Two Witless Witnesses Will Be Here Within 2 Years

Are you ready for the two witless witnesses to arise within the next 2 years?  They are coming this soon, claims the Chief Pharisee and bastardizer of the law, James Malm.  As he begins the new year he is "doubling down" on his own silly interpretations of what he wants the law to be.  The more miserable he can make people the better he feels. He claims his "work" is now of vital importance as it prepares for the two witless witnesses to come forth and take his teachings and force them upon the entire world.  I doubt very much if Ron and Laura Weinland care too much about his legalistic rantings.

In addition I am doubling down on the amount of material being posted with a focus on reviving today’s Spiritual Ekklesia in anticipation of the revealing of God’s two servants.
Very soon now, within a year or two, God’s two  servants will be revealed and they will pour the Holy Spirit out of themselves and into the lamps of the seven churches.
How?  By teaching all people and especially the Spiritual Ekklesia; to turn to, to learn, to love and to live by every Word of the Almighty Father God, and his Christ!
God’s two witnesses will arrive at the darkest hour of the Spiritual Ekklesia, when our pride in our own false traditions has come to the full and we have the highest opinion of ourselves, not seeing ourselves as God sees us.
Then those who are humble before God and have prepared themselves and filled themselves with the Holy Oil of God Spirit through learning, loving and living by every Word of God, will go to God’s refuge for further learning.
Those who will NOT turn to learn, to love and to live by every Word of God now, will be cast into the furnace of affliction, and in their affliction very many will be turned to a wholehearted zeal for godliness.
Then when our LORD comes a great spiritual revival will spread out across all the earth.

  1. Will the Two Witnesses just recycle someone else's old material (Malm's? Thiel's? Flurry's?) or will they write their own new stuff?

For those who are following his shenanigans, LCG's Dr. Doug Winnail has again given us a recycled weekly comment. His message this week is the same as at least three previous weeks (probably a couple more, but who has the time to find them all?) with just a word or two changed in some sentences:

    August 4, 2017

    July 28, 2011

    October 28, 2010

We have all encountered lazy ministers who recycle their 80-minute sermons after their first couple of years in the ministry, but it is ridiculous that the man in charge of LCG's ministers will not write just 200 original words for the brethren each week.

  2. There are a number of credible alternative interpretations of the prophecies regarding the two witnesses and the "place of safety." Many of them don't involve actual individual people in the case of the "witnesses" or a literal geographical location in terms of the "place." Likewise, there are various past, present and future interpretations regarding all of the prophecies included in the book of Revelation.
I remember speculation in times past about the identity of these two witnesses within the Worldwide Church of God. Suffice it to say, Herbert and Garner Ted were definitely NOT the two witnesses (they are both decomposing in their graves). Likewise, the church never got on jets, flew to Petra and camped out there.
As with so many others before me, I'm tempted to offer my own prophecy regarding this matter: Whatever these prophecies mean, I predict that two individuals from the Armstrong Church of God movement will NEVER fulfill the role of the two witnesses, and large numbers of these folks will NEVER set up camp at Petra (or anywhere else in the Middle East). Time will tell which one of us is correct.

  3. Armstrongism, in all its forms, has taught or implied that Armstrongites will be the gatekeepers presiding over the events of the apocalypse of Revelation.

I can certainly understand, with Donald Trump on the rampage, and with warming oceans altering the jetstreams, causing the current Arctic vortex in the northern USA, how Malm and others interpret it all as the end times kicking into high gear. But, I also witnessed this syndrome in action before, back in the ‘60s, when it also looked like life as we had known it simply could not continue to go on.

Back then, we had hippies, drugs, Nixon, a war we had lost the will to win, gasoline shortages, the slide of the US dollar and ensuing divorce from the gold standard, the obsoleting of the traditional family, and a plethora of other “indicators” which we were programmed to believe made the end inevitable. Then, suddenly we were back on the upswing, and entered an unparalleled expansion of the economy, and a technology explosion that has ensured the US global supremacy for the past four decades.

If I had one complaint about the present maelstrom, it would be that the one from the ‘60s and early ‘70s produced incredible rock n roll as its sound track. All we’re getting in the present is an onslaught of lame and insipid pop, of course with the notable exception of Greta Van Fleet!

  4. Malm writes:" Very soon now, within a year or two, God’s two servants will be revealed "

What he left out was "or three or four, one hundred , or one Thousand years God's two servants will be revealed".

Malm will always have to have some kind of weasel clause and exit strategy with plausible deniability, as will Flurry , Pack, Weinland, Thiel et al.

