Fake COG Prophet Reposts His Prophecies For 2018

The Church of God's ONLY true prophet who was doubly blessed by his god so set himself up as a new splinter group is back again touting his prophecies for 2018.  He felt the need to repost his list after COGWA published a list of 2 prophet trends to watch out for:

Eric Jones, of COGWA, named these two trends:

Two important prophetic trends to watch

1. An increase in global conflicts and authoritarianism.
One of the primary themes of end-time Bible prophecies is global violence and instability. In the Olivet Prophecy, Jesus spoke these words about the time preceding the Great Tribulation and His return: “And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom” (Matthew 24:6-7). …
2. Germany’s increasing global role.
The current edition of Foreign Affairs also features a very interesting article titled “Germany’s New Global Role” by German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier. The article describes how Germany has emerged as the most stable and powerful nation in Europe. Germany is not just the undisputed economic leader of Europe, but it is also becoming a bigger diplomatic player in global affairs, “contributing diplomatically to the peaceful resolution of multiple conflicts around the globe” (p. 106).
Then, almost arrested but not arrested, doubly blessed and eternally bitter Bob Thiel then felt he needed to supersede COGWA in order to get the last word in. The bitter prophet then republishes his 18 things to watch for in 2018.

As usual, it is like a broke record eternally skipping on a COG record player.  It is the same generalized junk that has been spouted for 80 some years.  Generalizations, never any specifics like what the Prophets of old said.
18 items to prophetically watch in 2018Can you rely on Bible prophecy? Should Christians pay attention it to? Did Jesus say to watch? Are world events aligning with properly understood biblical prophecies? Dr. Thiel goes over 18 items, including:
1. Scoffers and the Modern Media;
2. Morality Prophecies Being Fulfilled Daily;
3. Weather Sorrows and Troubles;
4. Earthquakes;
5. The White Horse of the Apocalypse;
6. Strife and the Red Horse of War; 7. Trade;
8. The Deal of Daniel 9:27;
9. Knowledge Increasing;
10. Debt;
11. US Dollar Dominance will Decrease;
12. Cash and 666;
13. Gold;
14. Europe Will Work to Reorganize and Have a Great Army;
15. Steps Towards the Formation of the King of the South Will Occur;
16. The Time of the Gentiles will Lead to Armageddon;
17. Jews Ready to Sacrifice;
18. The Fulfillment of Matthew 28:19-20 and Matthew 24:14.

  1. "Generalizations" is exactly right. Not a single COG minister, prophet, evangelist, or church leader has ever made a sure worded prophecy. They cannot. It is an impossibility.

  2. Some of the general speculations listed are the same as those RCM gave in 2001 as things to watch out for in the next 12 months.
    Ironically, he said them a few weeks before 9/11. Not to diminish the tragedy of that event, unfortunately for RCM, the hijackers weren't Germans...

  3. In the next 3 months... It is CERTAIN.....

    1. That the Sun will stop its southerly course and just about begin to start trekking north again beginning another cycle to Spring.
    2. That the leaves will begin falling off of the trees until they are bare.
    3. That snowflakes will fall on some part of the Continental United States.

    These are certainties. In the next three months...It is LIKELY...

    1. That a large winter storm will drop a swath of snow over the Plains and Upper Great Lakes.
    2. That the Green Bay Packers will win at least five games.
    3. That there will be an earthquake of 4.0 or greater somewhere in the United States.

    These are likelihoods. In the next three months...There's a CHANCE...

    1. That there will be a blizzard somewhere in the country.
    2. That Drew Carey will need to dye his hair.
    3. That a major scientific discovery might happen.

    And in the next three months, it is UNLIKELY...

    1. That a major disease will be completely cured.
    2. That a huge international conflict will suddenly erupt (knock on wood!!!!!)
    3. That Craig Ferguson will return to late night television.

    AND in the next three months, it is NEXT TO IMPOSSIBLE...

    1. That Bob Theil will realize the futility of his "ministry", the illegitimacy of his "ordination", or the non-evidence of his "prophethood", that his bookcase will ever be straightened, or his curtains will be finally replaced.

    Does this make me a prophet? No. It's just a level of awareness of the reality around me. The difference is - i'm not USING those facts to try to validate something about ME that I am absolutely not.

  4. Fake prophets and fake Christians are not much different. Those who keep posing those over-the-top cartoons from the naked pastor can hardly be considered Christians of any kind.

  5. bob theil the prophet or the schmuckenstein?

    When it comes to bob, I incline towards the latter.

  6. One thing you've got to love about Dr. Bob. His constituency informs his social conscience. Because of the great work he aspires to do in Africa, at least he doesn't repeat the stupid 1950s era WCG prophecy that the Negroes are going to be running around starting all manner of race riots, making Whitey's life perilous and miserable.

    When it comes to bob, I believe him to be the latter.

  8. Maybe we have all the prophecies we need in the Bible. Instead of trying to invent enemies, try and love one another like the Bible says.

    I realize they are embarrassing to many in the COG who practice deceit and live conceited manipulative lives based upon the worship of the law over grace, mercy and justice.

  10. Why is Bob and other ministers from HWA’s organization or its splinters referred to as “Dr”? Like “Father” or “Mister” or other religious titles disapproved of in the NT Church of God? Our only spiritual or religious Father is God. And our only spiritual or religious Master or Teacher is Christ. So why do these men feel the need to be referred to by titles? Aren’t we all brothers and sisters in Christ?! Do siblings refer to one another by lofty titles or by their given names?! Did the apostles of Christ sign their epistles “St” Paul or “Dr” Peter or “Rabbi” James or “Father” John?! No! So why continue this tradition that surely originates outside of the Christian Bible and is therefore disrespectful to Christ’s own teachings?!

    1. 8:08, this is stuff we do today as part of civilized society. Obviously, it’s misplaced in Armstrongism, since AC degrees were all bogus, and the ministers were not worthy of our respect. But, if someone is going to cap my bad teeth, or administer knee surgery, I’m going to respect their education by calling them Dr. Now, if Bruce Springsteen receives an honorary doctorate from Princeton, I’m still going to call him Bruce. Further, anyone who would pretend to have authority or credentials based in Armstrongism should simply be known as “Shit”. And they should be comfortable with that appelation, because they have freely chosen to embrace it, and to put on airs based upon it.

  11. Perhaps as a rebuttal to Banned, Bob has again posted an article attempting to prove he is a prophet.

  12. I think this title stuff started when HWA started sending 22 year olds into the field because he did not have anyone else. The problem was the older members did not like these young men telling them what to do.

    This violates Paul's instructions on qualifications for the ministry.

    The titles were to solve the respect problem.

    In all companies I have worked for, everyone is on a first name basis from the CEO down. And we still have respect for our managers!

    We used to promote that that the Philadelphian church was the church of brotherly love.
    Jesus command is we are to love one another like He loved us when He was on Earth.
