We have seen Elijahs come and go in Armstrongism, with several small sad little men in the Church of God who proclaim they are such a person to this very day. But there is one Elijah who stands above the rest. One man whom God has chosen to be the final witness to the world. Lest you think I am talking about the three latest self-appointed upstarts, Bob Thiel, James Malm, and Ron Weinland, you are sadly mistaken. There is a greater man than all of these combined!
Behold the TRUE Elijah!
Michael Noordhoek, aka. Zerubbabel
Get on your knees and beg him forgiveness for not believing in him!
REALITY;
REALITY is our Maker has continued to shorten the days of Him pouring out His hot indignation upon the scattered descendants of Israel by afflicting His 2nd Son of His Holy Anointing Oil in your stead.
REALITY is the Elohiym of Abraham, Isaac and Israel has sent His end time Elijah to you in a manner that it is IMPOSSIBLE to NOT BELIEVE that He has sent me UNLESS; 1) You do not really “BELIEVE” His word and/or 2) you have failed to fear Him enough to look at all of the evidence that He has given to us in the testimony of His word in order to testify to “THE REALITY” that He has sent me to set you free from the captivity of mystery babylon.
REALITY is that which you have deemed to be failed prophecy has merely been YEHWEH my Elohiym “SHORTENING THE DAYS.”
REALITY is the Almighty, the Self-Existing ONE that inhabits eternity is NOT going to “SHORTEN THE DAYS” forever.
REALITY is “ONE THAT BELIEVES” His word “BELIEVES” that 3 ½ days from tonight (6/26) at 7:34 p.m. (Arizona time) will bring forth “THE END OF THE MOST HIGH SHORTENING THE DAYS.”
3 ½ days from tonight at 7:34 p.m. will be 7:34 a.m. on 6/30 on His servant satan’s calendar.
REALITY is this warning is YET AGAIN fall upon “UTTERLY DEAF” ears.
You are SOON going to “WAKE UP TO REALITY!!!”
YOUR PARTY IS OVER!!!
SOBER UP or else die in your bitterly obstinate drunken stupor!!!
You have rejected our Maker’s warnings and we have now come to the time that He is going to cease from shortening the days.
You have two choices that you can choose from when He causes you to drink from this cup that you have brought upon yourselves;
1) You can be humble before His faces and acknowledge your rebellion to Him and turn back to Him through that which He has restored and come and drink of His living waters.
2) You can choose to die in your rebellion to Him.
The choice is yours to make, CHOOSE LIFE so that you and your seed can live unto eternity!!!
Or else drink up and die in your bitterly obstinate drunken stupor!!!
This disgusting piece of human garbage is Michael Noordhoek, aka. Zerubbabel. A former Church of God member who has degenerated into a worthless mess of lies and deception just like Bob Thiel and James Malm are currently sinking into.
A self-serving man who stopped working and expects his few followers to fund him. His wife and daughter live in an abject state of poverty in a one-room shack. He also claimed he was going to father a holy child with his daughter.
Just more proof on what Armstrongims does to the mind of so many its followers.
Reality is this, reality is that, etc, etc. He learnt this word association ploy from master marketer and deceiver, HWA. Every idea he didn't approve of, he associated with greed, selfishness, lust, vanity etc, and every dubious concept he associated with love, goodness and Godliness. This way he subverted his members ability to impartially evaluate doctrine.
ReplyDeleteSo much for "prove all things." This squares with accusations that he bragged of being able to get his members to believe anything he wanted.
Everyone wants to be the “Elvis” of Armstrongism.
ReplyDeleteReality is that this guy is guano crazy, and all of his prophetic interpretations will fail.
ReplyDeleteMan, I resided among the "millenials", ushering in "the world tomorrow" (litteral name and theme of many of the tech conferences today on the solutions facing mankinds problems), through the 4th industrial revolution and marketing.
ReplyDeleteDuring a quick break visit to this blog I get "zerubbabbel" from the "ministry of funny hats".
The madness.
I recall Gary mentioning that this zerobabbel person even garnered 349 dollars for his cause on a crowd funding platform. Well, I'll give him that, he is up to date with technology, and investors have invested in crazier start ups. Let's just hope he will not scale.

In the post it reads..."He also claimed he was going to father a holy child with his daughter."
ReplyDeleteMaybe that is what Herb was unfortunately trying to do too?
LOL, Tonto! The only pretender to the throne who would dare imitate that aspect of HWA’s pathology!
DeleteBB
I blame the OT for this.
ReplyDeleteI am a little bit confused here. The context is failed prophecy and little did I know that the Most High "shortened the days" which is why the failed prophecy did not come to pass. Now come June 30th will be the end of the "shortened days". Does that mean we are now entering the "lengthening of days"?
ReplyDeleteLooks like another one to add to the lineup of false COG prophesiers in 2019. Hopefully 2020 hurries up and comes in an "acceleration of days" fashion.
I heard Z traveled to Israel and couldn't even get out of the airport before they sent him back.
ReplyDeleteThe fruits of Armstrongism...

