Zerubbabel 11 months ago
It has been a rough road for self-appointed Church of God prophets down through the decades. Widely ignored and mocked, these know-it-alls dispense one idiotic prophecy/predicition after another. Each year that passes the church is filled with more and more of these fools.
Above is Michael Noordhoek, aka Zerbbabel. This walking freak of nature was the same guy who a couple years ago said he was impregnating his daughter with the holy man child to come.
Noordhoek is in the same graduating class as Bob Thiel and this is the future look of Bob Thiel a few more years down the line:
It looks like Zerub has never washed his outfit in the past year. Imagine how he stinks since he lives in the desert!
Apparently, he never raised the 280 million dollars he was looking for when he set up a Gofundme page and therefore is unable to buy new clothes. Of course, the local Walmart probably does not sell prophets clothing like this anymore, especially since the pandemic has hit and supply chains are disrupted.
COG Zerubbabel Starts 280 Million Dollar Go Fund Me Page
Sadly, Michael Noordhoek is not an anomaly. Why is the Church of God filled with so many idiots like what we have today? Can Bob Thiel answer that question?
For a hilarious bit of fun fast forward to the 2:15 mark and watch his clothing malfunction...
‘Can Bob Thiel answer that question’?
ReplyDeleteOne should never bother Dr Bob Thiel with such inane comments.
One, as a Prophet as Dr Thiel undoubtedly is, is more concerned with bigger issues.
Besides he is always better dressed than the ‘Prophet’ pictured.
What an annoying person to listen to. He talks in circles, say's a bunch of words that don't mean much. Another false prophet COG Kook!
ReplyDeleteThe man is mentally ill and his God Haunted obsessions and delusions drew him to religion which is all too accommodating.
ReplyDeleteHe wants to impregnate his daughter?! Even if his daughter is an adult, he can still be charged with criminal incest in a lot of states. I sincerely hope his daughter had enough common sense to move away from him.
ReplyDeleteBitter Bwana Bob was Almost Arrested, but needs to be in a mental hospital.
ReplyDeleteThis Noordhoek freak, bragging about incest, needs to be in jail.
Unless Bob deteriorates a lot further, he is in a completely different class of lunatic than Noordhoek. Worse, in one way, in that nobody sane will give Noordhoek evan a fraction of his desired $280 million, but Bob has been able to convince 299 white folks to tithe to him.
ReplyDeleteI was looking at past "Banneds" about this guy. What was he in jail for ?
Extracted from "Old Neo's Book of Practical Millerites," Third Edition, p. 594.
ReplyDeleteThe abundance of Millerite Prophets:
"Ellen White lived in an era of Christianity abounding with prophets. Many of them had "visions," claimed to be hearing from God or his angels, wrote out their testimonies and teachings for their followers, and guided their sects...According to Dr. Ronald Numbers, fanaticism continued to plague the Millerites even after the October 22 disappointment, and it seemed particularly prevalent among the "shut door" believers...One resident wrote that among the city's (Portland, Maine) "children of light...nothing was more common than visions" ...The shut-door group in Ellen Harmon's home town of Portland, Maine, was even more notorious in Millerite circles, as Joshua Himes describes its: "continual introduction of visionary nonsense..."
"Several years later she (Ellen White) also rebuked another up-and-coming SDA prophetess: 'The pretensions of Sister Steward to have visions, the fanaticism of the most wretched, revolting kind being the fruits, and the influence of the false exercises...'"
"While affirming herself (Ellen White) as the one true prophet, she derided others as fanatical and under the influence of Satan."

What I can never quite understand about these types of folks is why part of their spiel almost always includes walking around in clothes as if they belonged in the Bronze Age. What is the point of that? Does it somehow underscore their authority as a prophet?
ReplyDeleteThe coughing is rather annoying, as is the pot belly showing through the tattered rags.
And, somehow, the modern electronic black microphone seems weirdly out of place considering the image he is trying to project of him being some kind of ancient time traveler from the distant past.
A more extreme example that ultra religiousity and mental illness typically go hand in hand.
With that "beer belly" it looks like he is still eating well.
ReplyDeleteWhen I would visit Boulder, Colorado I would like to walk up Pearl Street because there would usually be some pretty good street performers. I remember one guy was a comedian who delivered his jokes and juggled from the top of some very high stilts - an extreme version of "stand up comedy."
ReplyDeleteThis "prophet" may be "mentally ill" like a fox. He may know the value of a good shtick. We're criticizing him but he's turning a buck - and everything outlandish about him is a part of it. This could just be an attention getting variation on the usual apocalyptic Millerite themes. And Millerites come in all shapes and sizes. Maybe he is even wearing a white dress shirt under his tunic.

ReplyDeleteTrue if you're talking about the Petulant Prophet of Possibly, aka Bob Thiel
Not true if you're talking about the sex offender Noordhoek.
Awesome, as Ron Weinland would say.
ReplyDelete"With that "beer belly" it looks like he is still eating well."
ReplyDeleteHe must be getting his share of locust and wild honey.
The 'prophet' could be suffering from severe malnutrition as well. It can cause your stomach to bloat like that.
ReplyDeletePhinnpoy, bloating from malnutrition distends the human abdomen outward, not downward.
ReplyDeleteNot to waste time in a senseless arguement, I find it hard to believe that a guy who's wearing rags would have enough money to buy decent amounts of food.
DeleteBig bellies are caused by too much carbs in the diet. Look up the doctors at low carb down under.
ReplyDelete"Big bellies are caused by too much carbs in the diet. Look up the doctors at low carb down under."
ReplyDeletePerhaps we should go with more locust and less wild honey- an Atkins approach you might say.
These guys don't get it. The end really is upon us and it has nothing to do with punishment for failing to hear the Armstrong message or adhere to its legalism. The end is happening because we're killing the planet. Even consideiring the mildest model, if everyone began maintaining a zero carbon footprint today, it would be 2050 before the effects already in play would begin to reverse themselves. Powerful interests are conducting all out warfare against those who would fight the causative factors. Curiously, many of the effects we are witnessing are very similar to the outlines in Revelation. Zerubbabel seems to live a Thoreauesque existence, and perhaps already has a very low carbon footprint. If he were to change his tune, drop the superstition, take a bath, and maybe buy some clean sustainable hemp clothes, perhaps he'd be more successful advocating for saving the planet.
ReplyDeletewe're killing the planet
ReplyDeleteTell that to our favorite prophetic foil in Arroyo Grande. Daily disasters brought about by climate change provide an endless supply of fodder for prophetic fearmongering. When a disaster can be tied to a sin that occurs in that region, it's a dream come true - although, it will be a prediction post facto.
Exactly, 9:20. God's management style has always been mostly devoted to allowing His children to experience the consequences of their own actions, It makes much more sense that the events of Revelation would be the cumulative effect of man polluting and ruining the planet, as opposed to working on a mathematical timeline to pull the plug, or basing it on a quota of homosexuals.
ReplyDeleteThe race riots HWA forecast could very easily be fomented by hardline conservatives who refuse to admit that there even is such a thing as racism, and therefore do nothing to change the conditions a people has endured for centuries.
