True COG Members Warned To Download All HWA Material On Thumb-drives Before Government Confiscates It All

Extremist Armstrongites on Yahoo are preparing for horrible times ahead for Church of God faithful as the government will soon be shutting down all "true" COG sites, confiscating booklets, videos, and publications.  Angry leftists will soon be confiscating everything that Herbert Armstrong ever published and will be destroying it.  Dire warnings warn true believers to download it all on thumb-drives and put it in safe deposit boxes in banks.  Also be prepared to guard it with your rifle!

So.....putting all of those booklets on thumb-drives in banks is a smart idea when every single COG false prophet claims the banks will soon fail?  Not a very bright idea.

Sooner or later, all such sites will be shut down. I would strongly suggest downloading every bit of old material you can WHILE you can. Even if you own paper copies of the booklets and magazines you need to have digital copies as well. If you have a safe deposit box at your local bank, you should, I would suggest backing up all your Church material on a thumb drive and putting it in there. Don't rely on a cloud service....to put it bluntly, if you can't stand in front of it and guard it with your rifle...you don''t really own it.

Yahoo is the appropriate place of these yahoo's.

  1. Warning! Download all the posts here on BANNED, before they are BANNED!

  2. Remember floppy disks, SyQuest drive, etc. Computer technology changes so fast, that most likely thumbs drive will be obsolete in a few years. Your computer of tomorrow probably could not read the devices.

  3. And what happens to the thumb drives when the country gets a EMP surge? The thumb drives turn to shit. I would suggest something but I wont. Herbies crap should have expired Jan. 16th, 1986.

  4. They only wish they could ever be so important.

  5. Oh, don't they wish that their apostle were quite so important! Bottom line is that nobody even remembers HWA's name, let alone believing that his works were important enough, or controversial enough to require banning or destroying! This is nothing more than a validation fantasy for a people whose "apostle's"
    Armageddon somehow never comes.

We should all be so fortunate that every memory of old Hog Jowls would be blotted out like the Antenicene fathers did to the written works of Simon Magus! But, he's just not that important. HWA is a minor footnote to the history of Adventism.

  6. The truth be known, the Gov. couldn't care less about any of the COG's. They just don't rate in any form other then a nuisance, if that.
Nothing comes out of any of the groups that would warrant any kind of threat to anyone other then their own membership.
That "meat in due season" is as it has always been, rotten to the core.

  7. Lets say the govt does confiscate all "true" COG materials.

At least then we'll know which, out all the varied, contradictory, and ever-changing declarations and claims to know the mind of god, were the "true" ones. Even during his lifetime Herbie couldn't make up his mind on most things.

  8. 6.02 PM An EMP surge cannot penetrate a 'Faraday box,' ie a metal container. This is why some thumb drives have a metal casing. Putting any thumb drive in a metal box, or wrapping it in aluminum foil, will protect it.

  9. A metal box protects against the EMP, but not the blast and heat that follow an atomic explosion. After that, our least worries will be about HWA writings, survival will be first.

But don't cha know Jesus, er, Christ is returning in just 3 to 5 short years?

  11. Meanwhile, most Christians would be worrying about the availability of a Bible during hard times.

Rabid COGgers always seem to repeat the mantra "Oh, but we don't follow a man! We follow God's word!" And then, to prepare for persecution or dire circumstances in the future, we see where their priorities really are and always have been: in the works of one man in whom the rely more than in Jesus Christ.

  12. I guess the assumption is that everything HWA wrote is absolutely correct....

  13. Hog jowls? Reckon ol Herbie and Granny Clampitt had something in common!

  14. Im wrapping my head right now with aluminum foil to make sure that my precious brain cells will not be penetrated by an EMP blast!

  15. Oh, how distressing that you published this. Now I am terrified that government agents (FBI? Homeland Security? Secret Service? State police or local sheriff under federal orders?) will rummage through the horrible piles of junk in my garage and find the box of WCG booklets and magazines I inherited from my mother. If they find them, they will naturally assume that the junky old single-shot 12 gauge I keep next to the door to clear rabbits from my garden is part of an arsenal for supplying Christian soldiers with armament to purge the Satan-inspired secularism infiltrating our government. They will send me off to prison. And the worst part is, Ron Weinland is now out of prison, so I won't even have him to fellowship with and bear witness together.

  16. In fact, Professor, let's collect it all, package it, and and resell it to NRA members as decoys. Since it is obviously going to be the top hazard to national security in a martial law situation, law enforcement will be giving priority to it, and might ignore all of the the 2nd Amendment goodies that might be laying around the house!

    LOL!

  17. I'm also waiting for the food riots in U.S. streets, which some UCG members have expected since Barack Obama became President. (I think there was one several years ago, but that was about it.)

And I'm also waiting for Mr. Obama to call off the election, and declare himself dictator. I had a UCG member personally tell me he expected that.

Now IF that happens, the thumb drive might come out. But....

  18. American could have food riots. It could have a societal break down. It could have martial law. It most assuredly could have an economic collapse and race wars. But to say these assholes who run the government would give a rats ass about some obscure child molesting preacher is a stretch beyond the imagination.

The acog's are always looking for persecution. The reason being is that it validates the teachings of their false prophets. Its a way to deny that they wasted their entire lives in pursuit of a fallacy. The smart ones wake up and rebuild their lives.

  19. A thumb drive will serve no purpose if there are no computers to access material on. As usual, a majority of the ministry and lay members alike, are not focusing on God, but a man.

Here is our REAL thumb drive: 18Therefore shall ye lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets between your eyes. 19And ye shall teach them your children, speaking of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. 20And thou shalt write them upon the door posts of thine house, and upon thy gates: 21That your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, in the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers to give them, as the days of heaven upon the earth.
    (Deuteronomy 11:18-21)

When the time comes (and I believe it will), if the word of the Bible is imbedded in your mind and in your heart, then you will have all of the comfort you need, to see you through whatever comes your way.

    That's all.

  20. Prof, you use a shotgun to keep the rabbits away?? You awful man, shooting those nice cute bunny rabbits. You are like Elmer Fudd with his shotgun, getting his 'waskidy wabbits.'

  21. How hilarious! We're concerned about EMP blasts destroying HWA materials, when it was an HWA blast that did so much more catastrophic damage to all of our lives! Too bad our parents didn't wear space blanket-lined clothing while listening to the radio!

  22. from Topic Header:-

"Sooner or later, all such sites will be shut down. I would strongly suggest downloading every bit of old material you can WHILE you can."

If you are a "True Blue" I would suggest that has already been done. Have just rediscovered an awesome scripture in the book of John. It is this:-
"Joh 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Spirit (ie.the Attitude of Yehovah), whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you." (insert and bolding mine)

So really, all you need is a Red Letter AKJ and your Strong's concordance. Forget the others. At this stage it may be a good idea to start reading your Red Letter Bible again.

    cheers

  23. Anon 1:17 AM, did you ever see a wascally wabbit viciously attack a young cabbage plant? The poor defenseless leaves get clipped off, then disappear into that horrid leporine maw like a miniature version of branches tossed into a woodchipper. The eerie silence of the process somehow makes it even more horrifying than the ripping sound of a chipper.

The sudden clean thunderclap of the shotgun obliterating the varmint is a fitting contrast to its silent surreptitious destruction of innocent vegetables.
