdom of God (COG-PKG).The author of multiple books on the subject of the end of the world, Weinland now claims Judgment Day will come in June 2019.Formerly a minister of the Worldwide Church of God, based in North Carolina, he formed the COG-PKG in 1998.Ever since, Weinland has warned his followers the end times are upon us, telling those who mock him or his church they will be cursed with “a sickness that will eat them from the inside out”. End of the World COMING: Doomsday prophet claims apocalypse less than ‘ONE YEAR AWAY'
Interesting. I bet his followers are all ga ga over a little blurb in a third world island country’s gossip rag.
ReplyDeleteErr Britain third world ?
DeleteAnon 7:24, Great Britain is NOT a third world country, it is one of the greatest super powers on the planet. You idiot!
DeleteChill, Aleister! I was just trolling.
DeleteAwesome, as Ron would say.
ReplyDeleteFor those who might be interested, Ron's false prophet blog has found a new home:
https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/false-prophet-ronald-weinland
I bet many of these splinter leaders believe that their prophesies coming to pass will magically sweep their abuse of church members under the carpet. Contrary to what they believe, the end doesn't justify the means. Their judgment as self professed leaders will be stricter.
ReplyDeleteRon Weinland is the only cog related preacherman who has drawn attention from the regular (international) news/press/professional reporters since about 1995.
ReplyDeletePerhaps indicative of what is of interest about (fringe) religion nowadays.
Usually news holiday starts about mid july with reporting on fringe issues, like "possum found dead".
nck
Ron Weinland was spoken of as: "...The author of multiple books on the subject of the end of the world, Weinland now claims Judgment Day will come in June 2019..."
ReplyDeleteRon is another believer in the MMM (Mickey Mouse Millennium) believing he will soon rule on earth for 1,000 years with Jesus Christ, which of course would make Jesus Christ out to be a liar. All enemies won't be subdued until AFTER Satan is loosed from that pit/prison to successfully deceive the entire earth's inhabitants again:
Revelation 20:7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
:8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.
Where will Jesus Christ and Ron be? Hiding someplace?
How successful will Satan be? Satan has a will too, and changes not:
"And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will." 2 Timothy 2:26
Satan will snare this world as easily as he did Adam and Eve...and Ron Weinland, who can't stop doing the will of his father (John 8:44) of lies.
What is Ron doing putting some "end of the world" into 2019? That's just plain stupid...and another lie! Plus Ron continues to blame/judge human beings instead of the principalities. What a waste of time. It will only continue to cause more senseless whinning!
For Ron Weinland: why not, for a change, consider that an "end time" will occur after Satan with all of his 1,000 years of wrath stored up, is set free centuries ahead of us to mess up this world again? Huh? Oh, that would take believing in some of the words of the Bible! You just can't do it!
You are going to wear yourself out...and you won't live to see the real end-time scenario. Here is Solomon's advice for you:
Eccl 12:12 "And further, by these, my son, be admonished: of making many books there is no end; and much study is a weariness of the flesh."
Follow Daniel's advice: "But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased." Daniel 12:4
Give yourself more rest, stop writing any more books filled with lies...and, in Daniel's words: "shut up!"
Will Ron Whineland take any of this Biblical advice?
If not, then Ron's words will continue to come off to all of us as just a bunch of whinning.
Time will tell...
John
The Star newspaper is not exactly the high brow British newspaper Ron Weinland would wish to be in.
ReplyDeleteI've never understood all the date setting considering the doctrines taught by WCG. Seven thousand year plan, Christ dying in the midst of the week, and as Passion week reveals Christ died near the end of the fourth (middle) day.
ReplyDeleteIf that's the case wouldn't there still be two days left before the seventh day? Two thousand years after Jesus' death would put us around 2030 a.d. wouldn't it? Yet those seeking followers set dates. 1975, 2000, 2019?????
Of course I know why they set dates, they know some people will believe them and follow.
When I said 2030 a.d. that wasn't meant as a setting of a date. Jesus died three hours before the end of the fourth, middle day, how many years would that add to our 2030 calculation? <==== That's a facetious question since setting dates is futile even if we did know God's exact plan.
My point, the WCG taught a seven thousand year plan with Jesus dying at the end of the fourth millenia, with 2,000 more years to go why did Herbie set a date more than 50 years earlier than what he taught would be the end of the 6,000 years?
Answer, this is how he gained followers. The same is being done today by date setters. They're not the dumb ones, the believers are.

"Err Britain third world ?"
ReplyDeleteI guess third world no longer means countries aligned with the allies.
KM
Spoke too soon. I mean countries not aligned during the war.

ReplyDelete“Ever since, Weinland has warned his followers the end times are upon us, telling those who mock him or his church they will be cursed with 'a sickness that will eat them from the inside out'.”
Those who take a false prophet like Ronald Weinland and his prophetic fantasy fiction writing too seriously will be cursed with a drain deep inside their wallets.
Those who mock Ronald McClownland will be blessed with an hysterical laughter from deep inside their belly that will actually be good for their overall health.
Britain is in many ways third world. It has a small army and navy. It does have nuclear weapons, but then so does Pakistan. Today, it couldn't even retake the Falklands as it did in 1982.
ReplyDeleteSo says you anon 10:08.
DeleteAgree with the comment on the Daily Star. It's a tabloid, on the level of the U.S. National Enquirer. Even the Sun and Daily Mirror are a notch above it.
ReplyDelete"Those who mock Ronald McClownland will be blessed with an hysterical laughter from deep inside their belly that will actually be good for their overall health."
ReplyDeleteAmen!
As Hermann Gorring warned, a war between Germany and England would destroy the British Empire. But the mad dog Churchill ignored him.
ReplyDeleteCan anyone comment, what years Ron Weinland went to AC?
ReplyDeleteName sounds familiar.
