Tiny Crackpot Prophet Claims He Will Be The One Uniting The Church

One would think after watching the epic Dave pack debacle over the last 10 years or so with the outlandish claims of three COG leaders being struck down and all of their members joining up with Dave for the final push, that crazy self-appointed crackpots like Bwana Beto Bob Thiel should learn to keep their mouths shut. But, no, he cannot. His narcissism and vanity trump every decision he makes and boy does he make a lot of wild ones. We mock Dave and Gerald Flurry's craziness, but Beto Bob's outlandish statements are just as ludicrous.

Today, the self-righteous know-it-all was lambasting the Church of God Outreach Ministries out of the UK for an article in the newsletter about Zephaniah and prophecy that was written in 2016. Beto Bob was immediately taken aback by any other COG understanding prophecy since he and he alone has the inside scoop on EVERYTHING.

Beto gets his homeopathic knickers in an organic twist when any of the COGs dare to make the claim that there is no need for a prophet in this day and age. When they say that then it invalidates Beto's position as the one true prophet, preordained before the dawn of creation to come in the end times to lead the one true church to enlightenment in the desert of Jordan.

Beto had to throw this comment in:

Jesus taught that His prophets were not heeded throughout history (e.g. Matthew 23:29-31; Luke 13:34, 16:31).

They were not, but why does Beto feel the need to say this? It is because we reject his self-appointed position as a prophet to the church. We know for a fact that's a lie and that frosts his butt to no end.

God had given Joseph dreams that his brothers would not heed. Furthermore, even though the situation in the world was bad, they were not taking the action they should.

Something similar is happening now.

Here we go, AGAIN...those dumb dreams and church members not heeding or believing his dreams and words spoken. How can any of us seriously take him at this word? Rod Meredith did not. Dibar Apartian did not. The evangelists and ministry of the Living Church of God did not. LCG members did not. And yet here we are once again being accused of not heeding his words.  Beto, please! Get down off your cross, someone needs the wood!

Beto next sticks his wimpy chest out and pounds on it with his flailing hands and says LOOK AT ME!

In Acts 2:17-18, the Apostle Peter said that God would provide dreams and prophets in the last days, but even most true Christians do not accept that. They are at least figuratively looking at themselves and not accepting what God is doing...(suppsoedly in the improperly named "continuing" Church of "god".

Next, Beto makes a bold claim similar to Dave Pack and that is a supposed gathering of COG's into one united fellowship. Bob, being the Beto he is, believes that HE is the one to do that.

Now, there is something specifically for our time in the 21st century to consider as God inspired the Prophet Zephaniah to also write the following:

1 Gather yourselves together, yes, gather together, O undesirable nation, (Zephaniah 2:1)

Although it has certain misunderstandings, the Jamieson, Fausset, and Brown Commentary realized that the gathering together was intended for a religious group or assembly:

Zephaniah 2:1
Gather yourselves together – to a religious assembly, to avert the judgment by prayers, (Joel 2:16, “Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders,” etc.) (from Jamieson, Fausset, and Brown Commentary, Electronic Database. Copyright © 1997, 2003, 2005, 2006 by Biblesoft, Inc. All rights reserved.)

When are they to gather together?

2 Before the decree is issued, Or the day passes like chaff, Before the Lord’s fierce anger comes upon you, Before the day of the Lord’s anger comes upon you! (Zephaniah 2:2)

Can you imagine what a living hell it would be to isolated in Petra with Bwana Beto Bob as your church leader and speaker for 3 1/2 years? Holy hell, what a nightmare! The licking flames in the Valley of Armageddon would look pretty good at that point.

The Beto goes on to say:

The gathering is to take place well before the day of the Lord (which happens about 2 1/2 years after the Great Tribulation of Matthew 24:21 begins) and before some type of decree is issued.

Who does God want to gather together?

