Exposing the underbelly of Armstrongism in all of its wacky glory! Nothing you read here is made up. What you read here is the up to date face of Herbert W Armstrong's legacy. It's the gritty and dirty behind the scenes look at Armstrongism as you have never seen it before!
With all the new crazy self-appointed Chief Overseers, Apostles, Prophets, Pharisees, legalists, and outright liars leading various Churches of God today, it is important to hold these agents of deception accountable.
Herbert Armstrong's Tangled Web of Corrupt Leaders
When David Clown Pack's prophecies fail, the man who uttered these predictions will have only two options: admit he is a false prophet— highly unlikely—or spin events by claiming his prophecy was fulfilled in some mysterious fashion… Prepare now for the spin!”
How to Know a False Prophet
The apostle Peter wrote, “We have also a more sure word of prophecy...” (II Pet. 1:19). God’s prophecies are certain. They never miss. Not one!
David Clown Pack will not admit his prophecy failed—but no false prophet would, or the game ends. God’s instruction regarding prophets is “If you [ask] in your heart, How shall we know the word which the Lord has not spoken?” (Deut. 18:21). God’s answer? “When a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the Lord has not spoken, but the prophet has spoken it presumptuously: you shall not be afraid of him” (vs. 22). Men can presume to speak for God. It happens every day. Therefore, you must know if God sent a man—or if the man sent himself. The true prophet Ezekiel recorded, “Son of man [Ezekiel], prophesy against the prophets of Israel...and say you unto them that prophesy out of their own hearts, Hear you the word of the Lord; thus says the Lord God; woe unto the foolish prophets, that follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing” (13:2-3). This is a serious matter to God— and it should be to you! Mr. David Clown Pack cannot be a servant of God. God tells you, “You shall not be afraid of him.” Do you—will you—believe God?
Ludicrous Teachings
When specific time periods in the Bible do not fit David Clown Pack's chronology, he calls them “spiritual” and “symbolic.”
David Clown Pack and many other false teachers will use this [World Events] as an opportunity to perpetuate a cycle of fear, holding sway over their adherents. And when their prophecies fail, a worse condition arises. Followers blow off the truth of prophecy!
You Can Know (Except in RCG)
In his book The Bible’s Greatest Prophecies Unlocked! (now completely wiped from the website and all book stores), David Clown Pack, the world’s foremost authority on Gobbly Gook, writes: “God’s servants understand the basic framework of His overall prophetic timetable and plan. They are not confused about ‘what happens next’ as certain end-time prophecies intensify, and others take place. Many prophecies involve a tremendous amount of understanding that God makes available, and with all necessary details. They understand exactly what lies ahead for all mankind, and for themselves—if they are faithful.”

If the dynamic of 2 Pet 2:22 is considered, has any member of the RCG contemplated the true meaning of what Peter was inferring? Dave Pack built the RCG on the premise that if anyone bent on even one small point of doctrine established by Herbert W. Armstrong, they were entertaining heresy and on the road to the wallow.
Some two and a half years ago, Dave Pack in another grand revelation event concerning the return of Jesus Christ and ALL the events surrounding it declared: "do you think God would let me get this wrong, do you not think that if I got this wrong that I know everyone would run out of here like rabbits in a thunderstorm!
Obedience to Dave Pack in his own words - the very simple out that everyone should see is quite plainly; run like a rabbit in a thunderstorm when Mr. Pack and his god get anything wrong.
Unfortunately, there are far too many members who have forgotten that they have been cleansed and cleansed from what, and they find it entertaining to wallow in the mire with Mr. Pack
It's pretty quiet here in Northern Ohio tonight. Very cold, but everyone is staying warm and cozy. Something was supposed to happen over in Wadsworth, next to the Giant Eagle store. Haven't heard a thing. I'll watch the evening news (then, will sleep well tonight).
I remember, something, too, was supposed to happen in 1972 or 73. I slept through all of that, too. Finally, 1975 came and went. I keep looking for validation of the Armstrong "Churches of God." So far, after several decades, only repeated prophetic failures. There's an applicable scripture in Deuteronomy 18:22:
"When a prophet speaks in the name of the LORD and the message does not come to pass or come true, that is a message the LORD has not spoken. The prophet has spoken presumptuously."
That applied in 1975, and now in 2021. The Armstrong doctrines and teachings (and those who present them, by this scriptural definition) are, at the least, presumptuous.
Everything Herbert Armstrong predicted is coming to pass..............if you leave the bible and god out of it.
It started with the 1934 prediction of japanese attack on us soil, 1940 prediction of operation barbarossa, much more and will end with "we will build back better" rod of iron enforced techno agricultural utopia with command capitalism with a "small elite" leading the masses in the pax davos era with "eternal peace."
Nck Since HWA made over a 100 false predictors, including Hitler being the last beast leader, ending with the second coming, some of them will prove true. Especially if one reads newspaper articles warning of an Japanese attack on American soil.
So you don't believe "we will build back better" exactly resembles "the wonderfull world tomorrow brought about with a rod of iron to the masses".
Both WWI and II resemble what HWA predicted "would come and precede wtm", but it seems there was just a 75 year time lapse for the secular Messiah's to implement rule by decree.

To Dave, borrowing from Bill Murray (Ghostbusters II) "For you're sake, I hope you're right!" That would sure put Dr Bob in his place.
ReplyDeleteso he should have no membership tomorrow? surely they will all leave after this....
