Crackpot Prophet Bob Goes to Ireland to Preach Next to A Pagan Phallus

Prophet Bob thrusting his big fat Bible in the air getting a little excited about a pagan phallus in Ireland

The most highly doubly-blessed prophet in the history of Christianity went to Ireland recently to gather information and possibly preempt Gerald Flurry in discovering the Ark of the Covenant. Nothing frustrates our perpetually butt-hurt prophet than having another COG preempt him. Gerald Flurry has been dreaming for years of digging up Hill of Tara in Ireland where he foolishly believes Jeremiah and his daughters brought the Ark of the Covenant and buried it in Hill of Tara.

When he went to Hill of Tara he was double excited by what he found. Never one to miss an opportunity, he rose to the occasion by thrusting his giant fat bible in the air as he stood next to the pagan phallus preaching about something that has no meaning whatsoever to any Christian, particularly his African followers who could care less.

Like so many in Armstrongism, he has to search far and wide to find things that support the inherently racist doctrine of British Israelism that so many cling to. Without this myth to prop up their belief system that they are special and set apart from this world as a specially chosen people, Armstrongism would die. As usual, absolutely nothing that he preaches about has any worth to a follower of Jesus.

Dr. Thiel went to the Hill of Tara in Ireland to see the claimed Lia Fail as well as a location some looked for the Ark of the Covenant. He also went to Blarney and viewed the Blarney Stone. Were any of these really the stone of destiny that some believe the prophet Jeremiah took with him along with one or more daughters of King Zedekiah? What might any of this have to do with the British family? Have any of them believed in British-Israelism? Has the British coronation ceremony been consistent with biblical coronations of the kings of Judah? What about Prince Charles--could he have descended from the throne of David? Dr. Thiel provides insights on these matters and more.

  1. I cannot stop laughing at our favorite, littlest little prophlet of all. He makes it way too easy. With that photo, the jokes write themselves! I bet he is standing on his doubly blessed tiptoes to appear a teeny bit taller than the rock. They should rename it the Liar Fail when he's next to it.

  5. These guys who are looking for the Ark of the Covenant should remember: "Be careful what you wish for."

They have no idea how to handle it, and if it even still existed, they'd end up like Uzzah.

Personally, I'd be more impressed if Bob made it his lifetime mission to find the remains of Amelia Earhart.

Bob has lifts in his shoes to increase his stature. Hasn't helped much.

  7. Bob in Ireland.....desperately seeking attention and credibility.........
Sorry Bob not even the Leprechaun's would agree with you.
Best to stick with religion and not myths and legends unless of course your religion is myths and legends.
Hope you had a wee pint of the golden stuff while there. But not too much mind, you may start seeing those small fellas called Leprechaun's.

  9. Listening to Bob's claim about the Davidic line being transported to the Emerald Isle and beyond I thought of this scenario:

Pilate: Are you King of the Jews?
Jesus: No, I think he's in Ireland.

  10. Weather's terrible in that photo pity. On a clear day you can see for miles from that spot. It has such beautiful views.
Bodies are what is buried underneath those hills. Bodies and lots of them. Much of Hill of Tara was excavated in the early 50s or thereabouts.

  12. As much as I have advocated genetics as the final judgement on BI, I realize for "true believers" this just does not work. A parallel example: Mormons believe that Native Americans are descendants of Abraham. The result has been a clash between Mormon theology and science:

"For Mormons, the lack of discernible Hebrew blood in Native Americans is no minor collision between faith and science. It burrows into the historical foundations of the Book of Mormon, a 175-year-old transcription that the church regards as literal and without error." (William Lobdell, Los Angeles Times)

    From some Mormon researchers:

"Mormon researchers such as anthropologist Thomas W. Murphy and ex-Mormon plant geneticist Simon Southerton state that the substantial collection of Native American genetic markers now available are not consistent with any detectable presence of ancestors from the ancient Middle East." (Wikipedia article, "Genetics and the Book of Mormon)

    The Mormon response:

"Much as critics and defenders of the Book of Mormon would like to use DNA studies to support their views, the evidence is simply inconclusive." (From the LDS website)

Web sources indicate that most Mormons still believe that Native Americans are descended from Abraham. The irony is that Armstrongists would laugh Mormons to scorn for this belief while Armstrongists themselves believe that another Gentile people, the British, are descended from Abraham. Armstrongists would contend that Native Americans are Canaanites and the Mormons are, therefore, in error.

My guess is that genetic science will never be convincing to either Mormons or Armstrongists. Any revision of these cases of genetic misidentification would be more difficult for Armstrongists because so many of them have their self-esteem wrapped up in British-Israelism. In BI, European Gentiles have replaced the Jews (the opposite of the White Nationalist complaint) and the BI advocates are not likely to relinquish their hold on this bit of ego-stroking blarney. Ever.

The plain truth is that if Jeremiah's Jewish daughters (haplogroup J) ever showed up in Ireland on their mythic journey, they would have found it densely populated by the Irish (haplogroup R1b). And it still is densely populated by the R1b Irish. And there is no archaeogenetic evidence that there was ever a population of R1b people living in Palestine - especially in the area of the Northern Ten Tribes. So, the evidence is lacking at both ends of the journey made by the daughters of Jeremiah. It's not there Ireland and it's not there in Palestine.

Dude, take a careful look at the pic that is posted with Booby, and there is obviously bird defecation on the stone. Glad it was clean for you on your visit.

  15. As an aside, the UCG has this on Eze 17:22

“I will crop off from the topmost of its young twigs [Zedekiah’s children] a tender one [female], and will plant it on a high and prominent mountain [a great kingdom]”.

‘female’ in brackets should be ‘male’.

Eze 17:22 a tender [rak, adjective, masculine singular] one; [NIV: “tender sprig”].

In the Hebrew of 17:22 there is no pronoun or noun following “rak”. In the English translation above “one/sprig” is provided to give the sense. But in Hebrew it is possible to omit the noun and use its adjective as an independent noun - as the adjective is masculine, “tender” functions as a masculine noun.

(As adjectives have gender in Hebrew, in a context understood as involving children, the phrase “younger [adjective-masculine] son [noun-masculine]” “son” is in a sense redundant as this information is included in the adjective).

1Ch 29:1 Furthermore David the king said unto all the congregation, Solomon my son, whom alone God hath chosen, is yet young and tender [rak - adjective, masculine singular], and the work is great: for the palace is not for man, but for the LORD God.

In Hebrew, the default gender is masculine; the “ah” ending is added to give the feminine gender, as seen in the example below.

Dt 28:54 So that the man that is tender [rak] among you, and very delicate [‘anog],

Dt 28:56 The tender [rakkah] and delicate [‘anuggah] woman among you

The “rak” is the Messiah; not a daughter of Zedekiah.

  16. I havent watched it, but I'm sure Bobby goes to great length to discredit the Lia Fail since British Israelism identified it with the Stone of Scone.

  17. Prolly nobody wanted to hose it down while Bob Thiel was standing there with his Bible.

One time years ago, I was in my backyard laying down the second stage of a three stage paint job on some tanks. Suddenly without warning, a flock of geese flew over. One of them let go with a whopper of a crap, and it landed on one of the tanks. Ended up spending hours reprepping. Thankfully, it didn't happen during the color coat.