The end time Christians. Notice what Jesus stated and something the Apostle Peter wrote:

19 If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. (John 15:19, NKJV)
9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: 10 Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy. (1 Peter 2:9-10, KJV)

This is a peculiar people. These are people who the world does not desire. These are Philadelphian Christians.

Read the subtleness of Beto's comment above, particularly the last line. In Beto's fantastical mind, there are NO real Philadelphian Christians OUTSIDE the improperly named "continuing" Church of "god".

No other COG on the face of the earth is more humble and meek than Bwana Bob's followers. Even he believes himself a really humble and meek man. After all, he is peculiar, so this HAS to be about HIM!

For they are the only ones who will actually ‘gather together’ as they should.

Why?

Because it is they who will lead the final phase of the work and it is only to the Philadelphians that Jesus promises to protect from the coming hour of trial, also referred to as the Great Tribulation and the Day of the Lord:

Why should we believe Bwana Bob is leading the final phase of the world? Every single COG leader out there makes the same claim. How can so many who claim to be right are so wrong?

Beto goes on to make more claims about how he is the one to gather the COG's together:

The decree to ‘gather together’ will be repeated in the area of Judah just before the time of great destruction.

Why a decree?

Apparently, to make it easier for people who read what Jesus said to better be able to understand that Matthew 24:15 and Mark 13:14 and Daniel 9:27b and Daniel 11:31 had been fulfilled.

By whom will the decree be made?

The Bible says:

7 Surely the Lord God does nothing,
Unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.
8 A lion has roared!
Who will not fear?
The Lord God has spoken!
Who can but prophesy? (Amos 3:7-8)

The prophet may make the decree personally and/or pass it on to another authority in the church to make.

Who is the only Church of God in the 21st century to teach all of this?

Who is that Bwana Bob? Who is that?

This is who...

The Continuing Church of God.

ROTFLMAO!!!!!!!!

If you're not part of Bwana Bob's little group then you will NOT know when it is time to flee and will be left behind to listen to Dave Pack preach the same sermon for 3 1/2 years and be subject to Ron and Laura Weinland walking the streets of Jerusalem for those 3 1/2 years.

If you are not with the group that is leading the final phase of the workwill you not be able to flee if you wait until the last moment? While that may be remotely possible for some, remember that God inspired Zephaniah to admonish God’s people to ‘gather together…before the decree is issued.’

Most will discount this and many will scoff. Most COGs do not have anyone considered to be a prophet, and in those other than CCOG who claim to have prophets, those prophets have been proven to be false (e.g. PCG, CGPFKG, TPM). But the Bible says that there will be prophets in the last days and that God does communicate with them in dreams...

The Great Bwana Beto ends with this ludicrous statement:

The old WCG taught that Zephaniah had to do with being protected, yet few teach that today.

Since no later than 2007 I have written that Zephaniah had to do with Philadelphians being ‘gathered together’ so that they would be protected from the coming trial that will hit the earth.

We in the Continuing Church of God “have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts” (2 Peter 1:19, KJV).”

Should we not be “exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching” (Hebrews 10:25)?

We in the Continuing Church of God boldly teach the need for Philadelphians to be ‘gathering together’ today. Will you heed God’s instructions as the Prophet Zephaniah was inspired to write? Would you possibly like to be protected? If so, will you ‘gather together’?

  2. Bob uses a subtle form of eisegesis by selecting different translations. "Here's the text in the xyz translation (which is closer to what I want it to mean)."

Is Bob's arm flapping rate increasing, or just becoming even more random?

  3. FWIW--- Im a PITTSBURGHIAN CHRISTIAN!

Booby is not just a "homeopath" , he is a SOCIOPATH!

  5. Tonto, Bob included one of your challenges in his latest posting:

If Thiel was such a great prophet, then why didn’t he
specifically and directly warn the world about this
    coronavirus several weeks ago?

