And here we go AGAIN!
Dave's latest.
His creature he calls "Christ" is set to return tomorrow night or sometime on April 15 where ever RCG people are still keeping Passover.
How many times does a false prophet need to lie before his followers call him a liar and walk away?
I can state with 100% assurance that Dave's creature will NOT be returning on Passover or any time soon after that. When this creature fails to appear he will tell another lie. Then another lie. Then another. And yet, his cadre of emasculated man/boys will sit there like happy seals and clap him on the back and tell him what a great prophet he is.
Things we were learning and examining yesterday and before CONTINUED to come clear to ALL of us at ☣Headquarters☢.
THINK.
A Thursday Passover night arrival by Christ would be seven days before the “last day” (of Unleavened Bread!) or “that day” (the day of the Lord)—when the WHOLE world will keep the final day of Passover with Christ.
We took EXTRA time to be ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN🥰 of the ENORMOUS number of passages that are involved.
The EVIDENCE is simply OVERWHELMING☠—FAR BEYOND what you COULD imagine!
Passover preparation everywhere should NOT change in any regard.
Some will complete the service (and already be back home for hours), for others it may be several hours until their service begins.
ALL 🤯EVIDENCE🤯 is that Christ “interrupts” this special night of the year, with some actually in the midst of the service, as will be the case in this time zone.
God speed tomorrow night!
Dave Pack has become the National Enquirer version of the ACOGs! I don't understand how deliberately departing from all ot the events HWA said had to precede the 2C of JC restores anything, let alone gets embraced and believed by anyone who self-identifies as a COG member!
ReplyDeletePlease remember that during His first coming, Jesus didn't always recognize His Father's will or the details of His plan. Yet His prayer was always, "Not my will, but Thy will, be done." Dave is acting exactly as a humble and deferential Messiah would act if God had put him in that role but not yet revealed all of the details.
ReplyDeleteEventually there will have to be a reveal, where David Christ unveils his true identity to his followers. Until then, unless RCG members have privately concluded that their leader is indeed the Second Coming of Christ, they are fools for staying around and watching the madness grow worse.
He pulled this back in 2020. (He cannot seem to come up with new material.) When it failed on passover and night to be much observed, he began teaching "the seven days of passover" to draw out his failures through the whole week.
ReplyDeleteFor those who observe Passover, it is a distraction from the meaning of the night. Taking the passover, and yet in the back of your mind, wondering if Christ will come. But perhaps since DCP's failures are so common and frequent, nobody is buying it this time.
Sadly, some may still.
This is what I call Designer Prophecy. It is an 1844 cycle. It is created to suit a purpose and it is either un-exegeted or poorly exegeted. It is feasible for this Splinterist preacher to do this because he understands that there is a sociological condition among his congregants that permits it. The data that we don't have concerns the mindset of his congregants or what triggers a cycle. There is a collection of people in the pews who are taking this bumpy ride. They must have complete trust in the driver at the pulpit. I do not understand the dimensions of a commitment of this sort.
ReplyDeleteWe already know the outcome. I suspect his congregants know, too. None of HWA's eschatological preliminaries are in place (tribulation, Day of the Lord) and Jesus will not be conjured. So, this cycle will end and shortly another will begin. My guess is five or more cycles by Pentecost.
This Splinter group, however, is not really substantively different from the other Splinter groups. This Splinter group just has multiple 1844 cycles (Prophesied date of Return, Waiting in Expectation, No Return occurs) over short periods of time. Other denominations in Splinterdom would just differ as to number of cycles and cycle duration - always fewer and longer from what little I know.
Glad I am not taking the ride. My opinion as an outside observer...

OK, 5:13, that confirms worst suspicions! Dave is taking Jesus as a literary character, and is doing the church version of "street theatre", taking great literary liberties with Jesus' deference to the Father, actually exaggerating it. And by all accounts, his congregants are lapping it up, and apparently loving the roller coaster ride. He has very successfully made them, and to an extent their families, codependents.
ReplyDeleteThe only question, is how long can he continue to shovel this manure on his mushroom-like members? ACOG types have demonstrated incredible capacity to maintain loyalty to their teachers despite their continued failures. They should get a clue that if this foretells the way things are going to be in the Kingdom, salvation isn't worth a damn. If God were behind this farce, it would be as if He had shot himself in the foot by choosing autistic messengers. Perhaps Dave worships the Demiurge unknowingly.
ReplyDeleteSatan and his false prophet David Pack are making RCG cult members look like some of the biggest fools around. Those who really love TRUTH should not be going along with all these LIES.
World Wrestling Federation drama, declarations and antics are now more believable than Pack's are! :-)

