PCG Losing Control of its Members

Those merchants of joylessness in the Philadelphia Church of God are throwing more obstacles up at members. Almost everything PCG members do nowadays is regulated by some idiot or closet case at the Edmond, OK compound.

Following is a little blurb from Exit and Support Network about a young woman who met a "worldly" man at a bar. Hats off to her for going to the bar in the first place, WITHOUT any minister's permission, and more kudos for finding the love of her life.

Given how miserable so many of the marriages are in the upper echelons of the PCG, the fact that this woman is happier than they are really frosts their self-righteous butts. I hope she did what was right and left the PCG as soon as she could.

Unmarried People No Longer Permitted to Go to Bars:
September 12, 2023

The PCG just announced that unmarried people are no longer permitted to go to bars. This hammer was thrown down likely in response to a young lady who recently met a “worldly” man in a bar. Losing one member is more than the organization can afford. After cracking down on social media use, smart phone ban for all children and adults, restricting the places of business that teens can work to shield them from people who may pull them out, and now restricting where people can go unwind and enjoy a drink is just the latest attempt at controlling the lives of their members. The PCG is losing control! –[name withheld]

  1. Those two old hags in the picture are telling the truth. Some horny old women went to the PCG to prey on much younger single guys. The horny old hags could get very frustrated, angry, and nasty if they did not get what they wanted.

  2. The PCG has no authority to impose whatever controls it wants. None. Did Herb impose these rules? No. Because they are not God's rules. These people are taking the place of God.

  3. The copycat doomsday cults that honor their dead pedophile leaders are the best at cultivating policies and social environments that really reach out to and drawl in balanced, emotionally-stable, single young adults. So you really don't need bars or the outside world at all. Just wait for that glossy doomsday pedo cult appeal to attract that quality mate.

  4. Not a single Church of God leader or minister has any authority to impose such rules on members. As long as they are spiritual rapists they have no power.

  5. The old male and female sex maniacs, sex perverts, and predators who go to the PCG to help themselves to the younger members while pretending to help them are really ungodly. The PCG is a satanic filth cult.

  6. The bible instructs in Deuteronomy 4:2 to not add or subtract from God's word. So such rules as not going to bars is usurping members rights. But these ACOGs, like all dictatorships, just double and triple down on their lording ways whenever any problem arises. To them, the ten commandments are the ten suggestions, and are to be ignored when dealing with real problems. Yep, it's bully morality that works and brings in the bacon. Kim Jong Un couldn't agree more.

    1. Well we do require our teens to pull their sagging pants up, don't we?

  8. Well, unlike Thiel's bunch, it looks like they can still watch football at Flurry's cult.

  10. Wake up, members of the PCG. Wake up and realize it’s truly a cult. God is not with Gerald Flurry. God was never with Herbert Armstrong. Get educated with cults and match it to the PCG. The world will always be evil, you are the change to make it good for yourself, for your family, for your community. Live life now before it’s too late being under the reigns of someone that is feeding off your paycheck. #exPCGmember

  11. This calls for some rulings.

If Tonto's right, and PCG singles at headquarters want to see the Sooners play football on TV (well, maybe home-town UCO), is it OK to watch them at a SPORTS bar?

You know - a place like Buffalo Wild Wings, which emphasizes food as much as alcohol?

Do unmarried members need to check every restaurant they plan to visit during the Feast for liquor licenses? Would that be grounds for automatic disqualification?

We need to take this Pharisee stuff all the way, you know.

  12. What is a bar?

Lots of restaurants have a bar in them. Can you sit at a table but not at the bar? Is a restaruant with a bar in it a bar? Or is it just a restaurant with a bar in it?

Is any restaurant that serves drinks a bar?

Looks like they will all be eating at MacDonalds at the feast. Of course, you might meet a cute cashier there.

  13. It is time that PCG members stand up for themselves. God does not want gutless weenines in his kingdom. Don't let that invalid Gerald Flurry push you around and be your god. Walk right into a bar and have a drink. Period. Not one damn thing wrong with it. Do it. Do you seriously think you are so weak or horny you will go home with the waitress? What a pile of crap. Don't let Flurry treat you like that. You are better than that. Who does that invalid think you are?

  14. Do not go to work, there are members of the opposite sex there. You might be tempted and succumb because you have no character and have no hope of building any.

Do not go to school, there are members of the opposite sex there. You might be tempted and succumb because you have no character and have no hope of building any.

Do not go to the grocery store, there are members of the opposite sex there. You might be tempted and succumb because you have no character and have no hope of building any.

Go live in a cabin in the wilderness. It is your only hope.

  15. With such a small dating pool, it is unlikely that a single person would find a match for their areas of interest, personality, intellect, or status in life. This means that the only common interest would in most cases be PCG. This makes for an unhealthy helping of desperation, and very fragile marriages.

  16. Excellently said Anon810. If one wake up from the PCG cult, then you will be unable to discuss this with your spouse unless the Lord saw fit and gave the most double of blessings...both spouses seeing the falsehoods at the same time.

  17. I wish either one of those 2 cuties in the b/w pic would try to pick me up, since the singles' scene at COG was so stale and bland they can put the rifle down and snag me up quick they look like Raquel Welch or Sophia Loren @ age 80