ReplyDeleteThis is nothing but another example of the "Wanna-Be's" of Armstrongism forcing themselves to the front on fantastical delusions of grandeur. Every time one of these people come out, the pattern is the same: Threaten something grandiose, wait for it to happen, nothing happens, then say God delayed, changed his mind, or some new revelation was added to the previous incomplete revelation. Rinse, repeat.
ReplyDeleteI'm really not sure how many examples of such lying tongues need to come out before people will wise up and wake up that Armstrongism, like a failed chemistry experiment, was a dissapointing, man made "dud", the Scheme of the Ages.
I will give this man props for cosplay, if he showed up at Comic-Con, they might mistake him for some gaming dude on X-Box or something. I'd almost see him walking out of "The Ten Commandments" as Charlton Heston.
A couple of clarifications. The daughter is actually his step-daughter who is now over the age of consent. Creepy yes, but not illegal.
ReplyDeleteAlso, it has been a couple of months since his last video was posted to YouTube. Normally he posted every few days. One of his last videos talked about him being served eviction papers.
Anon 12:09 said... “This squares with accusations that [HWA] bragged of being able to get his members to believe anything he wanted.”
ReplyDeleteWell he wasn’t wrong considering he taught doctrines that he then later changed (e.g. Monday Pentecost, D&R, etc.) and his followers believed whatever he said rather than actually evaluate whether it was truth or not.
Michael Noordhoek's claims provide the basis for a little thought experiment.
ReplyDeleteLet's use our imaginations and go back about 2,000 years to ancient Judea. An itinerent rabbi comes along making some rather radical claims similar in tone if perhaps not exactly in content to what Michael Noordhoek says: I am the Messiah. I am the son of God, born miraculously of a virgin. I have never and will never sin. My death and subsequent resurrection will provide forgiveness and eternal life for all humans tainted with evil after two people in a garden ate some fruit which they were not supposed to touch.
Would we consider this itinerant rabbi named Yeshua to be just as crazy as Michael Noordhoek? Remember, we refer to his time and place as ancient Judea, which for us tends to put some sort of holy glow on the time and the place. But it was not ancient to the people who lived then. For them it was very contemporary and very real, just as our present is real to us. And the holy land didn't always feel very holy; on the contrary, it could be quite a brutal place.
I'm not saying that Noordhoek's claims are valid. I think he's a nut. Nor am I saying that the claims of Jesus are necessarily invalid. But the point is that if you are going to accept Jesus as your savior then base your faith on something more than his time and place in history and his claims.
Obviously delusional, but influenced
ReplyDeleteFor some, looking back on WCG and now its splinters, invites a sardonic view of the delusional, the personality disordered, the predatory.
What's the big picture, now that this disordered/delusional person is evicted... and homeless?
What's the end story for his step-daughter?
'Over the age of consent and not illegal,' so that's all fine, really???
Am starting to understand better the extent of such in the history, and the splinters of this group.
9:14 from some other thread
aka LMW
This will be Bob Thiel and James Malm in 5 years.
ReplyDeleteI have to laugh when I consider the fact that folks like Dr. Bob (even without the beard and blue tasseled bath towels) are EVERY BIT as delusional as this guy- they just don't realize it.
ReplyDeleteI find it very disturbing and embarrassing that these delusional prophets are all white guys. I mean, what does that say about us?

Um according to my reading of Bible law (eg Lev 18:17) this type of incestuous relationship is not only creepy, but also immoral AND illegal. So for a man who professes to be a Christian to make such a claim without thinking anything biblically wrong about it has got to be seriously warped. Yuk... just yuk!🤦♂️

ReplyDeleteWhat does that say about us?
That depends, you didn't state if you yourself are a black guy. Unless the letter font is an indication.
I guess momma won't have it and hit you with the frying pan!
Now in reality we had an SEP scare once for a defected high profile minister of color who thought himself a prophet during the Tkach changes. I distinctly remember a kind of "friday the 13th" eerie feeling/rumor amongst the campers that "he might show up." Ministers were quite benign in their assessment on the man who clearly had gone mad since I believe the early stage changes were to much for him to bear.

