Restored Church of God: Bradford Schleifer

Bradford Schleifer

Surely, David C. Pack is beyond hope and completely overwhelmed by his grand delusions. But what about the men under him? Why do they stay?

Perhaps it's time to share our collective experience of the key people surrounding and giving power to David C. Pack. The highest-ranking is "Evangelist" Bradford Schleifer.

What would you say to somebody who is approaching 20 years serving Dave Pack? Though he may not admit it, he will read every comment. What would you say if you had his ear? Try to save him? Scold him? Rail at him? Share your feelings below.

  1. "Evangelist" Bradford Schleifer, in order to achieve such a position with Pack, had to really live up to his "initials"!

  2. "If the prophet speaks in the Lord’s name but his prediction does not happen or come true, you will know that the Lord did not give that message. That prophet has spoken without my authority and need not be feared." Deuteronomy 18:22

You are following a false prophet, ignoring the clear statement of scripture, and encouraging others to do the same.

"Jesus said to His disciples, “It is inevitable that stumbling blocks will come, but woe to the one through whom they come! It would be better for him to have a millstone hung around his neck and to be thrown into the sea than to cause one of these little ones to stumble." Luke 17:1-2

Actually, when Pack finally cracks, his most vicious attacks, maybe even violent, will be against those closest to him who have been his primary narcissistic sources but are no longer able to comply as his grip on reality becomes weaker and weaker. Lesser men in the Pack hierarchy may be able to recover from Dave's inevitable eventual fall, but the odds are great that Brad Schleifer will go down with the Pack ship, whether his ruin is emotional, fiscal, or involves life itself.

  9. I'd love to hear what Brad Shleifer and all the other RCG ministers have to say about Dave shafting the church widows out of their life savings with his Common doctrine. I'd be surprised if this question is not raised on judgment day.

  11. Stop lying and covering things up for ‘the church’ and Dave!

I have an email from Bradford in which he is trying to cover up all the wrongdoings and misbehavior from one of the ‘lesser’ RCG field ministers. This minister assaulted and harmed some (young) women in his congregation, and when my family and I tried to bring this to the attention of Headquarters, like Mr. Pack told us to do, our emails about it ended up on Bradford’s desk.

After that we received an email from ‘Brat Boy’ saying he investigated it and had found nothing wrong with that minister. That was a lie, because Bradford never talked to the women, never asked them about what this minister did.

This minister of course is still there and when we tried to explain to Brat Boy that him covering up and lying for this minister wasn’t right, we were told by Bradford that we would be kicked out if we didn’t stop talking about what happened with the other minister. His statement: “... There was no wrongdoing ... the women are lying and we have removed them from the Body of Christ ...”

Bradford Schleifer stays because he is as bad as David Pack. Always lying and cheating and always looking down on the lay members. Bradford Schleifer is Dave’s evil wingman

  12. Brad, you should be ashamed of yourself.

  13. There's not much wrong with Dave's church. Everything would be just fine if it was renamed the Restored Church of Pack, and a Christian defined as one who follows Pack. It's already that in substance anyway.

  14. Shame on you, Bradford Schleifer.

    A little money now.

    Everlasting shame later.

  15. You are a despicable human being Bradford. You KNOW what Pack is doing. How he talks the RCG members out of money and out of their homes. How he destroys families. You KNOW how Pack is holding them hostage with fear about the lake of fire.

And yet you do nothing to help them. Instead you facilitate David Pack. You kneel before him, instead of before God.

Can you look at yourself in the mirror? Can you live with yourself Bradford, knowing that you are willingly destroying people’s lives? Do you know what God will do with people like you in the end?

  16. Bradford Schleifer gave permission to our minister to yell at my poor fragile mother and bully her. She was in tears because of it. And neither Mr. Schleifer or our minister ever apologized for what they did.

You should be ashamed of yourself Mr. Schleifer! You look such a nice person, but we know better!

  17. Brad, you need to take a day to fast and listen to Mr. Pack's "30 Reasons to Love the Truth" sermon. If you aren't packing your bags or at least setting up job interviews for yourself after listening to that message.....you are as deceived as Pack is!!

