Dave Pack is giddy with delight right now with the fact the the recent news story about his cult HQ expansion has traveled all around the country and to some of the foreign press. It's not like these papers were awed by the news they heard about Packs new HQ. The fact is, they are all part of a paper syndicate that shares stories when there is nothing else worthwhile to post. Most are home town papers.
Pack has taken this as God's hand at work in exposing his ministry as the largest and most important Church of God in human history. To give further credence to his magnificence he quotes part of a letter that he received from the Mayor of Wadsworth:
“Congratulations on the Beacon Journal Article. I thought the article was quite good and you certainly received prime placement! The Restored Church of God has called Wadsworth their home for many years now, and we look forward to the development of the campus for their headquarters. It will certainly be a welcome addition to our community. It has been a pleasure to work with The Restored Church of God with their plans and we are appreciative they chose Wadsworth for their exciting expansion.”
This Mayor is probably like the Mayors of Pasadena that paid lip service to the WCG over the years, showed up for events and concerts and then laughed at and talked behind the backs of the very chruch officials they were drinking with hours earlier.
Perhaps it is time to let the Mayor of Wadsworth know what kind of cult he has in his midst!

Accordingto the command of Scripture to mark those who cause divisions, I hereby mark David Pack as causing divisions.
ReplyDeleteNo believer is to have anything to do with him, he is in the bond of Satan and we are not to associate with him in any way or listen to him and his false prophecies until such time as brings forth the fruit of repentance.
This isn't really a prophecy or anything, but it seems fairly clear that anyone waiting for the fruit of repentance within David Pack is going to have to wait a very long time.
Believers are reminded the admonition in II Timothy 3, "From such, turn away" and the command in Proverbs not to go with an angry man.
And the foregoing is not restricted to David Pack, but to all founders, leaders and ministers associated with the teachings of Herbert Armstrong, who himself was responsible for divisions, 700+ and counting now.
Just why is it that the Armstrongists never seem to do what the Bible says and must wait for atheists and agnostics to do it for them (with the able help of a very few believers?
