Dave Pack's Latest Lie...It's June 11 and he is Elijah!
Oh that's where Pack got the 10 day thingy, from Christ ascending 10 days before Pentecost? If so the apostle Thomas did not see Jesus through 40 days. But it's possible the other apostles saw Christ late "Sunday" afternoon Nisan 16, and into the evening of Nisan 17 beginning at sunset, I'll call it "Monday", and then after 8 days Tuesday thru next Tuesday, Nisan 18 - 26, Thomas saw Jesus Wednesday Nisan 27, and 40 days later including Nisan 27 would be Sunday, Pentecost. Jesus may have ascended on Pentecost.
speaking to some members before i left, the biggest hold was the social aspect and that they liked it. so it is basically a social gospel and DCP like the drug he is, keeps their dopamine levels high enough, with his numerous amounts of prophecy bursts, numbing their attention span to a life in the truman show

If they no longer care what the Bible says about knowingly listening to spiritual insanity, they are at risk of an awful fate. Current RCG members really ought to study what the Bible says about ministers who act like Pack. Otherwise, they are no different from the very nice people who treasured the "social aspect" of life with the People's Temple, who knew that the "suicide drills" were just a lot of Jim Jones' quirky nonsense... until the day they weren't nonsense anymore.
....strong delusion - 2Thess 2:11? Biblehub/lexicon states energeia, Greek for "strong", in the NT is confined to superhuman activity.
ReplyDeleteThis is confusing - which I guess is no surprise.
ReplyDeleteDidn't the apostles ask Jesus the Acts 1 question before Pentecost?
And didn't big things happen ON Pentecost - with nothing said about something bigger 10 days later?
