Mr Pack Says the Month of Lyar is IT: Personally I Smell Burning Pants

Jewish Pronunciation of the Second Hebrew Month of Lyar

  "Lie-ar"
Hebrew for:  "Pants on Fire"

From Dave Pack's Last Encouraging Note of Failure.

"A brief note is in order: We are all expecting events to unfold by the end of Abib, which is hours away. True to God’s pattern, we have continued to learn through to the end—and at a seemingly ever-faster pace.

Of course, the starting position for every discussion about timing is that we cannot have another year. The news alone screams this remains more true than ever! Every indication (and there is a vast amount of evidence) is that our wait is still almost over.

But it will enter the month of Iyar, which begins tonight. While it looked for a long time that Christ would have to come in Abib, eventually it became clear for many reasons that He absolutely could not come in Abib—but in fact would come the next month—in Iyar.

This note could take a left turn at this point and add 6-10 pages, but that is what sermons are for. About two more would be needed."

  1. From "Old Neo's Book of Practical Millerites", p. 785:

    Charles Fitch:

"Fitch's most notable contribution to Millerism came in the summer of 1843. At the time the public sentiment had begun to turn against the Millerites, and many preachers and believers were faced with expulsion from their churches. But up to this point, William Miller had advised his followers not to separate from their churches." (Wikipedia)

"Charles Fitch then preached a powerful sermon based on Revelation 18: "Babylon the great has fallen... Come out of her, my people!" Up to this point, most Protestants had identified Babylon in the text as the papacy of the Roman Catholic Church. In this sermon, Fitch labeled all the Protestant churches that had not accepted the message of Jesus' Second Coming as Babylon. He then invited the Millerites to separate from their churches."
    (Wikipedia)

"In 1842, feeling the need of an accurate chart, Fitch and Apollos Hale prepared the famous chart illustrating the fulfillment of the last-time prophecies of Daniel. This was used extensively by the Millerites. Fitch himself used this chart and also other visual aids including a replica of the Daniel 2 statue that could be separated into its various parts. (Adventist Pioneer Library)

"After the first initial disappointment that occurred when Jesus did not come by the spring of 1844, Fitch then traveled east to continue evangelizing." (Wikipedia)

"In August 1844, Samuel S. Snow reinvigorated the Millerite movement by predicting that Jesus would come on October 22, 1844." (Wikipedia)

". . . he (Fitch) contracted a high fever and died on October 14, 1844, just eight days before he expected Jesus to come. He was 39 years old." (Wikipedia)

  2. I believe the Liar in Lyar will be absolutely sure Jesus is coming on Pentecost and how we just didn't see what is now crystal clear to him.

  4. Stuck in the middle of that letter is this statement: "In fact, Elijah and the faithful living saints receive absolutely massive power for a brief period, during which all living saints are united. What happens over the next several days (the last days) before Christ returns on “that day” is a story so staggering no email could begin to do it justice. Since our wait appears to be for a very brief additional period, there is not time to inform the Church of even a fraction of the evidence. If this brief period comes and goes, then everything would need to be explained—and the story is truly incredible! Mr. Pack would lay it out in detail if we were to enter a wait for another year."

How could the average member even begin to process the disheartening non fulfillment of what was to happen in Abib when they are instantly presented with the fact that they will be given "absolute massive power" and will "unite all the living saints" and the story of how it all happens is "so staggering and incredible" an email could do it no justice.

Dave Pack and the men at headquarters must have gone to the Billy Mays' school of selling. Billy was selling simple laundry soap, but did it with great theater. The month of Lyar is just another opportunity to stage another stupendous scene by the speculators inhabiting the North tower of the RCG headquarters and to continue to perpetuate great theater.

If I remember correctly, Billy's soap also had absolute massive power to clean anything. It was also guaranteed to unite all of my clothing into uniform cleanness, and the offer that was presented to me was so staggering and incredible, how could I not buy it.

So, have I become a scoffer of "Billy" Pack? No, I am a buyer - just not a buyer of a liar - for there is after all, the promise of HIS coming!

  5. Does anyone know how many RCG members are left? Is it a thousand? Less? And how many ministers are left? Ten? Twenty?

    1. I’d like to know too. Based on my info, less than 100 at HQ weekly service. I think his big cash flow comes from inheritance type endowments. He cons the old and dying and convinces them to cut out family and give it to him. And he builds horse barns, buys horses, drops hundreds of thousands on gardens and trees. And he has really snazzy suits and big gold cuff links. All the while cutting down the country that protects his rights to rip people off. Despicable man.

  6. THE LYING, THIEVING, FALSE PROPHETS

The “Flooded With Much New Revelation” LIAR, Gerald R. Flurry. That False Prophet Gerald Flurry likes to “flood” his PCG cult with much “new revelation” about how great he supposedly is, how great his plagiarized and revised “little book” supposedly is, and how great his new pet rock supposedly is. All of the Much New Bullshit generated by little Gerald was invented to benefit himself and his satanic imposter cult. Gerald expects you to pay for his lies with your tithes.

The “Greatest Story Ever Told” LIAR, David C. Pack. Dave the vomiting mouth. Where to begin? More importantly, will Dave's series of chronic lying ever end? It very well might be some of the Greatest Bullshit Ever Sold. Dave expects you to pay for his lies with your tithes -- plus with everything else you have (cash, savings, retirement plans, houses, possessions, etc.).

The Prophetic Fantasy Fiction Writing LIAR, Ronald E. Weinland. Ron acts like he noticed that other false prophets are unable to guess the future correctly even when they waste much time and energy watching the news and trying to guess right. So, apparently Ron just makes up stuff and nonsense in his prophetic fantasy fiction books without even trying. For his fiction books, Ron wants not merely a royalty stream but a tithe stream.

The Mentally Challenged LIAR, Robert J. Thiel. Bob makes up childish fibs about being ordained a prophet when he was actually anointed at his request for a physical illness. The anointer should have prayed about Bob's mental illness too and not just about Bob's physical illness. Very few Americans are foolish enough to send Bob money, since he just gets tricked out of it by his needy African dependants.

  7. 4/19 5:55, You are so right, my ex left nothing for his kids, it all went to Pack in his money grab, the ex had no intention of even telling his kids there wasn't anything for them. I found out and told them, didn't want them coming after me when he dies wondering where it all went.

  8. Doing a simple web search for the months of the Hebrew calendar shows that the name of the month in question is "Iyar", with a capital i - not "Lyar", with a capital L. Kicking off with that obvious mistake in the title discredits the post, in my eyes. If you must mock, at least base it on fact.

  9. Well, if you had paid attention and not gotten so self-righteous on us you would have seen that it is spelled properly in the quote. Most of us had the sense to see that since the word sounds so close to liar and Dave Pack is a lair, that it could be used to mock him. But no, you never bothered to finish the post till you started mansplaining.

  10. “When your pastor lies to you for five years”

When your pastor lies to you for five years, shame on him.

When your pastor lies to you for twenty or more years and you still listen to him, shame on you.
