  1. Vile picture mocking our Lord. Disgusting song lyrics. No Christian should listen to the noise the less educated call rap. Satan hates this time of year, so he is more active than usual.

    2. 6:18, you’re so on brand. Anyone that listens to hip hop is “less educated and not Christian”. Brainwashed and racist much? What a COG tool lol. You’re narrow minded and clearly a self righteous, arrogant, white ignoramus. In other words, the average COG’er

  2. Very cool, although I would not classify it as rap. Sounds more like that good old Gospel music I've always loved. Kudos to CGI for recognizing and embracing it.

I liked it when the style crossed over into the mainstream. One of my fave examples was "I Need Your Loving" by Don Gardner and Dee Dee Ford. Check it out, it's on YouTube.

Also, "I Found a True Love" by Wilson Pickett. Check it out.

  4. BB. I loved that Don Gardner/Dee Dee Ford song (and still do). Still play it at least a couple of times a year. As I recall, it came out in 1962 when I was a senior in high school. When it came on the car radios high school kids in my town would pull their cars over to the curb, crank the volume up and dance in the streets. It was a joyous time. Glenn Parker

    1. Hey, Glenn, it was played regularly all through that summer on KLIF when I was a teenager attending SEP in Big Sandy. The jocks on KLIF used the Whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa excerpt in a Jax Beer commercial as reaction to the taste test.
