LCG's Mind Boogling Number Of New Guests In Atlanta! Woo Hoo! Impressive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Living Church of God has published a few numbers about the mind-boggling number of subscribers they have attending their online Bible studies.

Before you look at the numbers below, remember that Atlanta is the 37th most populous city in the United States. The city serves as the cultural and economic center of the Atlanta metropolitan area, home to more than 6 million people and the ninth-largest metropolitan area in the nation.

6 million people are in the Atlanta metropolitan area. 6 million!

Now, look at the mind-boggling number of people checking out the most amazing ministry on the face of the earth today, after Bob Thiel, of course.

Also, note that LCG does not tell you how many of those "guests" were actually LCG members.

Atlanta, Georgia: Over the last couple of months, Mr. Dan Hall has conducted multiple online follow-up Bible studies after the original online TWP conducted for subscribers in the Atlanta area. Here are the encouraging numbers:
  • March 5: “The Signs of Christ’s Return” (Mr. J. McNair): 31 guests
  • March 6: “Where Is the Church Christ Built?” (Mr. D. Hall): 22 guests (15 new, 7 repeat)
  • March 12: “God’s Purpose for Mankind” (Mr. D. Hall): 13 guests (7 new, 6 repeat)
  • March 19: “Are the Ten Commandments Done Away?” (Mr. D. Hall): 16 guests (7 new, 9 repeat)
  • April 9: “Sabbath or Sunday: Which Is the Lord’s Day?” (Mr. D. Hall): 9 guests (all repeat)
  • April 16: “The Pathway to Hope: God’s Holy Days” (Mr. D. Hall): 14 guests (5 new, 9 repeat)

  1. In a metro area of six million people, a sizeable crowd could be gathered to turn out for any weird presentation - except for GOGapalooza!

Hallelujah; perhaps God is protecting the people of Atlanta from the dangerous LCG cult.

  2. So in the five subsequent weeks from the initial study, they gained a total of 34 new participants - not quite 7 per week. On the opposite side, they had 51 non returning participants during that time frame which would equal a little more than 10 per week seeing and not believing or having something better to do.

In a war scenario, if your weekly casualties outnumber your new recruits, what is the prospect for winning that war?

  3. The Ten Commandments, the Sabbath and Holy Days. What a sales pitch. Why not bring up God's Government, Three Tithes, show them pictures of your lovely meeting place (Masonic lodges, school cafeterias, Fraternal Order of Police and Union Halls)? And let's not forget the metal folding chairs, two hour services, and not just a sermonette, but a real, full length sermon. Nothing like putting their best foot forward. How many who express any interest ever come back for a second? "Come, taste, and see that the Lord is good." "YUK, that tasted like crap! Let's go visit the Methodists next week." Will this be as successful as UCG puppet or GTA's WAKE UP AMERICA? Do you remember that? Most attendees, I think, were church members. Or, how about HWA lecture in the Philippines where people were brought in off the street to fill up the seats. Could you imagine HWA going to a city with a large homeless population and they were herded in to fill the seats. I'd love to see the pictures of that audience in the next PT.

  5. Don't forget apostate Bob Thiel, who is a splinter cult of the LCG. He only has been able to gather around 300 white people from the entire English-speaking world - U.S., Canada, Europe, Australia, and a few other isolated places. 300 whites. Super pathetic!

  7. God is a God of opportunity. Public bible studies, lectures etc, is an opportunity for people in that city to hear the truth. That city will not be able to claim in the tribulation that there was no warning.
Warnings by prophets in the OT typically went unheeded, but it doesn't mean that the prophets efforts were in vain.

  8. Hey Anonymous of April 25, 2021 at 12:56 AM: this warning message you keep harping about is not the Gospel preached by the original Christians in the New Testament - so how can LCG claim to be original Christianity.

The COGs are the foolish virgins with their eyes on warnings, signs, Germans, and covenants with nations - they don't have their eyes on Jesus.

Christians were commissioned to preach about Jesus and his work of salvation.

Your warnings from Jeremiah or Ezekiel do not offer salvation.

The entire body of LCG's warnings, writings, and preachings does not have Jesus - or the work of Jesus as the focal point. Therefore, LCG is a cult that preaches a fake gospel.

    Hebrews 12:2
Fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God

  9. Maybe they should offer a free can of PBR to boost numbers. Or to honor Herbert, a free bottle of HARVEY'S BRISTOL CREME!!!

While it's true that warnings from Jeremiah to Ezekiel did not offer salvation, they are related to salvation. There more evil people become, the more difficult it will be for them to repent when the opportunity is presented. Personal experience with church members and ministers shows this. Which is why God dealt very forcefully with Israel and surrounding nations when they morally slid into the gutter. God punished these nations with war famine and pestilence for a good reason.

  10. I noticed this popular presentation titled in the form of a question:
April 9: “Sabbath or Sunday: Which Is the Lord’s Day?” (Mr. D. Hall): 9 guests (all repeat)

    Answer: Yes

Hebrews 4:7 God again set a certain day, calling it “Today.”

  12. I wish we could know the number of these guests who, after the end of the LCG presentation, googled information about the LCG, and found this blog or other sources that portray the plain truth about the dangers of the LCG cult.

  13. Proof of the folly of the LCG can be seen in their zeal for warnings from Ezekiel and Jeremiah but little interest in grace or justification.

Below is the message of grace that the world needs to hear - but the COGs never have and never will preach:

    Titus 2:11
For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people.

    Acts 15:10-12
Now then, why do you try to test God by putting on the necks of Gentiles a yoke that neither we nor our ancestors have been able to bear? No! We believe it is through the grace of our Lord Jesus that we are saved, just as they are.”

    Ephesians 2:5
made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved.

    Ephesians 2:8
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God.

    2 Timothy 1:9
He has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time.

  14. You can get a crowd bigger than that around a minor car wreck.

  15. LCG,UCG and most of the offshoots are trying to recycle old Worldwide era sermons and lectures. Most of their speakers are not gifted, really just flat out mind numbingly boring. The thought of sitting 2+ hours listening to some sermon on church government or church eras is not appealing anymore.
