"48 Hours" Expose on United Church of God Elder Stephen Allwine

"Never in my journalistic career have I ever been involved in a murder investigation
that led us to prevent other future potential killings," says correspondent Peter Van Sant

"48 Hours" explores the alarming world of murder-for-hire on the mysterious dark web and exposes an international criminal organization in a hunt for a self-described murder mastermind who uses the  name Yura.
A six-month investigation spans the globe and leads "48 Hours" to information in the U.S. and beyond, about murder plots bought and paid for -- but not yet carried out.

  1. In spite of all the police evidence, court hearings and investigations, many in United Church of God still support this piece of shit. They deny he is a killer.

    1. No, you are a liar and have no idea what your talking about. No one has denied anything. Amy was one of my best friends and everyone loved her very much. Not one single person in United has denied that Steve did this horrific thing to his wife. So, please shut your mouth unless you plan on speaking the truth.

My experience in the WWCG was that the ministers regularly protected the difficult members. They are being consistent in denying that Stephen is a killer.

  3. On Discovery ID they have a programme called "Deadly Devotion", they should do one about the Armstrong cults and this piece of shit.

  4. UCG elder Stephen Allwine setting an example and being a light to the world as a cold calculated killer!

Perhaps wife Amy did not die in vain if she was able to bring to law enforcement's attention the murder for hire dark web. However, it sounds from the "48 Hour" story posted that this Yura is a fraud.

Like others, what I found odd was the initial reaction of Stephen Allwine on the phone with 911 and his chuckle when his son asked him in the background if he was going to re-marry. Ironically, I recall reading of a similar question or statement made at an inappropriate time either by or to HWA moments after wife Loma passing away. Does anyone else remember such an inappropriate statement made at Loma's passing?

  5. Everything Herbert said was inappropriate so I can guarantee he said something stupid when his wife died.

  6. ...something stupid when his wife died

According to GTA, he said something like, "...it's too early for me to think about remarrying..."

  7. How did this man become an elder in the UCG? It shows poor judgement by the leaders that ordained him. Maybe it is just hard to see what is lurking in the minds of those that you think you know and trust.

  8. Would UCG support such a person if he happened to be of the "non-Israelite" persuasion? I seriously doubt it! They'd probably say that he succumbed to his Gentile nature.

  9. Like Hoss said it was GTA who alleged his father HWA made selfish and insensitive remarks at his wife, Loma's death. A couple of sources I found online include:

    1) https://hwarmstrong.com/garner-ted-armstrong.htm

Some revealing quotations from Garner Ted Armstrong's book: "The Origin and History of the Church of God International": "PAGE 39 In less than an hour after my mother's death, my father was talking to about six or eight of us in his family room. He began saying, 'I don't suppose I should think about marrying again right away...' I felt a feeling of disgust grow to outrage, and boil up inside of me into a white hot anger at his words. for him to sit there, discussing marrying again even before my mother's body had been removed from that upstairs bedroom was a shattering blow to the pedestal I had placed him on in my mind."

    2) http://www.giveshare.org/BibleStudy/144.comingclean.html

Coming Clean: "(4) Herbert Armstrong's actions at the death of Loma Armstrong, Garner Ted's mother, made GTA lose respect for his father and led to their eventual final estrangement. She died with GTA holding her hand, while Herbert acted cold, and less than an hour after her death, Herbert said, 'I don't suppose I should think about marrying again right away.' Once the moderating influence of Loma was gone, Herbert Armstrong immediately launched into excessively lavish living, worldwide traveling, and (according to some evangelists) more blatant sexual aberrations. GTA objected to this lavish spending, and contradicted his father's statements that HWA was 'preaching the gospel,' when HWA hardly ever mentioned Jesus Christ before world leaders. GTA did not want his father to 'marry' divorcee Ramona Martin, who was 46 years younger than HWA. Even though GTA grudgingly agreed to perform the 'wedding' ceremony in 1977, he became increasingly estranged from his father. The elder Armstrong, in fact, claimed that God had 'allowed' Loma to die because she could not have undergone the 'grueling pace' of his worldwide travels. This infuriated Garner Ted."

  10. A few anagrams from Stephen Allwine’s alleged dark web pseudonym “dogdaygod”:

    dodgy goad
    a dodgy dog
    a dodgy god
    daddy go go

Perhaps subsconciously summoning his suspect belief system and extra-marital affairs

  11. “dogdaygod” might be a reference to Sirius, which coincidentally was “connected with...mad dogs, and bad luck.” I guess the allusion is apt what with the madness and the ill fortune related to the Allwine case.

Who are you responding to? This doesn't make any sense. Everyone knows Steve did it.