They are not any more foolish than any other COG cult followers: Living, Philadelphia, United, Cogwa, Restored, International, GCI, etc, etc, etc.
Degree is important, 9:29, because it is indicative of group balance, or the lack thereof, and the statistical probability of a crash and burn scenario. Yes, all are foolish, because they all surely realize that the HWA prophecy mold is 30 years past overdue under worst case last possible dates for the end time as preached by HWA and all of these ministers.
ReplyDeleteSomething happens in the mind of a man with age, when he realizes that he's got perhaps a 5 year window left in which to operate. That's a really short time period that goes by in the blink of an eye! There is somewhat more balance in United, Living, and COGWA because you have a collection in those orgs of the older, matured ministers who have all known one another long term. These support guys keep the head honcho on course with their seasoned counsel. When you have an autocrat who has surrounded himself with young sycophants, essentially a cheering section, it is easy for a leader to go off course and not even realize how badly. And, when you have just one leader, unaccountable to anyone, virtually anything could happen, limited perhaps only by that man's charisma or lack of it. So, foolish? Yes. All equally foolish? No. We'll probably never know how much our public discussions here actually prevent even worse things from happening in these groups! You can't truthfully say that all of our criticisms are rooted in bitterness or in Satan.
Wait on your roofs in white or Jesus might not see you. The lights of the Giant Eagle will reflect off your garments! The first thing Jesus will check upon arriving in Wadsworth is if the common doctrine was obeyed. Greater love hath no man than to lay down his life for David Passover. Pack 15:13
ReplyDeleteHow rude of Jesus to interrupt the Passover service! Worthy of disfellowshipping!
ReplyDeleteDid he interrupt it yet? Its almost over!

There has never been a more perfect time than to embrace the worthiness of 2 Timothy 3:7 this Passover evening. "Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth" is quite the parallel to the events that happened sometime around 30 A.D. Then it was the caste religious system steeped in tradition that came in the dark of night to kill the messenger - the messenger that bore witness to the truth. Now Dave Pack in his own little caste religious system steeped in "ever learning" has now some 2000 years later killed the truth of the message of the same messenger.
The RCG membership all dressed in black tonight, exercising steadfast silence - are all bearing somber faces and some even shedding tears of sorrow apparently for their dead savior and his dead message. What a contrast to the one who said in Luke 22:15; "with desire I have desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer." The same man said if you eat not my flesh and drink my blood, you have no life in you. So it looks like a night to be much desired and a night to celebrate life in all its incarnations.
Dave's seven year ever learning message lost in the darkness of the small blip of a city in the great worldwide mass hasn't brought desire or life to anyone. And the greater RCG membership has lost sight of the true messenger because they no longer can see the true message. A sad sorrowful night indeed.
Reports, people!
ReplyDeleteIs this the year Dave finally pulled a Jim Jones and poisoned the Passover wine?
Did he pull a David Koresh and set the building afire with locked doors?
Did he declare himself the returned Christ?
Or did nothing happen, except that Dave got an idea for next week's message announcing why Christ ABSOLUTELY HAS TO return before the Last Day of Unleavened Bread?
I see Bob Thiel plagiarized your post here as if he received the information. He just proved once again that he reads this blog religiously.

Time to give Pack's church a new acronym: COVID
ReplyDeleteChurch Of Venality In David
HWA probably could have graduated high school had he been teachable, willing to learn from actual scholars, take advise.. Ehh what am I saying, he's none of those!
ReplyDeletePack has misidentified the guest expected to show up at Passover.
ReplyDeleteThe Jews know it is Elijah.
Packs members reminds me of being constantly pounded from the pulpit with obey. yield, surrender. submit etc. during the HWA era. Mention any experience or interesting item on TV, and many a member would respond with "have you discussed this with the minister," as if he is a god and we are literal children.
ReplyDeleteDave has cashed in his chips on this twisted teaching, and is eating alive those who tagged along and refused to become mental adults.
Yeah, 7:06. Back in the HWA years, it was just like living under Putin is today! The members to whom you alluded would also ensure that the dude with the interesting ideas soon had an opportunity to discuss them with the ministers. The thought police and the rat patrol were everywhere!
