Except for those in the Church of God
David Passover is still dreaming that scores of COG ministers and members will soon be jumping ship into his personality cult. They are just itching to do it! They are desperately seeking to be restored to unity under David Passovers regime. As if ANY of them care about Dave Passover!
Sermon 2 20:00
I could take you through United, COGWA, LCG, all of them, they all have their own way of saying – another guy named Frank Nelte, who's kinda one of those gurus out there; a lot of people give him credence – and they all say the same thing: these are the two witnesses. Now, they all see Mr. Armstrong was not Elijah and they don't know who Moses is and think no one can know. They simply fall back on, "these are the two witnesses." You'll see more of their reasoning later. These men took a right conclusion to a wrong end. They are outside God's Church, but brethren, they desperately want to be back together again under an Elijah who will restore them to unity; that's good! How wonderful that they are going to, number 1, get what they're looking for, and 2, much sooner than they expect – because they think it's gonna happen at the time we're taken to the place of safety – just not in the way they expect. They'll get over that real fast when they find out we'll spend years together in unity before we go to protection. Brethren, we can rejoice for them now; they're our brothers and sisters in Christ, and you can rejoice for them, I do; they'll rejoice later. But they are members one of another, they're not in the Body again yet, but we can rejoice in anticipation.
Wait a minute. Lemme see if I can figure this one out...
ReplyDelete"United, COGWA, LCG, all of them...another guy named Frank Nelte...They are outside God's Church...they're not in the Body..."
Okay, so "god's church" is just RCG? If you're not in RCG, then you might as well be an atheist drug-dealing pimp, a muslim, a Pygmy in Africa, etc. Being a part of UCG, COGWA, LCG or some other COG means you're lost in that huge pit of filth called "the world." So why mention them but not Lutherans, Hindus, or the band members of KISS?
"Brethren, we can rejoice for them now; they're our brothers and sisters in Christ..."
Whaaaaaa??? How can they be "not in the body" and yet "our brothers and sisters in Christ"??? What are the other non-RCG ACOGs? Some sort of purgatory? Neither one nor the other? Sure, man, whatever. Makes NO sense...
"Now, they all see Mr. Armstrong was not Elijah and they don't know who Moses is and think no one can know...These men took a right conclusion to a wrong end. Soooo, in WCG, everyone was "in the body" (HA!) but then WCG apostatized, and everyone who stayed or walked out took a left turn, and ONLY Dave Pack and his followers took the "right" turn? Let's just speculate that Dave Pack could be correct for a second (but no longer) and that the only way to stay on the "straight and narrow" was to take the RIGHT "sharp turn" (HA!)... HOW on EARTH could ANYBODY be expected to figure out WHICH detour would keep them on the proverbial "straight and narrow"? Dave is so busy contradicting himself, how can he spout this pretzel-logic with a straight face?
The only "right conclusion" I hear among all this gibberish is that HWA was NOT Elijah. That's true. He also wasn't anything else prophetic, semi-divine, or heaven sent. He was a vile individual. So no one was ever on any "straight and narrow" to begin with. Thinking anything other than the same about Dave Pack and his corporation is definitely taking that "right conclusion" to a VERY wrong end.
If Armstrongist chumps so "desperately want to be back together again under an Elijah who will restore them to unity," what does Dave Pack think is stopping them? The fact that they loathe him so much they would even more desperately perfer to be thrown alive into a lake of molten sulphur than have to cast their lot in with him? Now that's desperation isn't it?
If you're still hanging on in the ACOGs, please, dare to question your foundational assumptions!
'Desperately' is the operative word.
ReplyDeleteThis is such B.S. Pack has saying for at least 10 years (how all these established ministers in all these different organizations) want to come with RCG.
ReplyDeleteHe has gotten a few, but he has mostly ordained a bunch of "yes men", family, & friends to aide in his charade.
Most of the ministers in other groups totally ignore him. With what he has taught the past several years, they have wrote him off as another kook.
He has taught this "out of body" nonsense for the whole existence of RCG. It just doesn't add up, and is nothing but a clever contradiction.
