Exposing the underbelly of Armstrongism in all of its wacky glory! Nothing you read here is made up. What you read here is the up to date face of Herbert W Armstrong's legacy. It's the gritty and dirty behind the scenes look at Armstrongism as you have never seen it before!
With all the new crazy self-appointed Chief Overseers, Apostles, Prophets, Pharisees, legalists, and outright liars leading various Churches of God today, it is important to hold these agents of deception accountable.

Commercial Break: Dave! ...
... Snap out of it! Gyrate us! What are we suppose to believe this week?
Well, for starters, Bob Thiel expects to believe the lie that tithing is still required. He got pissed off at this blog for saying tithing was not a requirement and posted a hilarious and factually inaccurate post on why it is. Why are we suppose to believe that this guy is some kind of theologian?
Bob Thiel expects to believe the lie that tithing is still required.
Much has been said and written about the ubiquitous practice of tithing. Yes, Bob, like other COGleaders, accept the misinterpretation of statements in the Book of Hebrews, claiming "the Church" is under the priesthood of Melchizedek. He cites various people who he said were post-apostolic tithe payers prior the Catholic church councils that made (first) tithing mandatory (but took Charlemagne, years later) to enforce. But "God loves a cheerful giver" and not a grumbling tither, and a laborer is still worthy of their hire (fee negotiable).
What's with the sudden focus on tithing ? Who influences who on here?
Is it really the heart strings pulling at the burden of tithing ? Or hoping to whip up a wind of discontent over tithing, hoping for it to morph into a movement and hit the ACOG in reality.
Or the fact that World Governments are cracking down with strict money laundering laws which water down to the ACOG tithing practice?
I expect tithing to become an issue in the years ahead amongst other sanctions from Gov.
It seems like interest in Dave Pack's delusions is flagging. Only one comment, "Maybe Vernia sedated him." seems to be on topic for this post.
Could it actually be that the failed prophecy sermons are completed??????
I, for one, continue to check this site to see the demise of RCG. It is pathetic that people who claim to want to follow the truth still wait for spiritual guidance from this wolf!!
Bob was reading and explaining Deuteronomy in one of his "every 7 years" sermons. In at least one verse, קָרְבָּן (Korban) usually translated in English as "sacrifice" was translated "offering". The verse was about the offerings ("sacrifices") each day of the FOT. Not catching the context and meaning, Bob explained "we at the CCoG only have offerings on the Holy Days".

Dave has his bases covered through the spring holy days next year. But, if he gets bored I'm sure he will shake things up a bit. Hang on to his current prophecy, for sure, but start adding and subtracting from it... Or he can not preach for a few more weeks, and start a whole new line of false prophecy! It must be killing him to be keeping quiet right now!
Probably hurts his ego that he isn't even the subject of most of the comments here! His spotlight has been stolen by Bob Theil.
D.C.P. - CoGdom's wackiest Pied-Piper!
