  1. The problem with Dave Pack is that he is not able to convince Christ himself!

  2. Back when the old dinosaur newspapers were at the top of their cycle, there was generally a resident psychic (often syndicated) with a regular column. These seers were semi-famous, and often their predictions spilled over into other media, kind of the modern equivalent of "going viral". At some point, the newspapers began stating somewhere above or below the psychic's column that the psychic's opinions were intended for entertainment only, and not to be taken as serious advice for the planning readers' lives.

It seems perfectly obvious that that old newspaper disclaimer is appropriate to any forecasts issued by David Pack. His prophecies are for entertainment only. Fortunately, the only ones in a mental state which allows them to take Pack's prophecies seriously are the extremely indoctrinated. I believe that RCG members who are relatively mentally stable no longer take him seriously. But, they are forced to defer to him reverentually, as reluctant Republicans do with Donald Trump. In RCG members' circle, Pack's got all the power. And his sychophants are either his staunch enforcers, or they are treated as RCGinos and dumped.

  3. How long will we have to wait till Dave's toy boys get on here defending him? I will make a bet for $1,000,000.00 with his toy boys that Christ is NOT returning this month or any time this year. Dave is a liar.

  5. David C. Pack's BAIT & SWITCH Scam

At the start of his own splinter group called the Restored Church, David Pack talked about restoring all of Herbert W. Armstrong's old teachings from the time of HWA's death in 1986. David Pack talked about bringing responsible understanding rather than reckless speculation. David Pack said that he wanted his RCG members to be the most informed people on the planet. This sounded so good.

Over the years, things changed for the worse.

Now, Dave Pack is busy making unbelievably huge changes to HWA's teachings. Dave Pack brings nothing but reckless speculation on a weekly basis, and no responsible understanding at all. The RCG cult members now look like some of the biggest suckers around. This has gone so badly.

People who went to the RCG cult ended up getting mentally, physically, spiritually, financially, financially, and financially brutalized.

One of the problems with these characters like Dave Pack who come in God's name is that one never really knows for sure how crazy they will become after one has worse-than-wasted so much time, effort, money, money, and money on supporting them that it becomes psychologically very difficult to admit that it was all simply a really, really, really, BIG mistake to trust a religious con-artist.

  6. No Other Group Has Such Big Weekly Whoppers

Some current RCG cult members do not know where else they could go to get their itching ears tickled by the sort of outrageous lies and nonsense that they have come to know and love under Dave Pack.

Dave is truly the master of the weekly whopper.

  7. Understanding David C Pack's teaching style:

    • Kicking the can down the road
    • Moving the goal post
    • Carrot on a stick
    • Lucy and the football
    • The emperor is naked
    • Chicken Little: The sky is falling
    • Riding the prophetic merry-go-round
    • Biblical Groundhog Day
    • Cracked the DaVinci Code
    • Sees himself all throughout the scriptures
    • Delaying the inevitable
    • Finds a way to be right about something that was wrong
    • Gaslighting the brethren
    • Biblical sleight of hand
    • Playing a shell game with the scriptures
    • Bait and switch
    • Present Truth excuses falsehood
    • Change the meaning of words to fit the current understanding
    • Rewriting the Bible as he reads it to you
    • The man cannot stop talking
    • Arrogance has never been so insecure (Needs accolades from his acolytes immediately after the message. They stand in a semi-circle and parrot, "powerful, powerful" "so very clear")
    • "The man of sin has been revealed" (Again and again)
    • "Now I understand"
    • "What else could it mean?" "Impossible. No other way to read it." (If you don't have another theory, then there cannot be one. Except when there is later)
    • "It fits perfectly" (Until it doesn't)
    • "Daniel is finally unsealed"
    • "Revelation is finally unsealed"
    • "The series is over"
    • "Did you think the series could be over before we learned THIS?"
    • "The Mystery of God is ended"
    • "Would God let me get this wrong?"
    • "I tell you on God's authority..."
    • "God didn't want XYZ"
    • "God gave us more time"
    • "I knew it wasn't going to happen..." (Regarding his own teaching just before the deadline)
    • "I discovered" but "we got it wrong"
    • "Some people left right before the very end. They answered the matter before they heard it" (Part 366 was yesterday)
    • "If you don't believe this prophecy, then you don't believe your Bible"
    • Reads a passage of scripture that supports his theory, but stops before the next verse that counters it
    • XYZ number of "proofs" that are rock solid until they fail
    • The antecedent is so very important in understanding a verse...but only when he says so
    • Calling any point of logic or opinion a "proof" that actually proves nothing
    • A calculator and calendar proves his theories (Harold Camping would agree)
    • Obsession with "something" in the moment (ie eagles, rainbows, fog, wind, Elul, Adar, Abib, almond trees, fig trees, oak trees, land sabbath, Seven Days of Passover, nighttime, winter, Ester's fast...)
    • "All the ministers agree" (Except they do not. Especially the ones that leave soon after. Some former ministers told me that for YEARS they knew DCP was full of baloney.)
    • "None of the other ministers saw it"
    • "I've never heard of XYZ" means nobody on the face of the earth ever saw, noticed, or understood a passage and its meaning before
    • "If you think I'm arrogant, pray for me"
    • None of the brethren can explain what they just heard
    • None of the ministers can explain what they just heard
    • Don't bother to "prove all things" since this teaching will change in hours/days/weeks anyhow
    • "We're right on track. Everything is fine"

