Dave Pack: The Restored Church of God is...a gigantic, Earth-rattling Work—one so far-reaching it will stagger the mind—one that cannot be fully comprehended until it’s seen—that upon hearing of it most won’t believe it!

Never has there been such a superfantabulous Church of God.  Nothing Paul, Peter, James, Jesus, William Miller, Herbert Armstrong, Rod Meredith nor any other COG human leader has ever been as awesome as Dave.  The angels surrounding the heavenly realm stand in awe of Dave.  No one has written more booklets or magazine articles.  No one has ever preached longer sermons as long or filled with as many numbered points as Dave.  No one has a gated driveway to his cult compound that is as awesome as Dave's.  No one has a campus as beautiful and awesome as Dave's.  It's all just freakin awesome!!!

“Marvelous Work and Wonder”

During the mustard seed Kingdom, vast numbers will come to know these Bible truths in what God, through the prophet Habakkuk, calls a “marvelous Work.” Notice: “Behold you among the [nations], and regard, and wonder marvelously: for I will work a work in your days, which you will not believe, though it be told you” (1:5). In Scripture, a “Work” represents God’s servants’ teaching and warning all who will listen. Will you believe advance report of this Work?
The prophet Isaiah powerfully underscores what Habakkuk foretold: “Behold, I will proceed to do a marvelous work among this people, even a marvelous work and a wonder [a miracle]: for the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hid” (29:14).
Paul also cited Habakkuk in the book of Acts, altering it slightly: “Beware therefore, lest that come upon you, which is spoken of in the prophets [Habakkuk]; Behold, you despisers, and wonder, and perish: for I work a work in your days, a work which you shall in no wise believe, though a man declare it unto you” (13:40-41).
This means we should expect a gigantic, Earth-rattling Work—one so far-reaching it will stagger the mind—one that cannot be fully comprehended until it’s seen—that upon hearing of it most won’t believe it!

  1. Don't forget the steaks, there were extra steaks:

After everyone was served they counted them out and there were two extra!

    Ha, ha, ha!

  2. The bad news for Dave is that he's just a carny barker. He's not going to be it, and he's not going to be in it. Delusion is powerful at its apex, but it's a mighty bad scene when it crashes.

Dave is right. I won't believe him.

Only his RCG members will get rattled.

  6. This is something that I don't like among World Wide Church of God offshoots' leaders of the flock, some of them have the guts to say that they have better knowledge or better than the rest of the prophets in the Bible. Prophets who have spoken with God face to face, directly, and have sacrificed their lives to the point of PRISON, BEING SAWED IN TWO, GOING HUNGRY, EMPTY, BETRAYED. And yet these leaders equate themselves to these prophets who know God face to face. Ah, Let someone praise you instead of your own mouths, Proverbs 27:2.

  7. Of course we won't believe it- because Dave is saying it and Dave is a certified liar!

  8. 6.41 PM there is a bias in the human mind toward letting others praise you rather than yourself. Interesting how advertisers get around this by using diplomacy: '9 out of 10 doctors (or whatever) prefer product A.'

Maybe successful businessman BB can give us tips on promoting ones business without offending.

  9. Anonymous at 6:41 PM, I like your way of thinking:

PRISON, BEING SAWED IN TWO, GOING HUNGRY, EMPTY, BETRAYED

    Perhaps it's true.

Maybe if David Pack is sawed in two, he'll have more accurate prophecies!

You know, I've not been seeing any RCG members coming to his defense.

    Did I just miss them?

  10. As has been the pattern in this series, Scriptures have been taken out of context, historical facts have been dismissed, obvious ignorance of the audience to which these prophecies were directed has been manifested, so here goes, for whatever it’s worth:

Acts 13:41, “Behold, ye despisers, (Jews, Paul’s audience), and wonder, and perish: for I work a work in your days, a work which ye shall in no wise believe, though a man (Paul) declare it unto you”.

    Who? God
What? Raising Christ from the dead
Why? By Him all that believe are justified from all things from which ye could not be justified by the Law of Moses (verse 39)
When? Verse 32-33, we declare (right then and there) glad tidings=gospel, read the rest if you like
How? The rest of verse 33 by calling Jesus Christ, “Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee…..no more to return to corruption…(NO, HE IS NOT COMING BACK AS A MAN!!)
Where? Verse 31, he was seen many days of them which came up with him from Galilee to Jerusalem

There you are, now that was not so difficult, was it?

  11. That too, I am also angry that the word of God have been maligned, misused, taken out of the wrong meaning most of the time, although there are many bible verses to support in other areas. The training is that the Bible is a coded book and interpret its own, yet these leaders have the guts to mis-apply and fulfill their own appetites. The word of God interprets itself why do we have to look for clues and apply this to our personal agenda and make us appear like clowns. It is very saddening that we WCG offshoots are destroying each other, but these pastors of the flock, are also a mess. Maybe that's why Christ called it The Church of the LAODICEAN/S (Plural), we are all in it still, even if you have rejected the belief. We don't really need a man leader to complete us anyway. Colossians 2:10. I say therefore, watch them all!
