RCG: Whenever 10 or more are gathered....

except when you are an RCG member...


One thing the Restored Church of God has always been good at is controlling members' lives. The RCG has now told its few remaining followers that during this coronavirus pandemic if they gather together with friends on social media and 10 or more are present then a minister must be involved.

God forbid if they ever discussed the Bible amongst themselves! After all, church members are too stupid to understand the Bible so Dave or a minister must tell them what to believe.

    Your baseball or basketball team may play against non-RCG teams, but if two RCG teams play against each other there needs to be at least one minister on one of the teams.

    If you and your wife are taking care of her aging parents, and you have your sixth child, they had better ordain you as a minister, or else you won't be able to talk at the dinner table.

    If a small group can't meet "in decency and order" without a minister present, it seems like the ministry hasn't done much to help the members mature after all these years. How immature are these members that they can't meet without "adult" mature supervision?

    Do babies count? What if there are nine adults, and one baby? Does the baby count? At what age do children count? I am not sure what to do, should I council with a minister?

    If we are talking about working in favor of Dave's rules, everything counts! That includes if your wife is pregnant, and any dogs or cats you might have around the house. Are you a farmer with livestock??? Forget about it! You owe your freedom and your soul to the ministry permanently!
