CGI's Bill Watson's tirades against COVID have not prevented CGI members from getting infected. The infection rate is so high in one church area that the building they meet in needs to be disinfected, canceling services. Now we know what Bill Watson had a fit over recent articles posted.
Exposing the underbelly of Armstrongism in all of its wacky glory! Nothing you read here is made up. What you read here is the up to date face of Herbert W Armstrong's legacy. It's the gritty and dirty behind the scenes look at Armstrongism as you have never seen it before! With all the new crazy self-appointed Chief Overseers, Apostles, Prophets, Pharisees, legalists, and outright liars leading various Churches of God today, it is important to hold these agents of deception accountable.

"difficult times" ?????????????? Seriously? Watson created this fiasco with his blithering nonsense and conspiracy theories. We won't be going back for a few weeks now.
ReplyDeleteThe Scripture in Numbers 32:23 says, “Be sure your sin will find you out.” Watson lacked spiritual and moral leadership, and wisdom when he did nothing for months while the majority of his followers gathered without masks… week after week. Their smug “holier than thou” attitude finally caught up with them. Many in the congregation gloated that their “great faith” was more righteous than the weak Christians who wore masks and social distanced. I had a discussion with a former UCG member who was attending there because their “faith” was greater than the local UCG congregation. It’s rather amazing how many people use their shallow “faith” and God as an excuse to avoid wisdom. This "I have faith" parody is simply an excuse for the genuine reason they don’t want to wear a mask. What’s the real reason? “Well... no one is going to tell ME what to do!" This self-righteousness and arrogance finally caught up with them. Hopefully, no one will die, or suffer greatly from Watsons lack of shepherding skills.
ReplyDeleteDisinfecting?? Covid does not last long at all on surfaces, and all that is necessary is to open the windows and let fresh air in , while unoccupied for a day or two.
ReplyDeleteCovid passes primarily through the air . From Web MD...
The COVID-19 virus can spread via direct contact, airborne transmission, or through droplets. There have also been a few reported cases potentially spread through surfaces. But the risk of this is very low.
No disagree Tonto. In my workplace, which is a government building, whenever the has been a Covid outbreak on a floor the entire building is shut early. The entire building is smoked from top to bottom by men wearing severe industrial equipment and breathing apparatus akin to going into Chernobyl.
DeleteThe is more to Covid-19 than meets the eye.
Oh… we get it! It’s the BUILDING that is the problem? Also, notice a word that is purposely avoided in this announcement. It would have taken a biblical quality called “humility” to use the word COVID in the announcement. But he couldn’t because it’s a left wing conspiracy. It’s not the foolish lack of wisdom that has made people sick, it is a problem with the building rather than their behavior. It isn’t the building that needs disinfected, it is their hardened selfish hearts.
ReplyDeleteA lot of us in CGI do not look to Watson as ever really telling the truth. To admit that covid is the issue where would break his narrative he has been trying to set up, that it is all fake. His stupidity has come back to bite him in the ass. We wish the elders who make up the board of the church would grow some balls and get rid of the guy. They know the trouble he is causing and how many of us are sick of it.
ReplyDelete"The entire building is smoked from top to bottom by men wearing severe industrial equipment and breathing apparatus akin to going into Chernobyl."
ReplyDeletetheatrics, ....gotta keep the narrative going.
(and we're supposed to think an N95 mask will save us?)
Nope the truth. Happened at least 3 times since last August. It's a big bad world outside, you clearly have no experience of it.
DeleteAnother COG in my back yard- I've probably passed by it on may way to the Wadsworth Giant Eagle.
