And please remember before you leave for home, we have plenty of Church/YOU Fundraising Hoodies, we know at least half of you will want, still available for those long cold winter nights ahead
Something to think about:
ReplyDelete“So yes, the modern breed of atheist is arrogant, ignorant and dangerous. Too many books written in response to these pseudo-intellectual hatemongers have been altogether too nice. Too many Christian authors have tried to be kind and amiable in an effort to demonstrate that believers don’t have to sink into the mud in order to defend the faith. That tact is very charitable, but unfortunately, it just doesn’t work with bullies.
And that’s exactly what modern-day atheists are—bullies; bullies who are doing their best to intimidate the rest of us into silence.
Well, we can’t allow that to happen. As I say in my book, “Inside the Atheist Mind: Unmasking the Religion of Those Who Say There is No God,” there is only one way to deal with bullies, even in this politically correct world—and that is to stand up to them and fight them; to fight them in a bold, aggressive, and fearless way, and to fight them now.”
Anthony DeStefano is the author of Inside the Atheist Mind: Unmasking the Religion of Those Who Say There is No God.
Stay home and write out Exodus 23:14-16. Herbert and his clones still don’t get it: there are only three feasts (and for you New Covenant adherents two of the feasts are mentioned in the NT after Christ’s death as existing). “Feasts” mentioned later in Lev 23:2 should be translated “fixed times” - Tanakh translation …...which include 7 annual sabbaths and 3 feasts.
ReplyDeleteEven before Covid 19 pandemic arrived on the scene I had great concern for the Feast site choices of the 'Festival elite' nevermind now.
ReplyDeleteThey always used "God has placed his name" as an excuse for pushing their own choice, their own agenda, their own goals. Not God's.
ReplyDeleteAnonymous at 10:25 wrote: "And for you New Covenant adherents" ... are you saying that you deny the New Covenant and the finished work of Jesus Christ? .. if so, you might want to re-think that. Jesus Christ is the only Way to God the Father.
I thought the first logo said "Best BEAST Ever" at first glance!
ReplyDeleteAnon 5:39 AM: No I'm not denying the New Covenant and can hardly wait for it to be implemented fully which includes laws written on hearts - Jeremiah 31:31-33. I should have written......for those who think the feasts are done away........
ReplyDeleteHow do these guys celebrate the New Moon? Why do they think they can pick and choose which special days to observe?
ReplyDeleteDo they even know about the lunar sabbaths, let alone actually keeping them?
ReplyDeleteThe lunar sabbaths theory says the day 8 (not necessarily the 8th date of a calendar) and the days 15, 22, 29 of a lunar cycle (definition of a lunar cycle is controversial) are sabbaths. But day 8 is not the seventh day from day 29 so the theory is discounted.
ReplyDelete9:48 why do you say the new cov is not implemented already? Christ is our high Priest and we individually are the temple. He lives in us.
ReplyDelete3:15 you are referring to the first administration of the New Covenant.
ReplyDelete9:48 is referring to the second administration of the NC.
Under the Old Covenant there were three successive administrations - two ‘tabernacle’ and one ‘temple’ administrations.
In the New Covenant there are also three administration but in the NC the first administration is followed by two contemporary administrations - one ‘tabernacle’ and two ‘temple’ administrations.
In the NC the ‘Keturah’ administration is centred on the Temple in earthly Jerusalem while the ‘Sarah’ administration is centred on Temple in the heavenly Jerusalem (Heb 12:22).
Ac 1:6 When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?
Ac 1:11b this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.
Zec 14:4a And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives
The above Scriptures look to Christ restoring the kingdom to Israel at his second coming (Heb 9:28).
When Christ appeared the first time - the first half of His prophetic week - He raised up Israel the Church and commissioned her as His vehicle to proclaim the gospel. When Christ appears the “second time” - the second half of this prophetic week - He raises up Israel the Kingdom and commissions her to be His vehicle to proclaim the gospel.
Zec 8:3a Thus says the LORD: I will return to Zion, And dwell in the midst of Jerusalem.
Mal 3:1b and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant...
Eze 43:7a And he said unto me, Son of man, the place of my throne, and the place of the soles of my feet, where I will dwell in the midst of the children of Israel for ever...
The above Scriptures picture Jesus Christ’s returning to dwell in the Millennial Temple after the completion of the second half of His prophetic week. (Cp. Acts 2 for the 'type' after the completion of His first half week).
Zec 8:3a is an example of “indirect messianic prophecy” - cp. “he that hath seen me hath seen the Father” (Jn 14:9) and “the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me” (Jn 14:10).
Ex 25:8 And let them make me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them.
1Ki 8:13a I have surely built thee an house to dwell in
Jesus Christ will have a dwelling presence in the Millennial Temple just as he did in the Mosaic Tabernacle and the Solomonic Temple, while in heaven.
