Dave Pack sent out a Co-worker letter to his dwindling faithful on December 5, 2020.
It is the usual long list of horrible things going wrong in the world as proof that this is the end of the age. This kind of list is so typical of Armstrongist groups that you could remove Dave's signature and add Weston, Flurry, or Thiel to it and no one would know the difference. It is apparently from the COG Rule Book on co-worker letter writing:
Greetings from Headquarters! By all accounts, the world has never experienced a year like 2020. In every part of the globe and for countless reasons, this year stands in stark contrast to ALL others. Few would dispute this. But what government leaders, economists, news pundits and journalists completely fail to grasp is why 2020 is so different. Although the world can see what is happening all around them, they are left completely in the dark as to WHY!
The phrase “we live in uncertain times” has become commonplace. This could not be further from the truth! These are actually the most certain times in history because the swirl of chaos the world is now witnessing was prophesied.
My favorite was this part:
The streets of cities across America are largely empty today because dictatorial governors and national leaders have forbidden people to travel, leave their homes, go to church, or work, or gyms, or restaurants, or malls—or even walk or exercise outside in some places. Coyotes, foxes, rats, dogs and feral cats roam the vacant streets of cities, forming an astonishing futurescape that looks like it belongs in a post-apocalyptic world.
I can see a new booklet coming soon from RCG: Feral Cats In Prophecy
In the confused world of the COG , especially since 1995, Pack himself has acted like a "feral animal", ... A Devouring Wolf Pack Animal!
ReplyDeleteDave has isolated himself on his private compound for so long that he is out of touch with reality.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if Dave asked any of the men who don't live on the millennial Kingdom if they have seen any of the above animals roaming the streets of Wadsworth before he penned such catastrophic news?
ReplyDeleteSince we are operating an impromptu cat shelter here, I thought I would fact check directly from the source whether feral cats were indeed roaming the streets.
The question I asked was: are any of you unbeknownst to me out roaming the streets and fulfilling biblical prophecy?
Fraeda: no, I am too afraid to roam the streets.
Cali: no, the streets are too hard on the soles of my feet.
Winnie: no, there is too much noise on the street and I can't hear myself.
Boxxy: no, there no one there who will stand and box with me.
Beautiful Beatrice: no, that is against queens edicate.
Teigs: no, my stripes look just fine here.
Orangee: yes, but I ain't out roaming.
Owen: no, because the bully Pikey won't let me go anywhere.
Pikey: no, why would I, there are too many cats right here that need bullying.
Bobby: no, I am already missing a tail and I can't afford to lose another appendage.
Bentley: no, too busy hiding in all the Amazon boxes that arrive weekly.
Orangeeta: no, I have 50 play mice that I have to kill and rough up daily.
Misty: no, there is too much drama in the streets and I have enough drama to create here. Mari-lynn: no, who needs the streets when there are so many trees to climb.
There you have it, proof of another false co-worker letter being sent out to drive fear into the populace and create hatred unto the feral cat community.
Pack's epistle reads just like an old PT article from the 50's or 60's, full of hysterical hype. Hey, it wouldn't surprise me if Wacky Packy is recycling some of those old PT articles in his letters!
ReplyDeleteHe does. He also recycles sermons. There was a 1996 (!) sermon on their website this Sabbath.. Looks like Wacky Packy is losing his inspiration to talk the members out of their money.
DeleteMost of what The Great Packster writes is wishful thinking. He wants the world to end, he NEEDS the world to end, to show everyone he is right. It is a delusional state he is in: magical thinking. Same thing kids do. ‘If I wish it hard enough it will happen’.
ReplyDeleteSad thing is that his followers believe him. So they hand over their latest paychecks and Christmas bonuses and wait for the feral cats to arrive. And wait.. and wait.. and wait..
I was looking up some public records in Ohio and typed in ‘Pack’ for fun. Much to my surprise a record for Domestic Violence in 2011 came up for David C Pack!
ReplyDeleteAnyone here knows what that is about? Did Davey sin against the 10 commandments?

ReplyDeleteThis is probably his way of reassuring RCG members that nothing has changed since 1996 except for whatever new ways God is working with David Christ and his little brother Jesus Christ.
In fairness to Pack, and with a nod to accuracy, I checked out the "domestic violence" accusation made above potentially against Pack , with a search of public records.
ReplyDeleteApparently , there is more than one David C. Pack who lives in the Wadsworth region. The accused has the middle name of "Clarence" , and is only currently 64 years old (Davey is 72) , and lived at different addresses over the last 20 years that again do not correspond to the RCG Sociopath Pack.
2011 Judge Kimbler Journal : David Pack, 55, of High Street in Wadsworth, pleaded not guilty to one count of Domestic Violence, a fourth-degree felony. A jury trial is scheduled for December 19.

What?! There’s more than one David C Pack?!
DeleteI hope that this other guy is a more decent human then ‘our’ Davey is! Well, apart from that Domestic Violence thing that is. But compared to Davey that is only a minor offense.
ReplyDeleteThe REAL Dave Pack is not just into domestic violence. He is into violence against everyone everywhere.
Plenty of COG ministers recycle sermons. I've heard a few even admit it up-front.
ReplyDeleteBut isn't December usually a month for TV reruns?
Anon 1:46 David Pack has a violent and uncontrolled temper. I have seen it with my own eyes and heard about it from credible sources.
ReplyDeleteAnon 1:46 David Pack (from very credible sources) had threatened violence even to his own Family. In addition bizarre violent threats and actions among his employees(I PITY them, and I know ex-employees who have seen a lot)
ReplyDeleteHis own Family had questioned how he could be a minister
The "cats running wild" story is true. Even WAY-FM has mentioned on its afternoon show how cats have taken over the Vatican grounds, because COVID-19 has reduced crowds.
ReplyDeleteBut it's WAY-FM, so they make a joke about it - calling it the "Cat-ican." :-)
I ask this in all honesty.
ReplyDeleteWhy is today's crop of COG leaders such idiots?
None of them have any integrity.
They preach ridiculous idiotic nonsense.
They are woefully ignorant of Jesus.
Why are they all such bad leaders?
Simple: because all they care for is money and power. Or power and money. Take your pick.