Of course, he claimed he warned us, in 2013, 2018 and 2019. However, I question "specifically" and "directly". IMHO, Jonah was specific and direct, Bob peppering his pages with a plethora of possibility procrastination was not.

And the first two "sources" for his linked story (above) are the NY Post and UK Sun -- both Murdoch tabloids, which, well, enough said...

  6. Extracting various specific events in scripture to be fulfilled now is a devious deceptive device (DDD) of false apostles and false prophets.

  7. I keep wondering when ol' Flailzeebub is gonna give it up and start actin' normal, but got tired of holding my breath.

The delusion that you might have some revealed truth to spread must be some pretty powerful stuff.

  8. What I'll never understand is how Bob Thiel missed knowing in advance that Donald Trump would be calling for the suspension of the Constitution. I mean, anyone who has studied the rise of the Third Reich in the 1930s and noted all the parallels had to have seen that one coming! It doesn't even require a prophet or any supernatural abilities to have known that was inevitable.

  9. It's nice to know that Thiel reads me here on Banned.

Bobby--- Im actually pretty easy to impress. You have not made any "prediction" that anyone who follows the news and
reads a little bit, could not make.

Here are some predictions of mine, which mirrors some of your KRAP---

There will be a disease outbreak.
There will be a military action.
There will be a natural disaster.
    etc, etc , etc.

Your predictions are PREDICTABLE! Im willing to come over to your side, but you have NEVER provided anything of surprise or substance over the years as a so called "prophet".

  10. 12:17,
Why are you fixated on Trump. Further, since when do the Dems care about the Constitution. Trump makes an off the cuff remark referring to Constitutional requirements regarding elections and timing. Yet, you don't care about all the Dems that have little use for the Constitution and believe it to be an outdated document.

  11. BTW, Trump advocates for gun rights unlike the Third Reich. Trump was a supporter of the Christian faith unlike the Third Reich. Trump advocated for a pro-life stance unlike the Third Reich. Just because Trump is a charismatic leader does not make him a Hitler. Trump advocated for increasing parents' rights regarding what was taught in the classroom, unlike the Third Reich. Trump advocated for smaller government, unlike the Third Reich. Trump advocated for private business, unlike the Third Reich. Trump advocated for less interference in other countries, unlike the Third Reich. You know very little about that period of history.

  12. It amazes me that those in the COGs fail to understand that the prophets of old did not come from the religious sects of the day. Instead, they were picked from amongst the poor and despised of the day. None of them were rich or high and mighty. They did not establish assemblies or try to gather people to themselves.

Why have these 'followers' of Elohim failed to see this? I can only determine that the reason is because of vanity. That they thought way too much of themselves. That they believed that Elohim worked in them and only them. Do you notice the similarities of what is transpiring today?

Yes, there is coming a time when Yahweh will step in and thunder His Word to the nations. Please note that the Great Tribulaton that is taught in scripture is directed to all nations and not just the House of Israel and the House of Judah. When that true prophet comes he will be hated and despised. He will be demonized by the leaders of the day and their corrupted MSMs will do their bit to also undermine the message and character of the coming one.

In conclusion, I state that none of these religious groups would believe or support the coming one. They are far too wrapped up in their little worlds to acknowledge that the Most High has not picked anyone in their group to become His Mouth to this dying, sinful world.

  13. What Bob seems to have missed is that Zephaniah was a contemporary of Josiah and Jeremiah. His "gather together" remark resulted in... what? Josiah died from an Egyptian arrow when he picked a fight trying to please his masters. Nebuchadnezzar's army still sacked Jerusalem decades later. Its not as if said gathering served as some sort of means of escape. If anything, Jeremiah spent his time urging the elite to surrender to the Babylonians instead of trying to mount a defense - which must have made him quite unpopular. Not following quite why Thiel latched onto this.