You are talented and could make a very good living away from RCG where healing can begin.
Then you can truly be free to obey God and not a deceived false apostle!!

Of course, you are very valuable to Pack and he will use any means at his disposal (one of the new homes for the elite ministry as well as being raised in rank to Evangelist..) to keep you trapped on the compound and loyal to him.

What kind of man are you? Do you really want your legacy to be tied to a man who has lost his way and continues to build an ever changing, never ending prophecy out of his own delusions???? You have been there too long to think you are not part of the campaign to make merchandise of the brethren!!! How can you look in the mirror and not see what kind of man you have become under Pack???

May God help you to repent of serving this madman and take your family out of that evil cult!!

    1. @Tonto, This is 11:42.

I know that one the women went to the local police and tried to report it. But it was her word against that of the minister, and he was backed up by Bradford Schleifer.. She was alone with that minister when it happened, no witnesses. And the RCG’s response was that ‘she had been troubled for some time’. The police bought it. There was no evidence. Case closed. These ministers know that they can get away with anything. I believe her, and the other woman that had a similar experience with that minister.

I would reveal my name if I could. But I know, that the second I do my family in the RCG will get punished for it immediately.

    3. I am sorry Anon6:58, but no. I have learned the hard way that if you ask too many questions, or try to talk about ‘mishaps’ in the RCG to the ministers, you are in big trouble.

My family is still in the RCG, so are some dear friends. Some of them tried to help these women by pointing out what was going on in that congregation with that minister and because of that they were suspended and told to ‘look at themselves and repent’..

One of the women got harassed by Bradford Schleifer & Co to the point that she left the RCG herself, the other woman was kicked out as an example.

That was also the message to any brethren that tried to help these women: keep your mouths shut or else..

The RCG is nothing more than an abusive cult.

  19. Dear "reader" since you are willing to publicly call for people to comment on their experiences with Brad, can you publicly post your name, so we can comment on our experiences with you, too? Because for you to call for this commentary we can assume that you don't agree with Mr. Pack's belief that you shouldn't answer your accusers.

@ anon 11:42 I sincerely apologize if what you state actually happened. I hope that these women are given the resources they need to heal - in all the ways healing is needed in such a case. I am in no way implying that you or them are lying, I just simply don't have any facts in the particular case referenced.

However, you should know that just because a person's name is on an email that comes from RCG HQ doesn't mean that they wrote it of their own volition. Most such emails are actually dictated either word for word, or at least in the tone and direction in which they are supposed to go, by DCP!

@ anon 7:42 I am also sincerely sorry to hear that your mother was yelled at by ANY minister, but if your minister was given "permission"-it is more likely that DCP is the one who gave the order. DCP does not like the idea of "disorder/disruption" in The Church. He doesn't take time to gather facts, hear both sides and come to clear conclusion. He comes to his own conclusions, and just believes them to be true.

I am not saying that ministers don't have any responsibility for the actions they have taken, but you should be aware of fuller facts before you judge on just what you see on the surface. DCP describes HQ as a pressure cooker, tells you that you are a profitable servant ONLY if you go above and beyond every day. He "jokes" before every event that the "righteous Christians" will be on time. There were times the staff was "given the day off" but had to attend a mandatory "cook-out." So, the environment is one of fear/worry/stress and those at the top are yelled at with curses on a regular basis.

And before you think I am just "guessing" that DCP is behind minister's actions and conversations, I have witnessed it first hand in many ways!

Why do ministers come and say these terrible things to lay-members? Because they are threatened with their jobs, their salvation and ridiculed in the process. Because in DCP's mind if the ministers were doing their job, then he wouldn't have been the one to notice the "issue" because it would have already been addressed.

As each person leaves they need to come to their own place of healing - and deep/heart-wrenching repentance, particularly in the case of those who were in leadership and who ended up doing things that caused a lot of damage-sometimes irreversible damage. I just hope that as they are faced with the realities of those terrible choices that as mentioned by @ anon 8:15 that it doesn't end in the loss of life.

What would I say to any minister of RCG past or present?

