Dave Pack: God Chose Me and Anointed Me
Bob Thiel has been absolutely devastated to learn that God has chosen and anointed Dave Pack. Now we know that Bob isn't so special after all!
That is the limit of what God has done with Dave. Who knew?
DCP's God is Yahweh, the devil not Abba Father! His statement is 100% correct.
- 2 Samuel 24:1 - "And again the anger of the LORD [Yahweh] was kindled against Israel, and he [Yahweh] moved David against them to say, Go, number Israel and Judah"
- 1 Chronicles 21:1 - "And Satan [Yahweh] stood up against Israel, and provoked David to number Israel"
11.43, your bible verses brings to mind Jesus paying the temple tax via a silver coin in a fish that Peter caught. It was a maneuver to get around a legal point. It's similar to David being incited to number Israel. My understanding is that God can punish individuals and nations for specific sins, but not for a poor character. This is out of respect for the parable of the talents with its differing character levels. Hence when Israel had a moral slide, God 'justified' punishing the nation by provoking David to commit a serious sin.
