No one would have ever dreamed 33 years ago how sick Gerald Flurry would become when it came to his teachings From forcing a father to throw his daughter out on the street so the state could take care of her to parents turning their backs on their children and children against their parents. No one would have ever dreamed he would set off for Oregon to dig up a dirty old rock that Herb supposedly prayed and drag it back to Edmond Oklahoma to enshrine on the cult compound where it is reverently displayed on a bed of royal purple velvet. No one would imagine him declaring his rock the new coronation stone and how he is now our King,
Oh, yeah, 33 years of short work. But, of course, how could all that Irish dancing, and erecting more buildings for his grandkids, and buying his personal plane come to fruition if it were really a short work? Come on, brethren, keep all that money coming in. You're not just in here for the ride (of course not on the plane, don't be silly, that's Flurry's) but your money is - let's admit it - really you hoping to buy your stairway to heaven, or Millennium, if you will.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, how's that Place of Safety going? Has Flurry figured it out yet, or the ministry? After all, it's been 33 years, syrely all that revelation must come to something. Or, is that not a thing anymore? Swept under the rug like all the rest of the "prophecies" by That False Prophet Gerald Flurry, right?
Unfortunately, about 30 years ago I was involved with PCG. It seemed like a viable option at the time, but slowly things began to deteriorate. The PCG made forward strides physically, but lacked teaching what Christ taught spiritually.
ReplyDeleteAfter several years in, it became obvious that PCG was nothing but a man-made religion. The transition from it being all about HWA, to all about GRF was subtle at first. GRF has elevated himself to where PCG is all about him.
It's sad and pathetic to see people that I once knew still trapped in it's web of lies and deceit. I am thankful I had the time to get out while I could. It's been over 20 years, but it seems like only yesterday.
Remembrances. 33 years ago. So young and I yet remember Andy Locher believing with his father that Flurry was the place to be.
ReplyDeleteFlurry claims that he will become the king of England after all the members of the royal throne are killed during the tribulation. Hence God promise to always have a descendant sit on David's throne will be fulfilled. If that's the case, how does Flurry explain Oliver Cromwell being the de facto king of England after the defeat and execution of king Charles 1?
ReplyDeleteIt's up to God, and not any man to interpret and apply His promises.
We ourselves, back in the '60s, unknowingly also being cartoon caricatures as Embarrassing College students, used to laugh at "the world's" Christian ministers for doing pseudo things like tha Flurry's and other ACOG leaders are doing today. Seems like there's been a not so subtle paradigm shift somewhere along the line that the frogs never did pick up on. Ribbittt......
ReplyDeleteUnhappy Birthday To You! ...
ReplyDeleteYour church is a ZOO!
Gerald is as dumb as a Monkey...
And Stephen is too!
33 years too many
ReplyDeleteDirty, rotten, filthy fruit (PCG) spawned from dirty, rotten, filthy fruit (WCG). Gerry will have to rochambeau Jesus for his "throne". I highly doubt old rubber ducky will give that up without a fight.
ReplyDeleteGood news for Gerry, though. He will be with his idol forever...just a slightly different location than expected.
Was suspended from the PCG 14 years ago. I remember like it was yesterday. I've observed how dramatically the doctrines and teachings have shifted in those 14 years. Teachings that are now even inconsistent with the HWA-authored publications they require prospective members to read and agree with before becoming members. Some of made sense to me 14 years ago (in the limited context of being a believing member), but it's absolute chaos at this point. God is not the author of confusion.
ReplyDelete“PCG Celebrating It's 33rd Year Of Spiritual Depravity”
ReplyDeleteNot just spiritual depravity. Physical depravity too. The PCG is a cult full of old sex maniacs, sex perverts, and predators. It is Gerald Flurry's satanic filth cult.
And I thought on December 7, we're supposed to remember Pearl Harbor.
ReplyDeleteI just noticed that leaning tower of Pisa cake has a crown on top! I wonder if old Gerry will have to have it whirled up in the blender before he can suck it through a royal straw?
ReplyDeleteHumpty Dumpty had a great fall and can no longer eat real royal food..only royal pudding. I dare say, many hope he chokes on it.

ReplyDelete"The PCG is a cult full of old sex maniacs, sex perverts, and predators."
Full of? You need to define your terms.
This is not a defense of the PCG, but from my two-plus decades experience as a member that is simply not true. Not in the least.
I thought Gerry fell in the toilet!
ReplyDeleteThey are just following HWA ministers' examples. Was in it for 10 years many years ago. Craig Winters use to spank his wife what a freak. Jeff Greaser used to brag that he bought his way into the ministry. He finally got kicked out for committing adultery with a woman he was counselling. One of their high-ranking minister was cheating on his wife with young ladies that attended their college. All this plus more in the 10 years we attended.