  5. Let’s not forget Rod Meredith, with his “we might only have 2 or 3 years left.” Let’s not forget that he encouraged members to take out equity loans, send in retirement savings, liquidity 401k, and even sell their homes for the end time work that needed to be done. However I don’t know of a single minister that took out an equity loan or sold their homes for the “work.” I am still waiting for that end time message that will “shake the world.”

  6. Malm writes about church members as if they are children who will suddenly see the light. It's not the way people are, or the world works. For most members, time has run out due to old age alone. This is because it takes time to acquire Christian traits, in the same way that it takes time to learn a sport or musical instrument.

  7. @ 4:59 AM, does Doug remember how Carl McNair communicated with LCG members? He would often hold live interactive chat room sessions, where ministers and even brethren could ask him questions about what he and LCG were doing. He was much more open in his communication than Charles Bryce or Doug Winnail could ever be. Carl McNair could preach prophecy, and he wasn't above correcting Rod Meredith when he went off the track (as when he pushed for some kind of New Moons observance). However, he set himself apart from most ministers by his willingness to reach out to the "little people" with answers and with help when they needed it. He wasn't perfect, but by ACOG standards he was remarkable.

  8. I don't know about what you all have been predicting with your potty mouths for the past decades.

But just to let you know....................................................

As of today, Hell (Michigan) has in fact and actually "frozen over."

    1. Glad you mentioned Hell freezing over, nck. In fact these horrible anomalies with the weather patterns are going to keep on happening until everyone realizes that global climate change is real!

Know how we get frustrated when ACOG members can’t understand basic dna? (They’re not alone; Juries in court cases sometimes struggle with it as well). Well, the president and Rush Limbaugh, and the alt.right don’t understand basic climatology. When the Arctic vortex violated its traditional boundaries last week because the warming oceans have altered the jetstreams which “cause” the weather, this completely went over his head, and he actually cracked jokes about global warming!

Bad politics and bad religion are cut from the same cloth. Some day, hopefully we will be free from both.

  9. Anon 4:59 AM discussed Doug Winnail's virtually "unthinking" recycled, regurgitated, missives? And I ask: what, again?

With Doug nourished with the milk of babes, lots of spiritual junk food and virtually no strong meat, what else can be expected? "Nothing new under the sun" type of deal!
Why can't Doug repent and change? Lack if God's Spirit? God knows!
    What is happening with Doug?
    Doug advises us to:

    1. “lean not on your own understanding,”
    2. “Do not be wise in your own eyes,” 3. “He who trusts in his [or her] own heart is a fool…”
    4. “There is a way that seems right to a man [or to a woman], but its end is the way of death.”
    5. “Where there is no counsel, the people fall; but in a multitude of counselors there is safety”
    6. “Without counsel, plans go awry, but in the multitude of counselors they are established.”

I suggest: Doug is wise in his own eyes, leans to his own understanding, trusts his own heart to recycle, b/c ou t all seems right for the mammon he receives.
Does Doug want wise counsel? Here us Doug's wisdom, who further writes:

"...We can obtain wise counsel from parents, the ministry, and from older, more experienced friends, relatives and associates who can be objective and help us see a bigger picture than we perceive on our own. Seeking wise counsel is a habit we can develop that will help us succeed and avoid making serious mistakes."

No mention of God in that grouping!

Yet, Doug did quite 2 verses about counsel and multitude of counsel.

Yes, seek God's counsel, over and over again. If God does not help you/us, then what will anyone else do?

Yes, God has "hands off" for most while we live in the tribulations under the God of this present evil world of wickedness, but change has been promised, but not when we want it. Faith to every man (Romans 12:3, 6) has also been promised, but not when we want it.
Doug, like so many hirelings who fled former WCG leaving ministerial credentials behind, is blind and stuck in pre-16 Jan 1986 mode, and it is so obvious for all to see and read in the missives striving to make people think their "works" will earn them a right into the K/G...if they qualify by meeting all of those requirements, prerequisites ("strings attached").
Doug only has the same milk, and spiritual junk food (from that god pretending to be God).
When will Doug stop vomiting up the same-old stuff, receive multitude of counsel from The God, the Father, via the Holy Spirit and give us some strong spiritual meat for a change?

    Time will tell...

    John

  10. Seeking "wise counsel" is a trap. It invited meddling, and lording over in ones life.
When I started attending services, I made the mistake of asking for minister advice. The "counsel" was always one of the church crazies being the master race, with ordinary members being their slaves. The ministers gaol is one of creating a paradise for crooks. That's the vision that drives them.

Avoid asking for "advice." Independence is a virtue.