  14. The key to the whole Trump movement, 9:35 is understanding that authoritarianism is always bad government, giving supposed freedom to the select ones, while infringing upon the freedom of nearly everyone else. And it morphs and takes many forms which may not parallel directly with every single detail from a past historical situation, but the general atmosphere is one of imposing a set of state enforced values upon the citizenry, with resistance being rendered futile, because government will crush you if you dissent. Fortunately, people are now on to him. Leaders of the party he hijacked are coming to their senses and taking great umbrage with the big lie and how it is now losing elections for them. They've spoken out against his dinner with Ye, and his remarks about the Constitution. Leaders of the Christian right are realizing that he used them and took them for a ride, and are expressing their disgust. The parents rights about which you speak are the ones that cater to right wingers, and tend to remarginalize the kids who are different and were previously protected just a short time ago. His classroom materials yanked education back into the early twentieth century and denied many of the scientific and historical truths which have been taken more or less as givens. He was the initiator of our withdrawal from Afghanistan.

I don't believe you know your butt from a hole in the ground, based on the repetition of your radically overly simplified cliches. Donald is also not all that charismatic. He's a know it all bully, interested only in being president for his own MAGA branch of the Republican party, and punishing all the rest. That was good entertainment on TV, but it is oppressive to all who do not agree with him. And, frankly, that's how he defines patriotism, as agreeing totally with him.

  15. 9:35 Sorry, but I'm stating facts. You are stating feelings and vagaries. While there are plenty of people, including myself, that would like for Trump to ride off into the sunset, it's centralization of power that allows for authoritarianism in government and that is the realm of the left in this country. States' rights, being a protection from authoritarian national government, is the desire of the right.

Surely, you feel cognitive dissonance writing your arguments. Parents can't be trusted? Listen to yourself. That is a common goal of authoritarianism; break up the authority of parents in families and communities and infuse "the right way of thinking". You would have made a great Pastor General.

BTW, I have no confusion regarding a hole in the ground and my own anatomy. It's strange that you feel the need to be crude. Are those the lefty topics you believe need to be in the classroom?

    ReplyDelete
  16. Dude, there are leftist authoritarians and rightist authoritarians. Flip sides of the same coin. Commies, and Nazis. When faced with this, all a person can do is to vote against those whom we recognize as concentrating their power the most. I believe that we just did exactly that in the mid term elections, and feel sooo much more optimistic about existing for the next two years. From what I see in the news, I am hoping that next election cycle, it may even be safe to vote Republican again.

PS, You addressed 9:35, but I believe you were attacking 6:43's positions. This would seem to suggest that you, too, are experiencing confusion regarding your personal biology and the geography of your back yard. Was that a little less crude for you? When I read comments such as yours, I immediately realize that they are written by someone with COGnitive dissonance. ACOGnitive dissonance to be more specific.

    ReplyDelete
  17. In my comment at 6:43 Could you replace "9:35" with "11:56"?

    ReplyDelete
  18. Yes, yes there are leftist authoritarians and rightest authoritarians. My point is that it is not the Right that is foisting a new language and demanding not just tolerance or acceptance, but even celebration of things that are harmful to the individual and society and should not be celebrated. And yes, I have strong friendships with a wide variety of people.

Continuing, the Right is the party of decentralization (giving to state legislatures or THE PEOPLE the powers not delegated to the US government- this is explicitly stated in the US Constitution). The Right also is looking to reduce agencies that have limited oversight and are not accountable to election by the People.

Gun rights are a part of avoiding authoritarian government. Some people terribly abuse this right (the majority are those supportive of Democrats which matters in any discussion).

    Again, parental rights hinder authoritarianism.

Local control is also part of the Right.

Conservative is actually the more accurate word. Conserving the Constitution, inalienable rights, courts/law/order, a country based in freedom and a bill of rights, etc.

Yes, I mistakenly used 9:35 as it was in your response and it's just what I typed. Thankfully this mistake does not rise to the level that would bring or indicate confusion regarding more fundamental things to my person. I am made of surer and hardier stuff.