The brilliance of God will prove DCP to be a fraud to the core. Whenever Jesus Christ returns, be assured DCP will be completely wrong about the how/when/where.

  8. A little off topic and I know some readers don't like long posts but please bear with me as I share another Packism.

As Dave Pack recommends I try to prove all things so while casually perusing the March-April 2022 "Real Truth" magazine article "The 21st Century Queen" https://rcg.org/realtruth/articles/220307-002.html I noticed RCG quoted the New York Genealogical and Biographical Record journal from 1921 with regards to the British monarchy, British Israelism and such.

Pack likes to extoll his knowledge and research, and must assume everyone he is preaching to is an idiot. Well, it took all of 2 to 3 minutes to find the NYGBR material at archive.org. https://archive.org/search.php?query=newyorkgenealog052newy

The subject NYGBR essay is entitled "Some Genealogical Absurdities" and in it (page 299 on) the journal editor is making a mockery of the Tea Tephi and British monarchy thing and actually the biblical genealogies back to Adam as well. You have to read the preceding submission to the journal (page 295 on) to get it but you'll appreciate the somewhat sophisticated humor of the journal editor back in 1921, not many people write like that any more.

Taking the small amount of trouble needed to look up the source information for RCG's article reveals something about their methods. It's amazing how Pack's gang can choose to leave out inconvenient little details, like the title of the article they are quoting! Basically the way RCG quotes NYGBR is nothing other than a lie. Kind of like the way all these guys glibly skip right over Mark 9.1 in their "prophesizing."

So just a little checking gives the result: UNPROVEN! Pack's reliance on the NYGBR as a "proof" of B.I. is a beyond a major fail. But of course Pack would say he has 32 more proofs in his back pocket if only he had the time to tell us. What a joke, but really a sad state of affairs when one realizes how many gullible people are fooled and taken advantage of by this guy. He says "prove all things" but hopes you won't and will just take him at his word because he has so many proofs and it is just too much for you to understand. As Sledge Hammer used to say in one of the best TV cop shows ever, "Trust me - I know what I'm doing!"

  9. Pack really shouldn't tell people to prove all things because the more one proves then the more one learns just how far off Pack is. He really shouldn't tell them that, he would end up with no followers, no money, and no way to make his mortgages so no compound. That would truly be a shame.

Dave and other ACOG leaders tell their members to "prove all things" after they have imprisoned their minds with all manner of nonsense.

  10. I can just hear Jesus saying, "Dave? Oh, I'm sorry, you prefer to be called Mr. Pack, don't you? I admire your enthusiasm and dedication, but you really shit the bed on this prophecy thing! I had considered revealing certain things to you, but, instead of waiting, you decided to do everything your way! What I found especially appalling was that whenever I gave some special blessings to your people as a reward for them to enjoy, somehow you always managed to take those things for yourself and your little self-aggrandizing projects! You made it impossible for you and I to work together to get my Father's work done!"

“The brilliance of God will prove DCP to be a fraud to the core….”

    Sorry, Marc, you are wrong.
The “brilliance” of David Pack is masterfully proving himself wrong every time he opens his mouth. God is not needed here…..
