International Women's Day! Celebrate COG Women

Today is International Women's Day.
Who was the woman/women in the church that helped your spiritual growth?

The chances are high that if you had a spiritual mentor who was a woman she certainly knew more about the Bible than your minister or church leader ever did.

We can almost be guaranteed that the Great Bwana Bob Mzungu Thiel
will preach a sermon condemning it.

  1. Bob has some bossy women in CCOG that he panders to. He will want to prop them up so they keep donating.

  3. Is this where we come to celebrate the LCG HQ women who maintain the Wall of Shame where they ridicule the donors and co-workers whose sacrificial gifts make LCG's existence possible?

  4. When is International Men's Day? Women get all the rights. Avoid them at all costs. You will end up with nothing! They are not worth it. At least the old WCG kept women in their place. That was worth something.

  5. This seems like a good place to honor all the ministers' wives in COGs. They face more than we probably realize - and perhaps HELP their husbands more than we know.

(Some are even more transparent and less "P.R.")

In this century, I'd say LeeAnn Luker has been the most influential woman in COGs. She spurred a "women's ministry" move in UCG like no other group has.

At various points of their husbands' lives, Barbara Flurry and Sheryl Meredith were for all intents and purposes running their husbands' churches, at least whenever they wanted to.

  7. Too many BAD women in the WCG and its splinter groups. Not enough GOOD ones.

  8. Life's like a mirror, 9:08! Everything you see surrounding you is simply a reflection of yourself.

Not true! What you are ignorantly and mindlessly repeating is nonsense psychology.

The gossip, slander, fornication, adultery, divorce and remarriage, stalking, etc. were not a reflection of me at all.

They were simply the observable facts of what was really going on in the WCG and its splinter groups.

So, skip the whacky psychobabble and open your eyes.
