Forget COVID-19 and the soon coming German armies that will put people in concentration camps. That's just baby pablum! Cannibal rats are the new way to go.
Instead of the Germans killing babies in camps, rats will be eating the sinful children of the British Israelite nations alive.
Cannibal Rats Emerging in Cities: It appears that the COVID-19 pandemic has affected more than just people and the economy. New research by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is warning of “‘unusual or aggressive’ behavior in American rats as a consequence of more than two months of human lockdown” (The Guardian, May 25, 2020). Urban rats that normally feed on food waste from restaurants and trash in the streets no longer have these food sources available to rely on.
Many rats have recently been observed feeding on each other or their own young. The Washington Post reports that unusually aggressive behaviors have been noticed in New York, New Orleans, and Chicago. The hungry rats are beginning to plague cars, as they consume engine components, tires, and wire casings, causing fires and costing car owners large sums of money in repairs or replacement (May 23, 2020). The Post also notes, “Rats can transmit food-borne illnesses such as salmonella, and their urine can also worsen allergies and asthma.” Rats can also directly transmit more deadly diseases like hantavirus, hemorrhagic fever, plague, and tularemia, as well as transmit many other diseases indirectly, through fleas and ticks.
God warned the Israelite-descended nations that, because of their sins and disobedience, He would use not only other nations to punish them, but also disease and beasts of the earth (Leviticus 26:14–16, 21–25; Jeremiah 15:3–4). So far, we are not witnessing a rat infestation of “biblical proportions.” However, we can see from what is happening how such a plague could easily arise in major cities around the globe, as a result of the removal of regular food sources of these rodents. To learn more about this important subject, see “Understanding the Coming Plagues of Prophecy.”—Scott Winnail and Francine Prater
ReplyDeleteGerald Flurry and David Pack are the real cannibal rats.
What would be really cool? Rats attacking Pack and Flurry with Michael Jackson's "Ben" playing in the background
ReplyDeleteHmm, I love a bit of prophecy porn in the morning.
ReplyDeleteIf the rats have cut cable radio in my car, how am I to listen to Garner Ted in my truck?
nck
Simple answer... expand the cat population! Problem solved!
ReplyDeleteI dont know, about a decade ago I was living in a house near a produce warehouse, and a rat got in and trapped himself in a bowl.
DeleteI gleefully woke our two cats to show them the live rat before I put it outside.
The little shits glanced at it, yawned and went back to sleep. :)
While many would find this droll and a springboard for black humor, it is important to understand that Armstrongists really believe this. They cannot be joked out of this viewpoint. And they earnestly and with some satisfaction believe we detractors are all going to die in the Tribulation as a reward for our derision while they are happily eating manna and at the Place of Safety.
ReplyDeleteMillerite David Koresh believed that he should impregnate all the women in the congregation including teen girls. But these were not just sexual escapades. This was founded on Koresh's reading of the Bible. Can you imagine the fear and dread that Branch Davidians felt that would lead them to this kind of capitulation to fake Bible prophecy. James Tabor's assessment of the Branch Davidians was that they were a community immersed in the Old Testament prophets. Tabor wrote further:
"I realized that in order to deal with David Koresh, and to have any chance for a peaceful resolution of the Waco situation, one would have to understand and make use of these biblical texts."
Ex-Armstrongists, of all people, know something about the use of fear to manipulate and to ensure obedience. But we escapees are now outside observers. For those still on the inside, this carefully managed reportage is the most serious stuff in the world. And it effectively drowns out our voices.

Anything to remotely connect to some prophecy. I remember the drawing in "1975 in Prophecy" with a carnivorous human chasing a rat, labeled "a prize catch".

ReplyDeleteSome people do not think that ROUSes (Rodents Of Unusual Size) exist, until they get attacked by one of them.
So, our local supermarket chain is attacking us? What a dumb comment.

What will become of Dave Pack if the Wadsworth Giant Eagle becomes infested with rats?

I increasingly hear COG members accuse the Mass Media of "promoting fear."
ReplyDeleteShame on the Mass Media. They should leave that to the preachers.
I guess it would only take a move to the countryside to evade God's punishment. In case the rats would depart the cities for the country dwellers, ownership of a couple of Rat Terriers and perhaps a mink to go along with a rifle and well stocked ammo, the rats wouldn't get far and a lot of fun could be had.
ReplyDeleteThe plague warning for major cities that this article puts forth is a call for repentance of; living in a major city?
It's very sad that Scott Winnail would waste people's time with fear-mongering and baseless conjecture about ROUS when his church needs to learn about Jesus as Savior. COG ministers go to great length to divert from the simple Gospel of God loving people so much, he gave Jesus to be their atonement and Savior.
ReplyDeleteWhere will worrying about Winnail's rats get anyone? LCG members are dropping dead almost daily, with very little knowledge of Jesus and don't accept Jesus as their 100% Savior. Meanwhile, Winnail is wasting these members' last days on his rat screed.
Preaching about rats is where it's at for Winnail's powerless LCG while the cross of Christ is just foolishness to the perishing LCG.
1 Corinthians 1:18
For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God
No WATT
ReplyDeleteThe specific prophecy is against owning cars in urban areas and therefore a p(f)lea for public transportation.
This time the LA car lobby sponsored by Ford might not win.

