  4. Matthew 24:10 - And then shall MANY (emphasis mine) be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

We were taught in the Worldwide Church of God that this scripture was referring to within the Church of God.

  5. Offending the weak? That is the specialty of these HWA groups. I saw it so many times it makes me sick to my stomach even thinking about it. Woe to that man who does this.

  6. "Not offending the weak" is used as a club to shut down the questioning and disagreement with church teachings. "Unity," "causing division/contention," "speaking the same thing," etc, are used in the same way.

  7. Anyway, it's all just a storm in a teacup:
    They're down to only ~1000 Armstrong-Grade tithebots

  8. Ah, the hell. If you had 1,000 tithebots who made $40,000 per year, your "work" would gross 4 mill per year from first alone. Even someone with 100 tithebots would gross $400K. If you have even a modicum of charisma, an Armstrong franchise can earn you a better than average income.