8:13pm: You forget, if the bible is true, there were great miracles involved 2,000 years ago.
ReplyDelete7:42pm
ReplyDeleteNot to mention the fact that all of HWA's, first generation, followers started out believing the bible. At first he was nothing to them, yet over time, because of their past "faith" in him and what he built, they either completely lost faith in the bible, God and Jesus, or dug their faith in Armstrong (not God, yet they can't see that) in even deeper, or threw out all of what HWA taught and went "mainstream/orthodox", or threw Armstrong out but kept some of what they considered biblical truth with or without Armstrong.
There are probably even more distinctives than the four I mention above, if so which one do you, the reader, fit in?
SHT, Armstrongism set out to do exactly what Herb hoped, fame and fortune for himself. It wasn't a failure in that sense.
ReplyDeleteAs far as the loonies, are they really loonies or are they truly following their mentor? If they have a group of followers willing to support them financially, who's really the loony?
Lev 18:17
ReplyDeleteNOTHING in Lev 18:17 indicates that said relationship is unlawful.
How stupid can you be in interpreting. Next thing you are going to say is that Woody Allen is creepy based on faulty reading of your bible.

Who anywhere in this thread said that it is all fine? Creepy is certainly not fine.
"Um according to my reading of Bible law (eg Lev 18:17) this type of incestuous relationship is not only creepy, but also immoral AND illegal."
The Bible is not the law of the land. So whether or not this verse applies, it doesn't define illegal here in the US even if lots of people think it does or would like it to do so.
"Next thing you are going to say is that Woody Allen is creepy based on faulty reading of your bible."
Whether or not Woody Allen is creepy is not determined by what the Bible says.
"I find it very disturbing and embarrassing that these delusional prophets are all white guys. I mean, what does that say about us?"
ReplyDeleteI find it disturbing and embarrassing that some white people pretend to think, or are stupid enough to actually think, that most of the evil in the world is due to white people. They seem to be unaware of the mass killers, slave traders, and religious wackos in the rest of the world. The insular attitude is beyond the pale and a mark of acute ignorance. These people must live in majority white countries and have their eyes firmly slammed shut to history and everything beyond their borders.
As usual we have another self righteous fool complaining that these things go on in the world. We know that dimwit! But this blog is about the liars and frauds in the Church of God. If you want to complain about the liars in the rest of the world then go to a blog elsewhere and discusses it. Whine whine whine

ReplyDeleteYou missed the entire point. Presumably, on purpose.
"... if the bible is true, there were great miracles ..."
ReplyDeleteIf Buddhism is true, there were great miracles.

ReplyDeleteTrue, however I know of no Buddhists on this site.
So..... What is your point?

On the contrary nck Lev 18:17 states: "Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of a woman and her daughter, neither shalt thou take her son's daughter, or her daughter's daughter, to uncover her nakedness; for they are her near kinswomen: it is wickedness."
A cross reference is Lev 20:14 : “And if a man take a wife and her mother, it is wickedness: they shall be burnt with fire, both he and they; that there be no wickedness among you.”
RJ Rushdoony summarizes the laws on incest briefly in his “Institutes of Biblical Law” thus: “Sexual relations and/or marriage is forbidden with a mother, father, step-mother, sister or brother, half-sister or half-brother, a grand-daughter, with a daughter-in-law (or son-in-law), with an aunt (or uncle), with a brother’s wife, or with both mother and daughter. The punishment is death except for marriage with the wife of an uncle, with a blood aunt, or with a brother’s wife, where the punishment was to bear their iniquity and die childless (Lev. 20:19-21)” (p. 368).
Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leviticus_18#Incest) states: “One feature of all the lists is that sexual activity between a man and his own daughter is not explicitly forbidden. The Talmud argues that this is because the prohibition was obvious, especially given the proscription against a relationship with a granddaughter. The shortness of the list in Leviticus 20, and especially of that in Deuteronomy, are explained by classical Jewish scholarship as being due to the obviousness of the missing prohibitions. Note also that the explicit prohibition against engaging in sexual activity with ‘both a woman and her daughter’, implicitly forbids sexual activity between a man and his daughter.”
So, my point remains, if he chooses to have a sexual relationship with his wife’s daughter it is both immoral and unlawful according to the divine law, the violation of which, according to said legal system, merits the death penalty. If he professes to be a Christian and yet goes ahead and commits this sinful act he is in serious error and in dire need of repentance.

I didn’t say it was immoral or illegal according to American law. I was, and am, however, stating clearly his intentions to commit an incestuous act with his wife’s daughter is both immoral and unlawful according to Biblical Law.

ReplyDeleteThe bible describes Gods creation, including human normalcy, so so creepiness is somewhere in there. David feigning madness to protect his life is one example that comes to mind. I will have to ponder for other examples.

A reminder that some readers still believe in God and the bible, and strive to follow Christ rather than some man or organisation.