ReplyDeleteAnonymous at 1:03 PM, Perhaps you simply did not know what really went on in the PCG. If you spent “two-plus decades” in the PCG, you might have been a very slow learner who did not even know what was really going on around the so-called Church of God scene.
ReplyDeleteSatanic imposter cults like the PCG are full of word games and mind games as well as outright lying and slandering. They are not open and honest.
In the PCG, all the old sex maniacs, sex perverts, and predators who go there for their own selfish and immoral reasons talk about how they are doing so much for the younger people and are trying so hard to help them. You might wonder why the younger people do not want to go along with it and get kicked out for refusing all the endless so-called “help” from their elders.
It reminds me of the UCG splinter group describing the behavior of one of its dirty old men who liked to grab the breasts of a teenage girl as just showing grandfatherly affection and kicking out the girl for complaining about all the loving attention.
When the so-called COGs talk about all their love, it is not the agape love of the Bible. It is usually a more sensuous and selfish type of lust than that.
It's beyond my human comprehension that God would establish his "true" church on a bunch of lies. Flurry plagiarized the writings of Jules Dervaes, then had the gall to say that he, Flurry, got the message delivered to him by a "mighty angel." The message was actually delivered to Flurry by the USPS mailman. This has all been documented in detail before on the internet, along with the original version of Malachi's Message" that was obviously innfluenced by Dervaes' writings. Maybe Flurry was eating too many mushrooms at the time to know the difference. And,sadly, he never admitted the ruse to this day. He's a charlatan that gives Christiannity a bad name and he uses God's name in vain by claiming God has appointed him.
ReplyDeleteDecember 7, a day that lives forever in infamy. Japan attacks Pearl Harbor, David Pack's birthday, and the day PCG was concocted.
ReplyDeleteSome people used the PCG as an excuse to divorce their mate and pretend that they were doing it for God, and an opportunity to marry someone else so they could “grow more.” Others in the PCG encouraged them to do it. This can be expected from something like the PCG that teaches that “righteousness” consists of cutting off all contact with your own parents and children and listening only to That False Prophet.
ReplyDelete@Anon 4:48 pm
ReplyDeleteNothing in your post constitutes proof that the PCG is "full of" those people.
Again, not a defense of the PCG, I'm not longer a member. It's just a false statement.
Were there SOME people who did immoral things? Absolutely. Just as there are in the Catholic church, all levels of government, our schools and every other human institution. But to come on here and smear almost every person who was a member is just ridiculous. There are many well-intentioned people in cult groups who have simply been deceived. Doesn't make them all sex perverts. I knew these people very well.
Oh, and your personal attack about me being a "slow learner"... go F yourself.
I'd think you'd have a little more compassion for someone who is no longer part of a cult-like group, regardless of how long they were in it.
Did all of Gerald Flurry's “disfellowshipping in God's family love” make the PCG a happy place?
ReplyDeleteWhen the apostate Joseph W. Tkach, Sr. destroyed the Worldwide Church of God with his Great Apostasy of January 1995, some WCG people jumped into Gerald Flurry's waiting PCG cult because it used Herbert W. Armstrong's name and photograph to attract them. The MAJORITY of the people who tried the PCG quickly smartened up and left the PCG or got kicked out of it by the perverted local tyrants that Gerald had set up as fake PCG “ministers.” This all happened over twenty years ago. Since then, PCG attendance has continued to dwindle.
ReplyDeleteGerald Flurry had immediately suppressed the Great Commission to preach the gospel of the kingdom of God and replaced it with his “new commission” for a new church era of “warning the Laodiceans” by raging away like a demoniac against any WCG people who would not go along with him and help him to suppress the gospel. Gerald Flurry also soon claimed that he, rather than Jesus, was what he called “That Prophet” of Deuteronomy 18:18-19 that everyone was supposed to listen to.
There was certainly some STRONG DELUSION involved. The Devil's apostate Joseph Tkach, Jr. sold the copyrights to 19 of the WCG's old writings to Satan's false prophet Gerald Flurry so he could edit and change them while pretending to be faithfully holding fast to everything that HWA had taught.
From suppressing the true gospel to wrecking families with Gerald's No Contact Policy, the PCG is actually all about perverting and undoing the major teachings of HWA.
Questions for Anonymous at 6:13 AM: How could you spend “two-plus decades” in the PCG? Were you so busy chasing after the girls there that you did not even notice or care about what Gerald Flurry was teaching?
ReplyDeleteYou’re a real POS attempting to belittle someone who is a cult survivor. It was two decades because my parents joined when I was a child.
ReplyDeleteWhat is it with the chasing girls thing? You sound like a pervert with your accusations. Not surprised.
A bit incel-ish, isn't it?
DeleteYes, 7:26, Flurry is perverting HWA's perversions of Dugger and Dodd. It's all perverse.
ReplyDeleteThis is a weird place to be attacking people who have escaped these groups.
