I received a video clip of Dave Pack speaking to his dwindling faithful in Wadsworth Ohio the other day. Sadly I cannot post it here as Dave and his buddies have forced Youtube to take down any video clip that has Dave featured in it as supposed copyright violations.
This clip is referring to a friend of mine who just left the Restored Church of God.He was growing weary of being single. There are approximately zero single available ladies in that organization.I was also a member who was excommunicated and "marked" back in the spring, thus severing me from many meaningful friendships. The reason? I don't believe Pack is the Elijah (as many members don't, but I got cornered by a minister and had to confess my true convictions regardless of the cost).Definitely a sad situation that has developed in RCG. Pack just isn't able to take a step backwards.
However, here is what Dave said in reference to the following comments that came with the video:
Lest anyone forget.... Pack married the very in home young nurse that cared for his wife while she was in hospice stage, doing so just months after her death. He even claimed that his wife gave the arrangement her blessing
ReplyDeleteIt's an abusive cult ploy called reframing. Whatever happens to a members is interpreted or reframed to conform to the cult narrative. Hence a personal problem experienced by a member is interpreted as the result of not blindly following the leader.
ReplyDeleteI've heard HwA ministers do this from the pulpit on several occasions, so it must be taught as part of their training. My bible condemns such guile.
ReplyDelete“There are approximately zero single available ladies in that organization.”
Single girls seem to prefer real men with money rather than Dave Pack's mindless, destitute, male mice.
It was Surf City in reverse Two boys foe every girl
DeleteSome foolish and suicidal lad said "I want to go find a wife, I'm not waiting anymore." So henceforth he will miss out on The Marriage Supper of The Lamb! So sayeth The DAVID CHRIST!
ReplyDeleteIt's sometimes called sick-step-reframing, 11:50
Dave seems to have surrounded himself with a lot of closeted gay young men. It's kind of creepy and people at the HQ church have notice that.
ReplyDeleteOne of the reason there’s so little single women in the RCG, is that they are preyed on by (married!) ministers and elders. And if they dare to complain or even tell Pack and Brad boy about it, these women are forced to leave.
ReplyDeleteSingle women in RCG don't have much hope. Gay closeted men, old lecherous men, and grabby church elders.
ReplyDeleteOne thing I have noticed about David is his increasing anger. The man is wound tighter than spring and is ready to pop. I am afraid something bad is in store for this man and his followers when he has claimed his has completed all that needs to be said. What is left now?

Tonto you honed right in on the crux of this matter more than you know.
Dave Pack talked about his first wife in a sermon once and was quite open. He said that as they were rewriting all of HWA's literature with Dave dictating and his wife typing, he said they would go for long spells - hours and hours on end with no bathroom breaks and mostly consuming coffee and snacks. He said this vigorous weeks long endeavor contributed to or caused his wife's death. He said she literally gave her life for the truth and God's work.
Flash forward a number of years, and Dave talked a bit about his new wife in a sermon. He mentioned how much in common he had with his new wife - much more than his first wife he said, but God used her for a purpose and now blessed him with his new more compatible wife because of his faithfulness.
If we add in some of Dave's edicts about not having children because we are a handful of years away from fleeing and you don't want to be caught pregnant or nursing or no owning of pets - they are a waste of money and take away from the "work", these all lay the groundwork of the one way street to a great dead end.
What do these examples have to do with what these young men experienced? Dave Pack's first wife died for something Dave Pack mostly doesn't believe anymore or teaches. Where are all those rewritten books now? A lot of people went without having kids for a long time and 5 years game and went and another 5 years came and went and no place of safety. How many people never got or got rid of a pet they wanted? A lot of people that would like to get married in the RCG have no chance because of the onerous race and age restrictions and distance and poverty.
Dave Pack never will be in poverty. Dave Pack wants a wife, he gets a wife. Dave wants horses and goats for pets, he gets horses and goats. Dave wants to buy and plant 3000 trees, he does that. Dave Pack wants to exclusively claim his prophethood via the Elijah office he does it and you better believe it.
I applaud these two young men for walking out of desolation, which is where Dave (the abomination that makes desolate) Pack wants everyone before him. I hope the first young man finds a nice wife and has some children and gets a few pets and plants a few trees and finds the real God. And I hope the second young man continues to be heroic and smart and finds and cleaves to the truth.
Dave Pack with great effort satisfies whatever his soul desires or lusts for. Dave Pack also with great effort makes sure his followers reach and attain a dead end both physically and spiritually.
When at least one of these two boys is gay it makes it even harder for single women in RCG. There is no hope.

That's a great job of retouching on his eyes in the first photo. Scarey.