What has happened to Scott Winnail? When he was first sent to LCG HQ, he told his close friends that he was disgusted with Rod Meredith's fear-mongering approach and with Meredith's habit of using shallow understandings or even distortions of the facts to make his points.
ReplyDeleteI would say, "Doctor, heal thyself" except that it seems resistance is futile. Welcome, Scott of Borg.
Scott Winnail has a very twisted thought process. He starts with something that is noted in the news, which is rats starving and turning to cannibalism. Both the starvation and the cannibalism result in fewer rats. Then his thinking misfires into rat population explosion, in the quote above “ So far, we are not witnessing a rat infestation of “biblical proportions.”
ReplyDeleteAfter 80 years of Armstrongism making very specific false prophecies about famine, drought, pestilence, and plagues - with specific time frames for occurring - you can be sure Winnail’s new publication is a waste of time attempt to scare the bamboozled members. The public will ignore it. Better to beware of the rats of LCG
My dog would be in 7th heaven, she absolutely loves the chase and killing of rats. She's a border collie/aussie mix and she's very good at letting me know when one is in the barn.
ReplyDeleteI wanted to learn more about LCG's gospel about rats so I followed the link above: “Understanding the Coming Plagues of Prophecy” and it took me to a rat-less article written by Wyatt Ciesielka.
ReplyDeleteDid LCG remove Winnail's rat prophecy?
Perhaps the public is too heathen to handle LCG's advanced spiritual understanding of the rat gospel so they are reserving it exclusively for members?
What happened to “the German’s are coming, the Germans are coming!?”
ReplyDeleteDoes the LCG membership even bother to ask what happened to that doctrine?
Calling out nasty cannibal German’s was more palatable back in the early days of HWA, but perhaps it’s too politically incorrect now.
Maybe too many Germans have grown soft and round to arouse fear in the ACOG masses.
The Germans are coming is somewhat like shouting, “The Pilsbury Doughboy is coming; run for your lives” – as he utters his poke-evoked giggle on a loop.
Scott’s new understanding of scape-rats can get that fear flowing and no one will speak up to defend the rats!
LCG members are you happy about sending your tithes in to pay Scott’s salary to write nonsense like this?
"Understanding the Coming Plagues of Prophecy"?
ReplyDeleteLCG finally admits that their prophecies are a plague? This is progress!
If LCG ‘s vison of the trib. is at all correct, there’s no need to worry about the poor rats starving and eating each other. The LCG teaching includes numerous dead human bodies the rats can feast on – which makes fat and happy rats. Much of the world has made a meal from a fat rat. However, if you feel that thoroughly cooking your fat rat may not kill all the diseases, you could wait for a cat to pre-digest your rat and then opt for a feline bar-b-que. Plenty of food for all!
ReplyDeleteScott Winnail can find the time and nerve to preach about rats but has never preached about grace or justification. This is because Scott is alienated from Jesus:
ReplyDeleteGalatians 5:4
You who are trying to be justified by the law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace.
What does Scott's church need to learn more about? Rats or grace?
LCG members - you need to seek solid teaching on all those biblical concepts that your leaders reject.
You can do simple searches on biblegateway.com and come up with many verses your church will not discuss.
Your leaders care more about teachings on rats than they do about grace.
Ephesians 2:8-9 says you are saved by grace.
Why is that not interesting to you and worthy of further study?
Why do you follow blind ministers who don't care or know enough to preach about how you can be saved?
Joseph Tkach sr gave 50.000 dollars or more to a member of the Rat Pack.

The plagues of prophecy? Rats? Yeah, they’re already there! They are called Churches of God and Pack, Flurry etc ........
ReplyDeleteScott Winnail's credibility and career really jumped the shark – or rat, with this article.
ReplyDeleteDoes the LCG membership think this is the stuff that God is inspiring Winnail to write for his true church?
Are there any members who have enough free thought left to finally admit that God has nothing to do with what Winnail is manufacturing?
I just saw a similar rat article in "The Guardian". Its a hot topic in Britain. The Brits seem to like their dose of gore (and suspense) at the apropriate times.
