Part 7 How It's Done TV Discusses Dave Pack's Recent "Unopen House"
Dave Pack hired armed Wadsworth Police to keep Dawn Blue and Mark Cebrian from entering RCG's recent "unOpen House".
This is the picture that Dave never wanted to be associated with him and the Restored Church of God.
Excellent series Dawn and Marc. I wish this would wake RCG members up, but I know it won't. If only one leaves the church this makes it all worthwhile!
I think TPTB on the third floor were convinced the WCTV duo would make an attempt to gain entry, thus the cop, which looks really "over the top" for such an informal event.
Marc said that the RCG doesn't use brainwashing but rather manipulation. I find that hard to believe. I attended the WWCG for a decade and a high percentage of the Sabbath "messages" was brainwashing. Different ministers used the same techniques, so they were obviously schooled on the topic. One example, my first minister gave a sermon on "obedience" about every fourth week. And everyone knew that "obedience" meant blindly obeying him since he treated everyone like rightless children. I recall a "Freudian slip" when his mask slipped off and his voice gave away that he knew that what he was doing was wrong. But as is commonly the case, it's follow the church culture rather than follow Christ.
Anonymous on Sept 22 @ 11:28 - I have to be careful with what I say and how I say it. I qualified the "brainwashing" comment in case RCG ever sues for defamation and libel. They have never done that before...but they also never had a whistleblower before. That word has meaning to different people. Like the word "cult" or "liar."
In similar fashion, I repeat that DCP is a "prophetic fraud" and "biblical fraud" and not just a fraud. Same reason. I try to be targeted with my word-choices for being accurate.
Some leave RCG and say it was brainwashing and do call it a cult. I do not do that because that is not my experience. Your WCG experience is yours. I do not diminish that. And your comments could be very true. Again, because I am public with these words I need to use caution.
