You Don't Have To Wait For The Millennium For This! D'Oh!

Ambassador College Correspondence Course Lesson 6, 1955

And I guess the Fruits of The Spirit could never happen until the Millennium, right........

I've seen more people like this in "the world" than I EVER saw in WCG.

  1. I'm an ex-member and I say there were a LOT more good people in the WCG than outside it. I guess some ex-members are willfully blind to that because they are pissed at the ministry.

    2. There were indeed sincere people in the Cogs I was one myself, the problem comes from the top, I saw some of the same good people blindly turn their backs on fellow members just because they were told to do so by the ministry. In some cases the members didn't even know why they couldn't contact the person, yet they believed that obeying the ministry was the same as obeying God. To think these are people that think they will judge angels and can't even judge justly now in this world. Not even the law courts of the world has such a low standard, at least you get your day in court, get a lawyer to represent you, the jury gets to hear your defence and your side of the story.

  2. What they say about God changing peoples attitude in the kingdom is nonsense. According to the bible, this should have been the case within the church, due to its members receiving the holy spirit. But experience shows that it wasn't and isn't the case. Especially with the ministry. Plus try reconciling this with the fragmenting of the church after HWAs death. Again personal responsibilities are stolen by, or handed over to the ministers or to God Himself (which He will not touch).
Being made in God image means self responsibility, something a power hungry ministry rejects.

  5. Some people seem to forget that there will be no Satan in the millennium and that in the kingdom we will be far more powerful than now. Did they even pay attention to any sermons?

  6. True...there were sincere people in the old WCG but there were the the backbiters, gossips, etc, also. I know, having been a victim myself. been judged by those whom had NO clue at all
as to what my circumstances were.
