Can there be any creature more demonized in Armstrongism than Satan? That bad boy is constantly being blamed for all kinds of tricky little things meant to stop all the amazing "works" going on in various COG's today. Despite the fact that none of them are amazing or doing anything worthwhile, they still feel the need to let their followers know that Satan is constantly on the warpath against them.
A few days ago, on Twitter, those eternally persecuted folk at PCG posted this:
As if...!
Dave Pack- ElijahHood
ReplyDeleteUnlike Robin Hood, Davey robs from the poor and gives the righteous name of Elijah a bad reputation!
Some people are not sufficiently advanced to deal with the challenges which come with the computer age. Glitches, crashes, viruses, hacking, and corrupted files are all well-known parts of computer ownership and usage. It’s not surprising that students at an Armstrongism-based college would escalate such events into the supernatural. At other colleges and universities? They simply call IT.

ReplyDeleteBB, They call it IT in PCG as well but define it as I-nterdimentional T-rickery
ReplyDeleteMust be great fun on performance reviews- no boss, I did great- the devil caused all the problems.
ReplyDeleteEven back when I was in, this "Demon under every rock" mentality annoyed me. No, you did not get fired because of an attack by Satan, you got fired because you were not that reliable.

ReplyDelete“Satan Attacks the Philadelphia Church of God...Again”
Sounds like another one of those “false flag” attacks. Remember that Satan founded the PCG to use for his own diabolical purposes.
