Last week Sheldon Monson announced the new name of his splinter group, Church of God Assembly.
Sheldon or one of his followers did not do due diligence and research the name. There is already a church named that, based out of Middlesex/London, England, and pastored by Abigal Borquaye.
Soon after Monson mentioned his new church name, two different sites popped up on the internet. If these are actually pages for Sheldon's group then they need to steal some web designers from Living Church of God! Talk about pathetic!
I took screenshots of each page just in case they disappear soon.
This is the main site screenshot (double click to enlarge) or go to the main site here: Church of God Assembly
We know almost for sure that the site is fake. Imagine a Church of God using a WOMAN on its front page, particularly one holding a Bible! Blasphemy!!!!
The next page includes updates on this most amazing work:
Then, the best site of all is the Facebook page. It looks like a QAnon site:
Did Bob Thiel design their site?
ReplyDeleteNot quite sure what to make of that overall design and photo choices.
ReplyDeleteJust checked in here and I'm wondering, "Where is Byker Bob?"
ReplyDeleteHas he flown the coop? I hope he's ok.
Otherwise, it's great to see things still going well here!
(With new and old participants)
I'm pretty sure the new site is a fake or a troll. That logo is already in use by the Avengers of Marvel Comics.
ReplyDeleteAvengers logo
Is Sheldon thinking he can use this because he's a religious non-profit. He can't be so naive. If he tries to use the Marvel Comics logo, his people's tithe money will quickly get eaten up by legal expenses after the Marvel Comics legal department descends upon his thieving, commandment-breaking, new church.
11:30 "Just checked in here and I'm wondering, "Where is Byker Bob?" Has he flown the coop? I hope he's ok."
ReplyDeleteBB is doing just fine. Spoke with him a while back. He is taking a breather from Armstrongism.
FIrst impressions...
ReplyDeleteThe "A" symbol looks like it would make a great logo for ANTIFA.
The shield symbol looks like some kind of medal that a military third world dictator would have on his uniform chest.
The picture with the Bible and the plant is a curious one!
ReplyDeleteCant tell if the person holding those items is either a guy or a gal. Its kind of "gender neutral" me thinks!
I’m masking my surprise at this low end attempt at a website.
ReplyDeleteAre you sure that’s a woman in the picture holding a Bible? Looks more like one of the “male” LCG’s employees from Charlotte. So many of the are so soft.
ReplyDeleteAre you sure that’s a woman in the picture holding a Bible? Looks more like one of the “male” LCG’s employees from Charlotte.
ReplyDeleteThe person in the photo obviously spends less time than Rod McNair in getting her hair perfect. She has an assertive pose that would get any of the HQ milquetoasts counseled for "bad attitude." Finally, she is promoting "love" and "stability" which LCG neither promotes nor experiences. No, that can't be an LCG HQ employee, no sir!
Laugh. It's a joke! Like the acog's. A fucking joke!
ReplyDeleteWho would be more boring/sleep-inducing: Abigal Borquaye or Sheldon Monsoon?
ReplyDeleteThere is no debate on that, it would be Monson as the most boring speaker. Abigal is a Christain, Monson is debatable.
ReplyDelete"The first COG to not use a lion and lamb, a picture of Herbert Armstrong, or the Ambassador Auditorium in their logo."
ReplyDeleteHave you seen CGI's logo?
Agreement with the first comment. When I first saw that layout, I wondered if they copied the HTML from one of Dr. Thiel's pages.
ReplyDeleteBut then, a lot of websites "borrow" each other's designs anymore. It's true with newspapers, for example.
Sheldon Monson is a product of Ambassador College. Don't expect too much from him in the way he leads or doesn't lead his congregation. He will most likely retain the COG's pagan hierarchy. A reply from him after he started his Youtube services indicated he "didn't have time" to answer Emails. That tells it all. Uppty and aloof is what one can expect from him in the future. Just like all the other corporate COGs! They are dying and will continue to die as time goes on.
ReplyDeleteCan someone tell me how many black members overall are in the various churches of God.
ReplyDeleteIt seems blacks have deserted these churches and rightly so.
All these churches Mormon, Worldwide Church of God, Jehovah's Witnesses, Seventh Day Adventist were all started by old white men who wanted to make a name for themselves.
Blacks in Africa have been observing the Sabbath long before these people who claim that they have the "truth".
They were all birthed in racism. Blacks have come to see the light.
"Blacks in Africa have been observing the Sabbath long before these people who claim that they have the "truth"."
ReplyDeleteProof please.
4:22am Why are you so racist?
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of QAnon, and also just cult exit, this is an indepth look at tactics used, etc. It may be too intense in parts, for here, but the part about gaming and the last part on cult damage, was very interesting and seemed accurate. They try not to be political...
ReplyDeleteIf the blog author doesn't feel this comment belongs here, I hope will at least take a look, and post or not... some of the info in the video could be topics for this blog
