Dave Pack: Jesus Will Actively Start Shepherding His Flock on August 6/7, 2013

I guess the wimpy dude has not been taking care of his flock for the last couple thousand years, but now will decide to return rather pissed off.

Jesus Christ is a shepherd. He is about to again actively shepherd His flock—on Elul 1 (August 6/7). What should He now be expected to do to wolves now in His path? What would any good shepherd do when he sees wolves close by—in this case among and over—his flock? Remove them! II Peter 2 describes “swift destruction” falling on certain false teachers. At a point, their “judgment” no longer “lingers” and their “damnation” no longer “slumbers.” We have almost reached this time.

  1. Sorry: Jesus is just not compatible with Olde Testament Christianity (you CoHA leaders need to look up Oliver Cromwell to see where your religion really comes from).

  2. Good. From everything he has written previously, it would have been only natural to assume that Dave, widely recognized as being a total asshole, would be shepherding the flock retaining many of the bogus theories of HWA, and adding some new ones of his own.

I personally believe that Jesus never stopped shepherding His flock, but that that flock has nothing to do with the false and toxic religion known as Armstrongism. If Dave and others will back out of the way, and truly allow Jesus Christ to lead, we can be assured of positive results. Problem is, we can almost be assured (conclusion supported by Dave's lying autobiography) that Dave will continue to inappropriately insert himself into God's work.

Go home, Dave. Sell vitamins. At least you were truly helping people when you were doing that!

Once again, a mere Bible reader minister trained at the level of a glorified Sunday School teacher who has a tendency to twist scriptures to mean what they never meant and attributes "swift" and "no longer lingers" to a time 2000 years down the road to it's intended audience. Like the "things which must shortly come to pass" in Revelation which is read by every generation over the past 2000 years to mean them, 2 Peter was not talking about about today. It is certainly not written with your strange ideas in mind.

("I want to make a statement about...me...now, if I became deceived, I will never tell you what I'm going to tell you now...I am telling you if I go off into strange ideas, misconduct, rebellion, you name it, don't follow me. I want to tell you that now, because if I start doing that I'm gonna try to get you to follow me! I'm gonna come to you and tell you it doesn't apply, it doesn't mean me, no, no, no, no, no, no, it's OK to follow me because ABCD and XY and Z. DO YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT I AM SAYING? Listen to me now, when I tell you don't follow me if I go off into WEIRD IDEAS, or if I get off into other things that are total absolutely unscriptural conduct, because if I do I'm gonna paint it with a different face AND TRY TO GET YOU TO FOLLOW ME. Do you understand what I'm saying brethren? PLEASE RMEMBER THAT, because I promise you that if I become deceived, I'll forget it, and I'll want you to forget it...And I hope you'll remember it well enough to quote it right back to me...But I'll tell you what, I'm not going anywhere." You Know Who )

Sorry....I love that quote...It just works for me.

anyway....It was talking to those people back then. It says that in the text. It is a common trick of biblicists to read the text as if it was written to them at any time since it's intended audience is now long dead.

Time was short and soon was soon back 2000 years ago. The day was far spent 2000 years ago. The hour now is was 2000 years ago. It is the last time, was 2000 years ago. I know you block these concepts out of your mind but you will learn the hard way they don't block easily when reality comes calling. Thank you at least for not making us wait 3 and half years as Weindland did.

Twist away Dave. 2 Peter, not generally held to actually have been written by Peter, but that would be actual theology which is something you don't know anything about, is not talking about your views of COG ministers or those that seem to get in your way. They weren't written with you in mind or the next 30 days.

Jesus is not finally, now that you are in place going to Shepherd the flock. He's not waiting for your permission and probably is not tending the flock you think. I don't know what flock he tends to be honest but that's just me. But I do at least want to give you credit for saying the word "Jesus" for a chage. Is the criticism getting to you that the word can't be found in any of your sermon titles or hymnal? I think this is an epic first and you should be congratulated for spitting the word "Jesus" out . Combining it with Shephard is overarching and awesome. I'm proud of you. I thought for sure it would be "Christ" alone who would drive the wolves away but you said "Jesus Christ" I'm impressed.

Now if we can just get your sense of Biblical history and context straightened out, we're all going to feel a lot better. I know at least three gentleman who will anyway.
