From Blather #331
Dave needs Nebuchadnezzar to be resurrected FIRST to tie it all together. Not to worry brethren. Everything is correct and right on schedule
Don't even try to follow the reasoning behind the entire sermon. The fact is that Dave simply is incapable of saying he is badly mistaken and has wasted the time of the brethren pretending he isn't and hasn't.
I walked with different groups of men...........You cannot make the Bible sing with PERFECT HARMONY UNLESS you find a way to get Nebuchadnezzar back in the 1st Kingdom - ahead of the vast billions"....
I dont know about Nebuchadnezzar , but Dave is a definite NIMROD!

ReplyDeleteWhen Dave Pack first started his RCG cult, some of the things he said actually seemed to make some sense. But now, nothing that Dave Pack says seems to make any sense at all. It is nothing but complete nonsense now.
Dave Pack did not grow in grace and knowledge. Instead, he degenerated into utter stupidity.
The RCG motto:
ReplyDelete"In fools we trust."
He's cheating at poker, with that "7.5" card appearing on the flop.
ReplyDeleteBut seriously: is he saying we now need a "modern-day Nebuchadnezzar"?! Instead of a seventh Roman Empire?
Talk about a rewind....
A word to Dave: Rave on, Rasputin!
ReplyDeleteWhat's up with this latest trip, studying Dave Pack sermons? No matter what we all do or say, no matter how hard we try to bring common sense into the personal worlds of the splinter members, as their leaders and wannabes become crazier and crazier, these leaders just won't cancel. Speaking of cancel, we here are pioneers. We've had more than adequate information to cancel the founders of Armstrongism before there ever even was "cancel", and have been putting it out there for decades now. Cancel does not work because in the realm of "belief" facts are often irrelevant. People believe whatever they want to believe not because of facts, but in spite of them. All of the fact-checking in the world will not change some peoples' commitment to their leaders. They'll always toss the facts before they toss their leaders.
Dave may take baths, wear nice clothes, and be materialistic to the point of building himself an empire, but at the core of his mentality, he is no different from Zerubbabel.
David C. Pack is one of God's End-Time Apostles and the End-Time Elijah
ReplyDeleteSure he is...lol. I believed that as well once upon a time.
DeleteBut seriously: is he saying we now need a "modern-day Nebuchadnezzar"?! Instead of a seventh Roman Empire?
ReplyDelete==========================
No, Dave is saying that the original Nebuchadnezzar will be resurrected. The real guy. Not a modern day one. Dave doesn't do clones or types. He wants the real guy. I'm not kidding.
I am endeavoring to listen to 333 now and it is just a confusing mess of superlatives of nonsense. I have no clue how those listening know what the hell this man is talking about. Dave is jumping all over the Bible making a fool out of himself. I have heard more coherent folk explaining their religious fantasies in mental institutions than this theological drivel.
9.17 PM
ReplyDeleteThe "confusing mess of superlatives of nonsense" has a purpose. It's an attack on people's sense of reality. The Pharisee's were doing it in Christ's day with their moral perversions and contradictions.
We should all remember two things: 1) This is happening as the greying ones in the splinters become more and more desperate for the events of the so-called end times to actually happen before their deaths, finally validating their beliefs and the sacrifices they made, and pastoral abuse they suffered. And, 2). We have to factor in the greater backdrop, against which all of this in the ACOGs is happening, the fact that we live in a time when the destabilization of the USA, orchestrated by 45, is still in full bloom. Thus far, our current president has been ineffective in neutralizing and normalizing that dangerous and destructive course. Unless somebody or something can reunite us, the residual divisiveness will indeed destroy us as a nation.
ReplyDeletePack has become a religious fanatic in place of being a man of faith, a Christian and walking with God.
ReplyDeleteI'd say Pack isn't the only religious fanatic about.
Why not have Nebuchadnezzar join Dave's looney party? He has had Judas being resurrected in the near future, for at least the past 4 or 5 years! The son of perdition at the time of Christ's betrayal, Judas will be reprising his role at the time of the falling away...
ReplyDeleteJohn 17:12 While I was with them in the world, I kept them in Your name. Those that You have given Me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition, that the Scripture might be fulfilled.
2Th 2:3 Let not anyone deceive you by any means. For that Day shall not come unless there first comes a falling away, and the man of sin shall be revealed, the son of perdition,
2Th 2:4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God, or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, setting himself forth, that he is God.
The thing I do not understand is why does Judas come back as Judas (the man of sin, the son of perdition) and Nebuchadnezzar for whatever is role is in Dave's mind...BUT, Dave gets to play all of the "good" roles...such as Elijah, King David, Joshua, etc...? Why wouldn't God raise up these men to reprise their roles? Why make poor Dave be such a multiple personality? I guess Dave is SO GOOD that no one else is fit to get the job done!
We should all recall the words of our Savior Jesus in the Ovaltine Prophecy,
ReplyDelete"When you see Nebuchadnezzar, the King, resurrected first of all, know the beginning of the end is beginning and possibly trending towards the end, probably"
Dave Pack, professing himself to be wise, has become a fool. Will someone please send in the guys with the butterfly nets to bring this farce to a merciful end?!
ReplyDeleteNot following why Packs eschatological scheme requires a resurrected Nebuchadnezzar II, but OK.
ReplyDeleteCan someone here explain to me why any of Dave's prattling even matters?
ReplyDeleteACOG theology says God will reveal when to flee to the Place of Safety. He will supposedly make this clear to those who are closest to Him.
So, the key is to stay close to God. And the key to staying close to God is to emulate Christ as much as we can.
Watching Dave squirm and re-calculate while he continues to abuse God's people, why would anyone think God would tell Dave the right time to flee to the Place of Safety?
Wouldn't RCG members be much better off giving their money to the poor instead of to Dave? Wouldn't they be better off looking for ways to be more loving and serving, instead of looking for ways to make sense of Dave's latest ramblings?
Dave's insane search for calendar dates might be attractive to some with no ACOG background. But why do actual ACOG people bother listening to him?
Wouldn't RCG members be much better off giving their money to the poor instead of to Dave?
ReplyDeleteRCG members ARE the poor
So are these sermons available to all, or do you need a 'special contact?'
ReplyDeleteNovember 11, 2021 at 10:56 PM:
ReplyDeleteAgree with your first point whole heartedly. Your second point is total Bull Shit.
With regards to your second point, you obviously haven't been following Special Counsel Durham's latest indictments in the Trump Campaign Russian collusion hoax. The destabilization which you speak of began before President Trump ever took office. This hoax including weaponizing the FBI to spy on a political opposition campaign makes anything Richard Nixon ever did look like child's play. We don't come to Banned by HWA to discuss politics. But if you are going to post comments with such BS, don't expect it to go unanswered.
By the way, its interesting in the January 6 circus show currently going on in Congress, no one (and, especially not the Democrat corporate propaganda media) has made any reference to Executive Order 13849 signed by President Obama on his second day in office regarding Executive Privilege. Gee, I wonder why? Biden has not rescinded this order:

But again, we don't come to Banned by HWA to discuss politics.

ReplyDelete[False] Christian at 8:31 PM said...“David C. Pack is one of God's End-Time Apostles and the End-Time Elijah”
The PLAIN TRUTH is that David C. Pack is one of Satan's end-time false apostles and a false end-time Elijah.
I am not in the USA, but my understanding of Obama's Executive order 13849 was to reverse a MORE RESTRICTIVE policy on executive records (13233), signed by George W Bush, and put things back to where they were under Ronald Reagan.
ReplyDeleteObama's https://fas.org/sgp/obama/presidential.html
George Bush's https://fas.org/irp/offdocs/eo/eo-13233.htm
But what would I know? And we are not discussing politics here!!
ReplyDeleteBrief Church History
Herbert W. Armstrong had taught that the Worldwide Church of God was the Philadelphia era of the true church.
To the church in Philadelphia: “Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown” (Revelation 3:7, NKJV).
After Herbert W. Armstrong died on January 16, 1986, the apostate Joseph W. Tkach, Sr. took over and threw out of the Worldwide Church of God virtually everything that Herbert W. Armstrong had taught the people.
Next, along came false prophets like Gerald Flurry and David Pack with their little splinter groups claiming to help people hold fast to what they had been taught by Herbert W. Armstrong, but actually taking away from them what they had been taught and replacing it with perversions of the old teachings.

