Which Church of God Will Soon Be Shut Down by the U.S. Government?

I will give you one guess.....it's god's most doubly blessed prophet to ever exist in 1,900 years of TRUE Christianity!

Prophet/ Chief Overseer, authority on Catholicism, and worlds foremost authority on the Mayan's is warning his little itty-bitty flock of deceived followers that the United States government will soon be shutting down his YouTube account and stopping the broadcasting/publishing of his message.

Thiel is reacting to news out of Houston, Texas today about the Mayor who has subpoenaed the sermons and notes of several preachers.

Thiel writes:

Was sent the link to the following today related to some Houston pastors’ sermon notes on homosexuality being subpoenaed by the government there:

The city of Houston has issued subpoenas demanding a group of pastors turn over any sermons dealing with homosexuality, gender identity or Annise Parker, the city’s first openly lesbian mayor. And those ministers who fail to comply could be held in contempt of court.
This is another example of how far the USA is moving away from its founding documents as well as the Bible. During the Feast of Tabernacles this year, before I heard of the above, I mentioned that the position of the Continuing Church of God related to subjects like abortion and homosexuality could be used by one or more governments as an excuse to pull us off the internet.

In the past I have also warned:
Various governments (like that of the USA and those in Europe) may secretly work to come up with reasons to pull us off the internet.

The work (in the Amos 8:11-12 sense), as I indicted, is likely to be stopped by government officials (like on the internet, radio, etc.) and persecutions began because people of the holy covenant are warning the world of the results of their sins (which they will not want pointed out) and teaching that the King of the North is fulfilling these prophecies in Daniel 11. The faithful will likely be saying things that are not “politically correct” to the point that one or more governments will take action (especially if we are saying, and I expect to help do this, that a certain individual is the King of the North and that he will invade and destroy the USA, Canada, United Kingdom, etc.). Yet, God’s work still will be accomplished and the final phase of the work completed.. The Bible tells of a time, which to a degree we are now in, when a certain amount of self-censorship will be needed:
2 For I know your manifold transgressions And your mighty sins: Afflicting the just and taking bribes; Diverting the poor from justice at the gate. 13 Therefore the prudent keep silent at that time, For it is an evil time. (Amos 5:12-13)
And while some COG groups overly “keep silent,” hence pull too many punches in proclamation, the reality is that there is not truly full freedom of truthful speech in countries like the USA without consequences. However, the work will be done and it will trigger persecution. Until the work is done the most faithful will:
1 Cry aloud, spare not; Lift up your voice like a trumpet; Tell My people their transgression, And the house of Jacob their sins. (Isaiah 58:1) .
The actual and intended monitoring by government entities on religious topics does not bode well for the world.

  1. It's really strange how two effeminate men like Rod Meredith and Bob Thiel are so eager to tell the world that GOD HATES FAGS.

Listening to them, you might almost think that God doesn't really care so much if you abuse your parents, lust after women, covet widows' mites and tell lies about it all.

  2. Maybe it's about time for a new article, "The Plain Truth About Bitter Men" ?

  3. Thiel speaks about the government shutting him down as if that would somehow be a bad thing. Certainly someone ought to do it!

Imagine how wonderful it would have been if only HWA had been arrested as a traitor for anti-American speech during WWII!

Not to mention raping your own daughter. Not only is this a curious omission among all the biblical prohibitions against nuclear family relations, but given their idolatry of man who did rape his own daughter, one might think that these guys think that their god really, really, really doesn't care about that in the slightest.

  7. Hey, take him down anyway we can get him. Seems like there is no shortage of options. HWA was not a good man.

So far as Thiel goes, while he isn't going viral on youtube, his hits are in the thousands, especially for his Obama manifesto. I compare this to eclectic things that I like, such as Stoneground's Colonel Chicken Fry, studio version, and live version, both of which are now up over 1,000 views. Sal Valentino is much easier to listen to, though. I'm no profiler, but it appears to me that Thiel has the potential to become dangerous at some point in the future. Most people fear obvious badasses, but finky people have been known to be just as menacing, depending on their particular fixations, and motivations.

  8. To these idiots, if you are not one of us you are EVIL or even if you are one of us.

"Imagine how wonderful it would have been if only HWA had been arrested as a traitor for anti-American speech during WWII! - Biker Bob. I often wonder why he wasn't. He must have been way beneath the radar or he surely would have been.

HAH! Or else the American government has always given a lot more freedom of speech for religious folks than for the rest of us peons who don't matter.

  9. Maybe I'll write to the US Government,(whoever that is),and tell them to hurry up and shut Thiel the hell up!!

  10. The most "continuing" thing about the Continuing Church of God is that it's effeminate anti-gay guru Thiel continues to get more and more delusional.

There's something odd going in his brain-
His nutty teachings haven't resulted in the big following he thinks he's worthy of, so his brain invents things like secret planning by the world's leading governments to persecute him, double-doses of who-knows-what, special prophetic understandings, insights galore, etc, in order to keep believing in his self-imagined importance.

Actually, imagined persecution and imagined righteousness are all too common traits in the landscape of Christianity today.
"Dr." Bob Thiel's nuttiness is just an amplified version of a more common problem.

If there's any silver lining to Bob's nuttiness, maybe it's that Bob's amplified versions of the more common ills of Christianity can help to make those things more visible to the individuals and organizations who may then become somewhat more healthy by moving away from such proclivities.

Only if there's a tinfoil hat involved.

It's your right (in America anyway) to follow your religious beliefs within reason. If sociopath A wants you to give 30% of your income to him and you see him as speaking for God, you are allowed to do it. That's not to say there can't be societal watchdogs but wanting government action is a slippery slope. In a lot of cases, yes it's the very same as being taken by a scam artist.

  13. I do recall the video in which Thiel though the Vatican was keeping tabs on him. That small incident is all you need to know regarding little Double Helping Bob's narcissism.

  14. Tinfoil hats should be reserved for special occasions- like for when people claim to know that Jesus is now busy raising people from the dead, finding their lost car keys, or helping their favorite sports teams win.

Jesus doesn't want tinfoil hats given out just willy-nilly - such as in a rational explanation of why Thiel claims the strange things he does.

Last I checked, Jesus had included "imagined persecution" and "imagined righteousness" to the list of proclivities of people worthy of his tinfoil hat rewards.
