There is Vatican report that seems supportive of what the Bible warns about from the coming Beast power:

VATICAN CITY (CNS) — A Vatican document called for the gradual creation of a world political authority with broad powers to regulate financial markets and rein in the “inequalities and distortions of capitalist development.”
The document said the current global financial crisis has revealed “selfishness, collective greed and the hoarding of goods on a great scale.” A supranational authority, it said, is needed to place the common good at the center of international economic activity.
The 41-page text was titled, “Toward Reforming the International Financial and Monetary Systems in the Context of Global Public Authority.” Prepared by the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace, it was released Oct. 24 in several languages, including a provisional translation in English. http://www.catholicnews.com/data/stories/cns/1104173.htm
The Bible warns that the Beast’s and Harlot’s Babylonian system will be stopped:
1 After these things I saw another angel coming down from heaven, having great authority, and the earth was illuminated with his glory. 2 And he cried mightily with a loud voice, saying, “Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and has become a dwelling place of demons, a prison for every foul spirit, and a cage for every unclean and hated bird! 3 For all the nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth have become rich through the abundance of her luxury.”While I do not believe that it is the Vatican’s intention to support the fulfilling of the prophecies in Revelation 13, it does seem to have taken another step in that direction.
4 And I heard another voice from heaven saying, “Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues. 5 For her sins have reached to heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities. 6 Render to her just as she rendered to you, and repay her double according to her works; in the cup which she has mixed, mix double for her. 7 In the measure that she glorified herself and lived luxuriously, in the same measure give her torment and sorrow; for she says in her heart, ‘I sit as queen, and am no widow, and will not see sorrow.’ 8 Therefore her plagues will come in one day — death and mourning and famine. And she will be utterly burned with fire, for strong is the Lord God who judges her. (Revelation 18:1-8)
For Prophet Thiel the Catholic Church is the Great Whore of Babylon and is gearing up to impose Sunday worship on the entire world. When that happens the "true church" ( i.e Living Church of God) will no longer be able to operate openly and will need to flee to Petra where Rod Meredith will proclaim boldly from the Petra Best Western God's end time witness to the world.
Yep, you got that right! There is no way in hell Spanky will be inside Petra cavorting with the regular folk. He will have a luxury suite out side the entrance on a luxury hotel. God will protect that hotel and all of it's workers because they allowed Spanky to stay there. Then his message as an end time witness can go forth. The question is, who is witness #2?
ReplyDeleteI guess Thiel has never heard of the International Monetary Fund, which in and of itself, has considerable power.
ReplyDeleteAs the world's population has continued to grow, many stategists and top thinkers have realized that the only way to effectively manage some of the problems and challenges is, indeed a global approach. That is a no-brainer, and it's something which has been suggested as the solution for a great number of ills.
Global regulation of religious beliefs is something altogether different from global management of secular issues. Political thinking from the past decades has a working history of making a distinction between the two. Even Adolf Hitler did not enforce Sunday keeping as he exterminated the Jews.
Because of their beliefs that the RCC came from Simon Magus contaminating the early Christian church with Babylonian dogma, rather than the RCC simply evolving from Paul's churches of the gentiles, WCG has an irrational fear of Cathlolicism. Evangelicals believe that the one world religion to be imposed by the Beast will be New Age. Others take their cues from the descriptions of the martyrs in Revelation, who died from being beheaded, something that the Moslems do to their alleged heretics. The Catholics always burned theirs.
It's imformative to realize that Babylon was located in what is known today as Iraq. Sadam Hussein was gradually restoring Babylon at the time of his demise. There has been speculation among Biblical scholars that the Beast power would be involved not in a resurgence of the Roman Empire, but the Ottoman empire instead. In a way, that scenario makes good sense, because it involves Israel's traditional enemies.
Regardless at to what does or does not happen, the important thing to remember is the the ACOGs are not the gatekeepers to our protection, though they all try to insert themselves into this role.

Maybe witness #2 will be Ron Weinland and his wife, since they are co-witnesses. Maybe it takes two combined as one to equal the witnessing of the other ONE witness. But I'll admit that is pure conjecture on my part. The way I look at it, if the so-called leadership can guess, so can I.
ReplyDeleteI vote for Norway heading up the world financial system, one of the very few countries in the world with no national debt. Oh, wait. That's not quite what the Vatican had in mind ... or the organized crime in Italy that controls the Vatican Bank.
ReplyDeleteI wonder what the more reasonable members of LCOG (there have to be a few) think of this nut job. I mean Spanky is bad enough, but you have little Bobby acting pretty much as an official mouth peace. I know I wouldn't want that kook to represent me in any way- although if you need to "detox" or need enema information, he may be your man.
ReplyDeleteHow many times do the Armstrongists have to be entirely wrong before people stop believing in their inane rubbish blathering lies?