If people are saying they have been hurt because of things you have said/done, take the time to listen, the time to read, and consider the truth therein...they deserve that respect

If you know of specific examples of people who were hurt by things you said or did...Reach out, say you're sorry

If you know you probably hurt people, but you don't know exactly how...Reach out

If you need a shoulder to cry on...Reach out

If you need someone to just talk to, and pour out your mix of emotions to...Reach out

If you need help to leave or to heal...Reach out

Reach out to Family, to Friends, and to God

  20. Isn’t the first task a minister has to look after his flock?
Look at the elephant in the room Mr. Shleifer. I asked you that before.. Do you take care of the flock? Or do you only serve yourself and your greedy boss?

  21. To Bradford and any RCG Ministers:

Don't ANY of you sense that Dave has a spirit problem? Multiple incidents, the past suicides, and eyewitness accounts of people in his presence in HQ? Just one incident i was told of him foaming at the mouth? Look how he treats those who work for him!

Is that what a Man of God does?

Can't you tell?? A lot of us ordinary members can!!!

  23. 12:54 A woman should NEVER be alone with a male non spouse or child, ESPECIALLY a minister.

In fact, it goes against all ethical procedural protocols for a minister to be alone with a female, or with a child. If such a meeting is absolutely necessary to take place, then it should occur in a public place , like a Starbucks, or with the ministers wife in accompaniment at all times.

This protects both the congregant AND the minister as well.

Agreed Tonto. Yet it happens. And more often then you think. Some RCG field ministers are real perverts.. I know about the case 11:42 is talking about. It happened last year and the minister is a single guy that preys on the women in his congregation. And Bradford covers him.

      That’s the RCG for you..

  25. @ Tonto, RCG ministers are taught those rules. They are always to counsel or meet in public places if they are unmarried and need to counsel individually, otherwise they are to have their spouse or a second minister there.

  26. Are you defending Bradford, Anon 10:44AM?

Who are you? Bradford himself, pointing fingers at Dave in order to avoid any responsibiity for your actions? Or are you maybe Bradford's wife, coming to the rescue? Telling us what a tough job your poor husband has? Which reminds me.. isn't Brad's wife a minister's daughter? So she is used to being at the center of the power and knows how the game is played.

"I am not saying that ministers don't have any responsibility for the actions they have taken, but you should be aware of fuller facts before you judge on just what you see on the surface". Really? Is that what you think?

And I am saying that ministers should have ALL the facts before judging brethren and destroying their lives! Instead mini-me Gods like Bradford only cater to their own needs.

  28. Would you buy a used car from a RCG minister?

Why is an RCG minister selling a used car? Shouldn't he be donating it to Dave as "common"? Something is very fishy about this. Don't buy that car!

  31. "Why do ministers come and say those terrible things to lay-members? Because they are threatened with their jobs, their salvation and ridiculed in the process."

Dave cannot threaten anyone's salvation since a person's salvation is between them and God. But morally compromising because of the threat of a job loss is a no no. It amounts to putting something or someone before God. Christians are constantly persecuted to make them compromise in the eg, workplace, but a committed Christian does not budge. Many Christians constantly put their jobs on the line every time they take off time for the FOT or similar. Yet we are expected to be sympathetic to a minister that morally comprises to a tyrant. At least, I don't.

    ReplyDelete
  32. @11:58 Sorry, not Brad or his wife. I am not defending his actions by saying they are good or right---by a LONG SHOT! I 100% agree with you that ministers SHOULD have ALL the facts before judging and destroying lives!

I'm just sharing that they are not given the facts, they are given orders and instructions on what to do and sometimes even what to say. And, there are a myriad of reasons why they feel like they need to obey the orders.

However, with that said, I do hold out hope that one day all the ministers there will realize the parts they played in the destruction of lives, and that they will admit the parts they played and say they are SORRY! Because in some cases, the damage is not fixable, and sorry is all that can be said.

    1. Ministers saying ‘sorry’ to lay members.. That will be the biggest miracle ever seen in the history of the RCG.

  33. @ 12:28 I have already had some say it privately, but it would be nice to see some be a little more bold and make it a bit more public. ~ Hence why I have some hope. They don't even need to explain why they have done whatever they have done, just recognizing the pain it has caused - leads to a lot of healing.
