UCG Minister Accused Of Killing His Wife Is Back Out On Bail For Second Time

United Church of God minister Stephen Allwine has posted bail for the second time.  His family has put up the money for the bail again.

After his rearrest the other day for attempting to contact his son, the judge set a new bail amount:

Allwine appeared Wednesday in front of Judge Mary Hannon. She raised unconditional bail to $1.5 million — originally $1 million — and conditional bail to $600,000. The judge ordered Allwine to have no contact with his son or Amy Allwine’s parents.

  1. It's hard to fathom that even though his family are technically the ones posting the bail that it's actually coming from their own coffers. It's been thought that Steve Allwine could be funding his own bail via the same Bitcoin reserves he used to make Dark Web purchases and hire hitmen (1 BTC = ~$1050 right now).

In Minnesota, if the money is being paid in full to the court itself, he stands to get all of that bail money back if he's found not guilty.

If his family is paying in full to the court, they must think he's innocent, because then they would get their bail money back if he's found not guilty.

If any of this money is going through a bail bondsman, that's a considerable amount down the sinkhole trying to help a guy who keeps breaking his bail conditions and who is likely to be found guilty. Even if they get some of it back from the bondsman, they're taking a loss.

All of that bail money is just wasted if he's found guilty. Regardless of who is paying via what means, it's likely that $1 million is just gone, wasted on misguided belief in this guy.

  2. Most bail bondsmen work on a 7 to 10% fee that is nonrefundable. The people paying the bail bondsmen put up collateral , such as their house or retirement funds. They only need to cover the bail bondsman share, and he in effect is lending the rest. So in this case, perhaps only $150k was necessary to put up to cover the 1.5 Million. Should the suspect flee or "skip bail" then the bail bondsman is out of the money they put up for the bail, and thus you have "bounty hunters".

I have an old friend from way back, who became a bail bondsman. His company is called "Deep Water Bail Bonds" and his name is Moses Kardashian. He has on his car door, "Deep Water Bail Bonds" and then his company slogan..."When You Are In Deep Water... CALL MOSES" LOL!

  4. Who can blame him? The typical "woman" these days is a transgender liberal feminist man-eating psychopath. This is what you get when you allow women to vote.

No, it never was. But there's always going to be a certain cross-section of society in a church.

What I would say is that Armstrongite churches have always been damned expensive however. Far more expensive than any mainstream christian denomination, that's for sure. What ordinary person can afford it? Attending will make you poorer, and not just in spirit.

As evidenced by the previous post about Scott and Cassie Flory, you don't have to be wealthy to risk losing a lot.

    You are a vile person.
    Bible says satan hates women.

And I will put enmity between thee and the woman and between thy seed and her seed. He shall bruise thy head and thou shall bruise His heel.

    Daniel 11:37

Neither shall he [the antichrist or the antichrist spirit] regard the God of his fathers nor the desire of women.

  8. I was not going to post that idiotic comment, but then did because it shows just how little some in the church regard women. I saw that in the way administrators treated female students at AC Pasadena and how some ministers treated women. One wife of an ordained person always walked behind her husband and never stood by his side. She always had to stand to his left. He was a tyrant over her. Even HWA did not respect his own wife when you consider the things he wrote about her to the church. GTA had no respect for his wife as he fornicated with scores of women, including wives of evangelists.

  10. Maybe if he breaks out of jail, and a UCG Cowboy Dude employs him on his ranch, things may get exciting!

  11. My question is, will he do a copy cat run for your life out the court room door like Kevin Owen Dean did? As I understand it, he is still on the run.

  13. So what Anon 3:45 is actually saying is an overly stuffy version of the classic "Bitchez ain't shit but hoez and tricks". Well, I guess even the COGs attempts to create a sheltered enclave aren't 100%.