DeleteHow can a church be Philadelphian, then in a few years after HWAs death rather than a few generations, become Laodicean?
It must mean that Herbs WWCG was either never Philadelphian, or just wore the mask of being Philadelphian.
Dave C.Pack is definitely mentioned in scripture. Matthew 7:15 "Beware..
ReplyDeleteof ravenous wolves."

I receive them unsolicited anonymously in email. They all start sounding the same actually.
ReplyDelete"You have to REJECT the Bible - you have to REJECT God's word - to believe Nebuchadnezzar is not here before the Day of the Lord and the Chaldeans with him"
Acts 1:3,6
To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the THINGS PERTAINING TO THE KINGDOM OF GOD:
When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to (Nebuchadnezzar)?
Is that how Dave finished his puzzle?
Dennis gets Dave's rants anonymously? Could the source be a Dave hater who makes makes it all up? This Nebuchadnezzar stuff is insanity beyond the pale.
ReplyDeleteIt is difficult to understand the mind of Dave Pack, his perspectives, and all of the little players and Bible characters involved in his end time prophetic scenarios. Sometimes, I wonder if he doesn't have a big board in his living room with little soldiers and citizens, on a map of nations renamed with ancient Biblical names, on which he simulates mock battles, events, diseases and weather patterns. Kind of like a hyper version of what we have seen in movies and television programs written by perhaps Stephen King, JJ Abrams, or M Night Shyamalan. In theses scenarios, I believe that Dave's board has already seen a Nebuchadnezzar-like character, but events have recently taken that character out, removed his power, and he is currently on the sidelines, but still making a lot of noise and exerting much influence. We will know in a few short years whether or not that Nebuchadnezzar once again reattains power. The next presidential election is only three short years away. Will 45 become 47?
ReplyDeleteWait..things are bad, but I don't think that the tribulation is here yet. What is he talking about?

Um...I have the audio sermons only snippets of text. The source is Dave Pack, giver of the Babble which maybe whey Dave has given Nebuchadnezzar, King of Babble-one center stage for the Second Coming. Well, just a bit off center stage.
And too, I don't hate the person of Dave Pack. I am both intrigued and sorry he has sunk to such theological tale weaving and how it seems it can only end.
PS I also am just one person on a much larger list of recipients of Dave's sermons.
ReplyDeleteWell, why dont you tell us why Dave needs Nebuchadnezzar II resurrected?
DeleteOnly 3 types of religious people, cynical exploiters , gullible exploited or those with mental health issues that genuinely believe it,
ReplyDeleteYou are most certainly on to something, 8:46, only your types encompass a much broader base than just religious people. These days, your descriptions largely include followers of right wing politicians. Look at how quickly the defense attorneys latched on to the mental health issues of those charged for their roles in the January 6 insurrection! Oops! Almost forgot! The followers of the political figure who incited the insurrection largely are the religious right! They didn't even care that he threw his religious right VP under the bus! Nice shot!
ReplyDeleteNice shot 9:14! You have perfectly described the DemocRATS!
ReplyDeleteThese days, your descriptions largely include followers of left-wing politicians. With Sleepy Joe and his abysmal approval rating and Cackling fake French accent Kamala at an even lower approval rating, the democratic party is in shambles. It is so delightful watching the party crumble in front of our eyes!
ReplyDeleteAnonymous November 12 at 9:17 PM speculated that "Herbs WWCG was either never Philadelphian, or just wore the mask of being Philadelphian."
They wore the mask, definitely. They smeared their faces with cream cheese.
"Will 45 become 47?"
ReplyDelete'God forbid' as apostle Paul would say...
So much discussion about a man who is certifiably mentally ill. It will never happen, but it would be interesting to see what they would find or not find on an MRI of his brain or at the time of autopsy. He's been on a serious mental decline since the 80's, probably longer, but the WCG needed his ilk to keep the momentum going. Unfortunately he has estranged his immediate family so infinitely that if they tried to Baker Act him it wouldn't stick. So, people of RCG, you get what you get.
